- From the Bhagavad-gita we understand that because Krsna has a sac-cid-ananda body, He did not forget instructing the sun-god about the Bhagavad-gita millions of years ago

- If I said that I gave a speech on the sun some millions of years ago to the sun-god, people would say, "Swamiji is speaking some nonsense." But this is not the case with Krsna, for He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- In the Fourth Chapter (BG) we have seen that Lord Krsna remembers instructing Vivasvan, the sun-god, millions of years ago. Krsna knows every living entity because He is situated in every living being's heart as the Supreme Soul. BG 1972 purports
- In the Fourth Chapter Krsna states that He can remember instructing the lessons of the Bhagavad-gita some millions of years ago to the sun-god, Vivasvan
- In the Fourth Chapter of the Bhagavad-gita Lord Krsna affirms that formerly (some 120 million years before the Battle of Kuruksetra) He explained the mystic philosophy of the Gita to the sun-god
- In this verse (BG 4.5) it is understood that some millions of years ago when Lord Krsna spoke the Bhagavad-gita to the sun-god Vivasvan, Arjuna, in a different capacity, was also present. BG 1972 purports
- In this Western world they say, "Song of God." So Bhagavad-gita is spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. So He said that - This is not a new literature. Millions of years ago I spoke about this yoga system, imam vivasvate yogam proktavan
- Indeed, it (different opinions of demons & devotees) has existed since days of yore. Millions of years ago, there was the same competition. The demons, as a result of their so-called Vedic study, preferred to hold the side of the snake near the mouth
- It is estimated from authoritative sources of Vedic literature that Bhagavad Gita is eternal truth and was first revealed within our knowledge at least 120 millions of years ago
- It is not that Krsna is speaking Bhagavad-gita to Arjuna for the first time. It is estimated by Vedic authorities that the Lord imparted these divine instructions to Vivasvan some 400 million years ago
- It is understood that some millions of years ago when Lord Krsna spoke the Bhagavad-gita to the sun-god Vivasvan, Arjuna, in a different capacity, was also present
K
- Krsna remembers what He said forty million years ago to the sun-god, but an ordinary being cannot remember what he said the day before yesterday. This is the difference between Krsna's body and our body
- Krsna says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 4.1), imam vivasvate yogam proktavan aham avyayam: "I spoke this science of God - Bhagavad-gita - to the sun-god at least forty million years ago
- Krsna says that, "This philosophy of Bhagavad-gita I spoke to the sun-god, some forty millions of years ago." How He remembers? Because He does not change His body. This is simple fact
- Krsna says: "I spoke." So it is millions and millions, at least, four hundred thousand millions of times, millions of years ago, according to the calculation of Manu. So Krsna said millions and millions of years ago this Bhagavad-gita He remembers
M
- Millions and millions of years ago, when Narada Muni was a Gandharva, he neglected the order to glorify the Lord, and being mad in the association of women, he began to chant otherwise. Thus he was cursed to become a sudra
- Millions of years ago all living entities were interested in eating, sleeping, mating and defending; the same thing is going on. There is no change
- Millions of years ago the sun was rising early in the morning, and it is rising early in the morning at present moment also. There is no change
- Millions of years ago, animal sacrifice and slave trade both existed. Indeed, they have existed since time immemorial
- Millions of years ago, the past and present and future as they were, at the present moment also, the same past, present and future are there. So there is no question of modern age or past age; the nature's law is the same
T
- The castle (created by Kardama Muni) had many stories. The words upary upari vinyasta indicate that skyscrapers are not newly invented. Even in those days, millions of years ago, the idea of building many-storied houses was current
- The eternal position of Krsna is revealed in Bhagavad-gita. There Krsna said to Arjuna, "In the past, millions of years ago, I spoke this philosophy of Bhagavad-gita to the sun-god." Arjuna appeared not to believe this

- This practice is very old, as learned from this verse (3.22.23) of Srimad-Bhagavatam; millions of years ago, Svayambhuva Manu used to avail himself of this opportunity to live householder life in peace and prosperity of a Krsna consciousness atmosphere
- This process of controlling the mind might have been very possible in those days millions of years ago when Dhruva Maharaja took to it, but at the present moment the mind has to be fixed directly on the lotus feet of the Lord by the chanting process
- Time is immemorial, and many, many millions of years ago there were living entities, more perfect living entities. They're still living. But we have no information
- Time, it may be any time, but the knowledge is eternal. Just like Krsna spoke five thousand years ago to Arjuna and some forty millions of years ago to the sun god. So time is different
W
