- If people would take shelter of the KCM & practice the simple austerities of no illicit sex, intoxication, gambling & no meat-eating, & chant the HK mantra regularly (16 rounds), by this practical method it would be a very easy task to get salvation

- One cannot be liberated from the cycle of birth and death, known as transmigration of the soul, unless one is completely freed from all sinful activities. The best process, therefore, is to take to Krsna consciousness
- One cannot take to Krsna consciousness unless he is completely washed of all sinful activity. So we forbid four things, because they are pillars of sinful activities: illicit sex life, intoxication, meat-eating and gambling
- One cannot take to Krsna consciousness without being freed from all sinful activities. Naturally one who is very serious about Krsna consciousness is freed from all sinful activity. Consequently a devotee is never inclined to commit sins
- One certainly becomes addicted to sinful activities when he becomes devoid of his good chaste wife, or when he has lost his good sense and does not take to Krsna consciousness
- One may ask why highly educated persons do not take to Krsna consciousness. The reason is explained in this verse. Unless one takes shelter of a bona fide, fully Krsna conscious spiritual master, there is no chance of understanding Krsna
- One must take to Krsna consciousness to become really happy; otherwise happiness is impossible
- One should not be attached to temporary things. One should take to Krsna consciousness and become eternally happy
- One should not endeavor to be promoted to the higher planetary systems, only to return to this earth or descend still lower to the hellish planets. To stop this cycle of going up and coming down, one must take to Krsna consciousness
- One should not render devotional service just to increase his income. We want money to become happy, but if we take to Krsna consciousness, automatically we will become so happy that we will neglect money
- One should take to Krsna consciousness, as Krsna Himself recommends. Man-mana bhava mad-bhakto mad-yaji mam namaskuru: (BG 18.65) "Always think of Me, become My devotee, worship Me and offer Me obeisances." This is very easy, even for a child
- One should take to the service of the Lord, or Krsna consciousness, and thus very soon become a perfect man, as confirmed in Bhagavad-gita ((9.31) ksipram bhavati dharmatma sasvac chantim nigacchati)
- One who has taken to Krsna consciousness is to be considered the most fortunate because he has found the way to act so that his life will be perfect
- One who has taken to Krsna consciousness, devotional service, is not affected by the results of karma

- Our Krsna consciousness movement is teaching, educating, all over the world. There is no distinction. There is no distinction. Don't think that "These Europeans, Americans, they are mlecchas and yavanas. They cannot take to Krsna consciousness"
- Our main purpose for keeping a large temple, however, is for inviting the public. I came to the U.S.A. just to try to give a chance to as many people as possible to take to Krishna Consciousness, because it is the only hope for humanity
- Our only test is how one is taking to KC: Even a so-called butcher comes, we welcome to chant Hare Krishna
- Our preaching means that people are useless, that we have to train them in such a way that they may take to Krsna consciousness

- People are affectionate to father and mother, and they hesitate how to give up... Especially boys, give up the company of family, father and mother, take to Krsna consciousness
- People are so foolish that they are continually committing sinful activities. Therefore yajna is recommended. But they cannot perform yajna also. The only alternative is to take to Krsna consciousness to save you from all risky life
- People must have sane brain to understand, to take this king of education (Krsna Consciousness). Then they will be benefited
- People must take to Krsna consciousness to understand the aim of life, to understand God, and to fulfill the human mission
- People of different mentalities are sometimes elevated and sometimes degraded, but this is not the goal of life. Rather, the goal of life is to become free from elevation and degradation and take to Krsna consciousness
- People say like that. "We shall wait. When I get millions of dollars in my bank balance, then I shall take to Krsna consciousness. Now let me earn money." You see? This is not bhakti or attachment
- People should take to Krsna consciousness and chant the Hare Krsna mantra, as recommended in the sastras (yajnaih sankirtana-prayair yajanti hi sumedhasah) - SB 11.5.32
- People try to rectify one mistake by making another mistake. This is the way of the struggle for existence in the material world. If one in this condition is advised to take to Krsna consciousness and be happy, he does not accept such instructions

- Real purification can take place in human society if its members take to Krsna consciousness. This is clearly stated in all Vedic literature

- Simply squeezing, squeezing. Moghasa mogha-karmanah. That is not the process to find out real pleasure. If you have to find out real pleasure, then you have to take to this Krsna consciousness

- So if you actually are serious about stopping this rascaldom and wish to go back to home, back to Godhead, then you have to take this Krsna consciousness. Because by becoming Krsna conscious, you become fully qualified
- So if you are actually anxious and serious to stop this repetition of birth and death, then we must take to Krsna consciousness, because without Krsna consciousness nobody can stop the repetition of birth and death
- So taste of different classes are different. But one thing is that in whichever class we may belong, if you take to Krsna consciousness, then we become one
- So this frustration of the American and English boys with the materialistic way of life is a good sign for accepting Krsna consciousness. Of course, one does not need to become poor to take to Krsna consciousness
- So yesam anta-gatam papam. So without being freed from sinful activities nobody can take to Krsna consciousness. The method is easy. You can get out of sinful activities. But don't commit again
- So-called rascal scientists will give bluff, that "We are making solution of all problem." It is never solved. It will never be solved in future also, unless we take to Krsna consciousness. That is a fact. If you like, you can take it; otherwise suffer

- Squeezing material nature is not the process for finding out real pleasure. If we are searching for real pleasure, we have to take to Krsna consciousness
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has advised that one who has taken birth as a human being in Bharata-varsa must first realize himself as a part and parcel of Krsna, and after taking to Krsna consciousness, he must distribute this knowledge all over the world
- Suppose a man is already married and Prahlada says, "Take to Krsna consciousness." He will think, "Oh, how can I leave my wife? We talk so nicely together, sit together and enjoy. How can I leave?" Family attraction is very strong
- Suppose one has taken to Krsna consciousness, bhakti-yoga. So if he can execute properly, then: Then he will understand what is God, what is kingdom of God. And after death, he shall enter into the kingdom of God. So this is the only shelter
- Suppose you are destined to suffer. So apratihata means that in spite of your so-called destiny to suffer, if you take to Krsna consciousness your suffering will be reduced, or there will be no suffering
