• A ksatriya must be tolerant in all circumstances, especially on the battlefield. Thus Bali Maharaja asserted that he was not at all afraid of death, although he was threatened by such a great personality as the King of heaven
• A ksatriya who dies in the battlefield for the right cause, he goes to the heaven. If he conquers over the enemy, he enjoys the kingdom. And if he dies... But the cause must be right
• A real ksatriya does not kill his enemy from behind, nor does a real ksatriya turn his back on the battlefield. According to ksatriya principle and spirit, one either attains victory or dies on the battlefield
• According to Maharaja Pariksit, the Battlefield of Kuruksetra was just like a vast ocean full of dangerous animals
• Actually Arjuna was engaged in very unpleasant activity on the battlefield, but because he was in Krsna consciousness, he suffered no reaction
• Actually Krsna is not partial to anyone, but externally it appears that He is partial. This partiality (of Krsna on the battlefield showing some partiality and sides with Arjuna), however, should not be accepted in the ordinary sense
• After describing the scene in the battlefield, Sanjaya told the King (Dhrtarastra), "You are thinking of victory, but my opinion is that where Krsna and Arjuna are present, there will be all good fortune." BG 1972 purports
• All of these demigods and demons assembled on the battlefield with a fighting spirit and attacked one another with great strength. All of them desiring victory, they fought in pairs, hitting one another severely with sharpened arrows, swords and lances
• All persons who participated in the Battlefield of Kuruksetra or otherwise with the Lord (Krsna) or with Baladeva, etc., would benefit by attaining spiritual existence according to the situation of their minds at the time of death
• All the commanders on the Battlefield of Kuruksetra were maha-rathas. Many of them are mentioned in Bhagavad-gita. Bhisma, Karna, and Dronacarya were especially great commanders
• Although He has innumerable pastimes, the most important is that of Krsna in human form frolicking in Vrndavana, dancing with the gopis, playing with the Pandavas on the Battlefield of Kuruksetra and playing in Mathura and Dvaraka
• Although the devastated battlefield appeared like the dancing place of Lord Siva at the time of the dissolution of the world, the warriors on the side of Krsna were very much encouraged by seeing this, and they fought with greater strength
• Although you can produce so much jugglery through illusion, you are endowed with a poor fund of knowledge. Now, try to exist on this battlefield with your relatives and friends
• And by his mind a Krsna conscious person always thinks of the activities of the Lord - as He is speaking on the battlefield of Kuruksetra or engaging in His various pastimes at Vrndavana with His devotees
• Anyone who was killed, who died in the Battlefield of Kuruksetra, in the presence of Krsna, they all attained their original, constitutional position, spiritual form. They all went back to home, back to Godhead, everyone

• Arjuna was only superficially offensive because (as has already been explained in the Second Chapter of BG) all the assembled persons on the battlefield would continue to live individually, as the soul cannot be slain. BG 1972 purports
• Arjuna's desire to retire from activities on the battlefield was not approved by the Lord. One need only know how to act. BG 1972 purports
• As stated by Lord Krsna in Bhagavad-gita (BG 2.12), all living entities assembled in the battlefield, as well as Krsna Himself, were also present in the past as individuals and would continue to be present in the future as individuals also
• As the dangers of a dream cease when the dreamer awakens, the illusions created by the jugglery of the demons were vanquished by the transcendental prowess of the Supreme Personality of Godhead as soon as He entered the battlefield
• As the demigods closed their eyes in fear, Vrtrasura, taking up his trident and making the earth tremble with his great strength, trampled the demigods beneath his feet on the battlefield the way a mad elephant tramples hollow bamboos in the forest
• As the fighting progressed, the princes and soldiers of the enemy began to fall from their horses, elephants and chariots. Within a short time, millions of severed heads, decorated with helmets and earrings, had fallen on the battlefield
• At least for the time being, they (warriors on the battlefield) knew that Krsna has come. Suppose a prominent man comes in a big meeting. Is not everyone conscious of that person?
• At the dawn of modern history, the Armageddon fought in India over a political question. On that historic battlefield the problem of human suffering and its permanent solution was discussed, and this discussion was compiled in the form of Bhagavad-gita
