- A glossary of some of the important words in this chapter (SB 4th Canto, Ch 28): Sapta-suta - The seven sons, namely hearing, chanting, remembering, offering prayers, serving the lotus feet of the Lord, worshiping the Deity&becoming a servant of the Lord
- A living entity who always remembers the Lord and is thus His constant companion is as transcendentally situated as the Lord Himself

- Pada-sevanam. According to one's taste and strength, hearing, chanting and remembrance may be followed by pada-sevanam. One obtains the perfection of remembering when one constantly thinks of the lotus feet of the Lord

- The direct method of getting liberation from material bondage is devotional service, comprising the nine following methods: sravanam kirtanam visnoh smaranam pada-sevanam arcanam vandanam dasyam sakhyam atma-nivedanam
- The enquirer should be very submissive, and the answer-giver also should always remember the lotus feet, so the right answer can be given. This is the way of spiritual enquiry and spiritual answer. This is called sva-gosthi

- We therefore pray unto You, O Lord, for You are very affectionate to Your devotees. Please help us remember You and utter Your holy names, attributes and activities, which can dispel all the reactions of our sinful lives
- We want simply to chant Hare Krsna and remember Krsna. That is Krsna consciousness. It doesn't matter whether it is in the hell or heaven
