In the Siddhānta-śiromaṇi, Chapter One (Golādhyāya), in the Bhuvana-kośa section, the nine khaṇḍas are mentioned as follows:</p>
:aindraṁ kaśeru sakalaṁ kila tāmraparṇam
:anyad gabhastimad ataś ca kumārikākhyam
:nāgaṁ ca saumyam iha vāruṇam antya-khaṇḍaṁ
:gāndharva-saṁjñam iti bhārata-varṣa-madhye
