- The cause of all causes, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is the cause of the living entities. This is confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.10), where the Lord says, bijam mam sarva-bhutanam - I am the seed of all living entities
- The creation takes place by the diffusion of His (the Supreme Personality of Godhead) different energies, &, as is stated in the Bhagavad-gita, He is everywhere present by His personal representation, the diffusion of His different energies. BG 1972 pur
- The first instruction given by the Lord in BG (2.13): As the embodied soul continually passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. The self-realized soul is not bewildered by such a change
- The Krsna consciousness is existing since the creation, but at least for the last five thousand years, when Krsna was present on this planet, He personally instructed Krsna consciousness, and the instruction is left behind Him, this is Bhagavad-gita
- The living entities are energies, not the energetic. The energetic is Krsna. This is very vividly described in the Bhagavad-gita, the Visnu Purana and other Vedic literatures
- The Lord advises in the Bhagavad-gita that one give up all so-called religious activities and completely engage in the devotional service of the Lord to become free from all anxieties due to the dangerous life of material existence
- The Lord confirmed in Bhagavad-gita (BG 6.47): Of all yogis, he who always abides in Me with great faith, worshiping Me in transcendental loving service, is most intimately united with Me in yoga and is the highest of all
- The Lord confirms in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.4), mat-sthani sarva-bhutani: Everything is resting on Me. This indicates that everything is resting on His own energy
- The Lord confirms this in the Bhagavad-gita: "Anyone who sincerely and seriously engages in My service immediately becomes situated in the transcendental stage wherein he can enjoy unlimited spiritual bliss"
- The Lord declares in Sri Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.32): O son of Prtha, those who take shelter in Me, though they be of lower birth - women, vaisyas (merchants), and sudras (workers) - can attain the supreme destination
- The Lord declares in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 18.69) that no one is dearer to Him than one who risks everything to preach His glory
- The Lord declares in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.31), kaunteya pratijanihi: "O son of Kunti, please declare it." The Lord asks Arjuna to declare, and why
- The Lord even remembers when He taught the Bhagavad-gita to the sun-god some billions of years before. The Lord can remember such millions and billions of years, as stated in the Bhagavad-gita
- The Lord explains in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.4): Earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intelligence and false ego - all together these eight constitute My separated material energies
- The Lord Himself declares in Bhagavad-gita (BG 4.9): One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna
- The Lord Himself says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 4.13), catur-varnyam maya srstam guna-karma-vibhagasah: - According to the three modes of material nature and the work ascribed to them, the four divisions of human society were created by Me
- The Lord Himself says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.14): This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it
- The Lord Himself says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.15): Those miscreants who are grossly foolish, lowest among mankind, whose knowledge is stolen by illusion, and who partake of the atheistic nature of demons, do not surrender unto Me
- The Lord left behind Him the instructions of the Bhagavad-gita not for the benefit of Arjuna alone, but also for all time and in all lands. The Bhagavad-gita, being spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, is the essence of all Vedic wisdom
- The Lord said (in BG) that all living entities exist individually in the past, that they exist now in the present, and that they continue to retain individual identity in the future, even after liberation from the material entanglement. BG 1972 purports
- The Lord says in BG 4.11: Everyone follows My path in all respects, O son of Prtha. One may be a karmi, a jnani, a yogi and then a bhakta or prema-bhakta. But the ultimate stage of realization is prema-bhakti, as actually demonstrated by mother Yasoda
- The Lord says in BG 4.9: One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna." Here (in SB 9.11.22) this is confirmed
- The Lord says in BG 9.25: Those who worship the demigods will take birth among the demigods; those who worship ghosts and spirits will take birth among such beings; those who worship ancestors go to the ancestors; & those who worship Me will live with Me
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (15.15), I am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (18.54): One who is thus transcendentally situated at once realizes the Supreme Brahman and becomes fully joyful. He never laments nor desires to have anything
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (4.13), According to the three modes of material nature and the work ascribed to them, the four divisions of human society were created by Me
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (7.3): Out of many thousands among men, one may endeavor for perfection, and of those who have achieved perfection, hardly one knows Me in truth
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 18.61): The Supreme Lord is situated in everyone's heart, O Arjuna, and is directing the wanderings of all living entities, who are seated as on a machine, made of the material energy
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 18.68-69), One who preaches the message of Bhagavad-gita to My devotees is most dear to Me. No one can excel him in satisfying Me by worship
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 2.28): All created beings are unmanifest in their beginning, manifest in their interim state, and unmanifest again when they are annihilated. So what need is there for lamentation
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 4.7): Whenever and wherever there is a decline in religious practice, O descendant of Bharata, and a predominant rise of irreligion - at that time I descend Myself
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 4.9): One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance & activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.10): This material nature is working under My direction, O son of Kunti, and it is producing all moving and unmoving beings. By its rule this manifestation is created and annihilated again and again
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.11), avajananti mam mudha manusim tanum asritam: Fools deride Me when I descend in a human form
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.26): "If a devotee offers Me with devotion a little leaf, a flower, fruit or water, I shall accept it." Why does the Lord say this? Is He dependent on the offering of the devotee
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.26): "If one offers Me (Krsna) with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, fruit or water, I will accept it." Therefore, all these items may be offered in the sacrificial fire, and Lord Visnu will be satisfied
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.29), samo'ham sarva-bhutesu na me dvesyo 'sti na priyah: "I envy no one, nor am I partial to anyone. I am equal to all."
- The Lord says in Bhagavad-gita that nature works under His superintendence
- The Lord says in the BG that demoniac persons who deny the existence of the Lord are thrown more & more into the darkness of ignorance, and thus such demoniac persons transmigrate life after life without any knowledge of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- The Lord says in the Bhagavad-gita (9.30-31): O son of Kunti, declare it boldly that My devotee never perishes
- The Lord says in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.26) that He knows everything, past, present and future, but that no one but a devotee knows Him as He is
- The Lord says in the Bhagavad-gita, "This created world and material energy are under My control. Under the influence of prakrti, automatically they are created again and again, and this is done by Me through the agency of My external energy"
- The Lord says in the Bhagavad-gita, nistrai-gunyo bhavarjuna - My dear Arjuna, just try to become transcendental to the Vedic rituals
- The Lord says: The sages, knowing Me as the ultimate purpose of all sacrifices & austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets & demigods & the benefactor & well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries - BG 5.29
- The Lord states in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.22), yoga-ksemam vahamy aham: I arrange all life’s necessities for My devotees
- The material creation is certainly meant for the suffering of the conditioned souls, who are part of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, as confirmed by the Lord Himself in Bhagavad-gita - 15.7
- The order of the Lord is distinctly there in the Bhagavad-gita: one should work only for the Lord in all spheres of life. In every sphere of life the Lord should be situated as the proprietor
- The Personality of Godhead is described in the Bhagavad-gita as the most pure, the Supreme and the Absolute Truth
- The PG confirms this reality (of transcendental work) in the Bhagavad-gita (6.40), and Thakura Bhaktivinoda explains it in the following manner: After all, the human race is divided into two sections. The one is legitimate and the other is illegitimate
- The prescription for returning home, back to Godhead, is given by the Lord Himself in Bhagavad-gita - BG 9.34
- The purpose of the Vedas is to establish such (religious) principles under the order of the SG, and the Lord directly orders, at the end of the Gita, that the highest principle of religion is to surrender unto Him only, and nothing more. BG 1972 purports
- The relationship between the Lord and His devotee is reciprocal, as He clearly says in the Bhagavad-gita (9.29): Whoever renders service unto Me in devotion is a friend - is in Me - and I am also a friend to him
- The sane man is enlightened in the disciplic succession from Brahmaji, who was personally instructed by the Lord, or in the disciplic succession from Arjuna, who was personally instructed by the Lord in the Bhagavad-gita
- The speaker of the Bhagavad-gita, Lord Sri Krsna, asserts the importance of the antimaterial universe, which is His abode
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead distinctly says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 15.15), sarvasya caham hrdi sannivisto mattah smrtir jnanam apohanam ca: I am seated in everyone's heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness
- The word avyayatma in the above verse from the Bhagavad-gita (4.6) clearly indicates that the Lord's body is not made of material elements. He is all spirit. Birth and death apply only to the material body
- The words mrtyum amrtam, "death and immortality," are significant. In Bhagavad-gita the Lord says, "I am ultimate death, who takes away everything from the demons"
- There are foolish persons who take Him (Krsna) to be an ordinary man, not knowing the essence of His transcendental features. In BG (9.11) the Lord affirms this: avajananti mam mudha, manusim tanum asritam, param bhavam ajananto, mama bhuta-mahesvaram
- This (eko devo nitya-lilanurakto bhakta-vyapi hrdy antaratma) Vedic version is confirmed in this verse (BG 4.9) of the Gita personally by the Lord. BG 1972 purports
- This was instructed by the Lord Himself to Arjuna in Bhagavad-gita: "Go on fighting, but keep Me within your mind." That should be the motto of every honest person seeking perfection in Krsna consciousness
- To underscore the validity of mystics or devotees, the Personality of Godhead says in Bhagavad-gita (6.22) that He does not consider anything more valuable than the attainment of that transcendental state

- We often wonder how these big planets are floating in the air. It is stated here (in BG 8.9) that the Supreme Lord, by His inconceivable energy, is sustaining all these big planets and systems of galaxies. BG 1972 purports
- When Lord Krsna spoke the Bhagavad-gita, it appears that such philosophers existed, and they were known as the Lokayatikas and Vaibhasikas. BG 1972 purports
- When the Lord appears it is mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita that He does so in His Own Internal Potency. This Internal Potency is called Yoga Maya
- When the Personality of Godhead comes before us, we neglect Him. Such foolish negligence is condemned by the Lord in the Bhagavad-gita
