- Real servant
- Regulative principles should act as servants of the basic principle - that is, one should always remember Krsna and never forget Him

- A brahmacari has to live in the home of the spiritual master just like a servant, and he must beg alms from door to door and bring them to the spiritual master. BG 1972 purports
- A brahmacari, from the very beginning of his life, he is trained to act only for guru. That is brahmacari. It is enjoined that a brahmacari live at the shelter, at the care of guru just like a menial servant
- A brahmana cannot become servant. Nobody can become servant. Only the sudras can become servant. Brahmana never becomes servant
- A brahmana does not become anyone’s servant. To render service to someone else is the business of the sudras
- A brahmana is strictly prohibited from becoming a servant of anyone else, for that is the business of dogs and sudras. A dog must satisfy his master, but a brahmana does not have to satisfy anyone; he is simply meant to satisfy Krsna
- A common master looks to the necessities of his servant, so how much more would the all-powerful, all-opulent Supreme Lord look after the necessities of life for a fully surrendered soul
- A glossary of some of the important words in this chapter (SB 4th Canto, Ch 28): Bhoga - Enjoyment. Herein this word refers to real enjoyment in spiritual life, Bhrtya - The servants of the body, namely the senses
- A guru may have hundreds of disciples, hundreds of servants, but he doesn't have to pay them. They are serving out of spiritual love, and the guru is teaching without receiving a salary. This is a spiritual relationship
- A hardworking man thinks himself the lord of his family and estate, but actually he is a servant of desire and the employee of anger. Such service of the senses is neither pensionable nor terminable
- A Hindu, Muslim, Buddhist or Christian is in all circumstances a servant of someone
- A king is always associated with his secretary, his commander, his servant and so much paraphernalia
- A ksatriya, vaisya or sudra cannot be accepted as a servant. If a spiritual master accepts such a person, he is contaminated. Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya therefore asked why Isvara Puri accepted a servant or disciple born of a sudra family
- A living being renounces something for gaining something more valuable. A student sacrifices his childish proclivities to gain better education. A servant gives up his job for a better job
- A living entity, although servant of his senses, tries to become master of the whole universe. Hiranyakasipu was a typical example of this
- A master can control maya, but we are not master; we are servant. How we can control maya? It is impossible. But if you become servant of Krsna, maya will not touch you. That's all
- A master is asking servant that "You knock me here." So he's knocking like this. So that is service. The others may see, "Oh, he's knocking and he's thinking, 'I am serving'? What is this? He's knocking." But master wants that "You knock me"
- A master sometimes punishes his servant, not out of vengeance but out of love, to correct him and bring him to the right point
- A person who is born into a responsible family - such as a ksatriya, or a government servant - but who neglects to execute his prescribed duties according to religious principles falls down at the time of death into the river of hell known as Vaitarani
- A servant acting on behalf of the supreme master is unaffected by profit and loss. He simply discharges his duty faithfully in terms of the order of the Lord
- A servant has no individual independence. He acts only on the order of the master. A servant acting on behalf of the supreme master has no affection for profit and loss. He simply discharges his duty faithfully in terms of the order of God. BG 1972 pur
- A servant may desire to start his own business and imitate his master, and when he chooses to do so, he may leave the protection of his master. Sometimes he is a failure, and sometimes he is successful
- A servant must know the instructions of his master. The servants of Yamaraja claimed to be carrying out his orders, and therefore the Visnudutas very intelligently asked them to explain the symptoms of religious and irreligious principles
- A servant should think of his master as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. In this way, all of them will automatically become devotees of the Lord. In other words, by thinking this way, all of them will become Krsna conscious
- A servant who desires material profits from his master is certainly not a qualified servant or pure devotee. A master who bestows benedictions upon his servant because of a desire to maintain a prestigious position as master is also not a pure master
- A spiritual master takes his disciples as his spiritual master. That is the position. He thinks that, "Krsna has sent me so many spiritual master." He does not think himself as spiritual master, he thinks himself their servant
- A sudra should not leave his master when the master is old and invalid, and the master should keep the servants satisfied in all respects
- A wrong act committed by a servant leads people in general to blame his master, just as a spot of white leprosy on any part of the body pollutes all of the skin
- Accompanied by a servant carrying his baggage, Raghunatha Bhatta started from Varanasi and traveled along the path leading through Bengal
- According to the Vaisnava philosophy, the master is one, and the servants are also one, but the distinction between the master and servant must continue even in the liberated stage
- According to Vedic civilization, domestic animals and servants are treated exactly like one's own children. Animals and children are sometimes punished not out of vengeance but out of love. Similarly, a master sometimes punishes his servant
- Actually the President means the servant of the voters, and as soon as the voters do not like him... Just like Nixon is drawn back
- Actually, that is the fact. We are not independent. We are dependent on God in so many things. God has engaged the servant, the sun-god. He's also demigod. He is working under the order of the Supreme Lord
- Adanta means unbridled, uncontrolled. Go means indriya or senses. Materialistic persons, they cannot control their senses. They are servant of the senses, godasa. Go means indriya, and dasa means servant
- Advaita Acarya's very confidential servant named Kamalakanta Visvasa knew all the dealings of Advaita Acarya
- After a while, she (Mother Yasoda) became engaged in household affairs. At that time, a servant of Kamsa's known as Trnavarta, as instructed by Kamsa, appeared there in the shape of a whirlwind
- After all, he said, "Gopinatha Pattanayaka is your faithful servant. To condemn a servant to death is not good behavior"
- After crossing the hills, Sanatana Gosvami told his servant, "Isana, I think you still have some balance left from the gold coins"
- After departing from Isana, Sanatana Gosvami began traveling alone with a waterpot in his hand. Simply covered with a torn quilt, he thus lost all his anxiety
- After finishing His evening bath, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu sat down and waited for Ramananda Raya to come. Then Ramananda Raya, accompanied by one servant, came to meet Him
- After finishing their prescribed duties, the many servants of Lord Jagannatha, who are known as visayis, return home at night
- After seeing Jagannatha temple, Bhattacarya returned home and brought with him much prasada purchased from the temple. He sent all this prasada to Lord Caitanya through his brahmana servant
- After serving the Bhattacarya with first-class prasadam, Gopinatha Acarya said, "Just consider what the Bhattacarya's previous mundane behavior was! Just consider how at present he is enjoying transcendental bliss"
- Aham mameti (SB 5.5.8): "I am this body, and in this bodily relationship he is my master, he is my servant, she is my wife, and he is my son." All these conceptions are temporary due to the inevitable change of body and the arrangement of material nature
- All living entities, moving and nonmoving, receive their vital force, their bodily strength and their very lives from the air. All of us follow the air for our vital force, exactly as servants follow an emperor
- All the demigods and their wives are constantly supplied with sandalwood pulp and flower garlands by their servants. In this way, all the residents of the eight heavenly varsas enjoy, attracted by the activities of the opposite sex
- All the demigods are servants who carry out the orders of the Supreme Lord, the Personality of Godhead. Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu disclosed this fact in His childhood
- All the servants of Lord Jagannatha delivered remnants of the Lord's food to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. In return, Caitanya Mahaprabhu embraced them all
- All the servants of the Deity were struck with wonder due to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's intense love, His exquisite beauty and His transcendental qualities
- All the servants, they complained, "Sir, there is ghost." So I was chanting. He was living in several spots, especially on the gate side. So I could understand. But I would chant Hare Krsna, and I was saved. Everyone was saved
- Although His father was Nanda Maharaja, a village vaisya king, & although Krsna was the PG Himself, still He could not refuse. He had to go. Nicavat - just like a menial servant. This is brahmacarya, spiritual student life. This is tapasya
- Although the relationship is father, son and servant, but the fact is one. That is to be understood, what is the spiritual world
- Always attended by their respective servants, they enjoy life in gardens alongside the lakes. In this pleasing situation, the wives of the demigods smile playfully at their husbands and look upon them with lusty desires
- Always thinking of Krsna. Bhakta means servant, devotee. Whatever Krsna desires, do it. It is not very difficult. Worship Krsna and offer respect to Krsna. Four things. Anyone can do. It doesn't require any high education, high philosophical mind
- An effeminate husband, simply being attracted by the external beauty of his wife, tries to become her most obedient servant. Sripada Sankaracarya has therefore advised that we not become attracted by a lump of flesh and blood
- An experienced person does not speak the way you are speaking about the relationship between a master and a servant or about material pains and pleasures. These are simply external activities
- Animals and children are sometimes punished not out of vengeance but out of love. Similarly, a master sometimes punishes his servant, not out of vengeance but out of love, to correct him and bring him to the right point
- Any servant of any big man, he is bigger than his master, because master is given so many varieties of food. Master takes little, and the balance the servants eat. So where is his want? There is no question of want
- Any Vaisnava is addressed as prabhu - but Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is mahaprabhu, the topmost prabhu, the master prabhu. All others are servant prabhu
- Appreciating Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's favor, Bhavananda Raya also said, "Along with my home, riches, servants and five sons, I surrender myself at Your lotus feet"
- Are your wives, citizens, secretaries and servants and the merchants who sell spices and oil under your control? Are you also in full control of ministers, the inhabitants of your palace, your provincial governors, your sons and your other dependents?
- As a former minister for the Nawab, Sanatana could certainly understand diplomacy. He therefore thought, "Why is this landlord offering me such respect?" Thinking in this way, he questioned his servant, whose name was Isana
- As a government servant is always the same, either in the office or at home or at any place, so a devotee has nothing to do with anything material, for he is exclusively engaged in the transcendental service of the Lord
- As a result of his (Nasaratsa's, son of Nawab Hussain Shah) sinful activities (against the Vaisnavas), one of his servants from the Khoja group killed him while he was praying in the mosque
- As Guru Maharaja Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati used to say - Don't try to see God. Is God to come and stand before us like a servant just because we want to see Him? That is not the submissive way. We have to oblige Him by our love and service
- As long as loving service is rendered to the Lord in the master-servant relationship, there is some fear, for the servant is always afraid of the master, despite the intimacy of self-interest
- As long as one is a servant of mental concoctions, one cannot be completely free from the disease of "I" and "mine."
- As servant of maya, Sometimes he is in heaven and sometimes in hell. Sometimes he is a demigod, and sometimes he is a demon. Sometimes he is a servant, and sometimes he is a master. In this way the living entity wanders all over the universe
- As servant, we shall not cheat the master. Result, no result - that depends on Krsna. We should not be sorry if there is no result. Never mind
- As servants of the Supreme Lord, all living entities are one, but a Vaisnava, because of his natural humility, addresses every other living entity as prabhu. A Vaisnava sees other servants to be so advanced that he has much to learn from them
- As soon as one comes to know his real position as transcendental servant, he at once becomes free from all miseries
- As soon as one is said that "You become God's servant," "Oh, again servant?" But he's actually servant of intoxication. That will continue
- As soon as we say "Here is light," there must be darkness. This is called relative world. One has to be understood by other relative terms. But there is another world, which is called absolute world. There the master and the servant, the same
- As soon as we speak that "Here is son," there must be father. As soon as we say "Here is husband," there must be wife. As soon as we say "Here is servant," there must be master
- As soon as you become master, you will be kicked. But that is also false position. We cannot become master; we are servant. But instead of serving Krsna, we are serving maya. That is our position
- As the various servants in the different departments of big establishments cannot see the supreme managing director under whom they are working, the conditioned souls cannot see the supreme friend sitting within their bodies
- At night, when Sivananda Sena returned and was taking his meal, he inquired from the servant whether the dog had gotten its meals
- At that very moment, the Lord, who is called Padmanabha because of the lotus grown from His navel and who is the delight of the righteous, learned about the insult offered by His own servants to the saints
- At the house of Raghunatha dasa, the servant and watchman, not seeing him there, immediately went to inquire about him from his spiritual master, Yadunandana Acarya
B

- Because I am servant of cigarette. So you have to train yourself to become swami, master of your senses
- Because of his disobedience to the orders of the Vedas & the brahmanas, King Vena, Prthu Maharaja's father, was killed by the brahmanas. Prthu Maharaja knew very well that it behooved him to rule the planet as the servant of saintly persons and brahmanas
- Because one who works in Krsna consciousness is servant to all, he is very dear to everyone. And, because everyone is satisfied by his work, he is pure in consciousness. BG 1972 purports
- Because Saubhari Muni was expert in chanting mantras perfectly, his severe austerities resulted in an opulent home, with garments, ornaments, properly dressed & decorated maidservants & manservants & varieties of parks with clear-water lakes & gardens
- Because we have given up Krsna's service, we have become servants of so many things. We are obliged to serve our parents, wife, children, country and so forth. We are indebted to many people and to the demigods who give heat and light
- Because you are doing the field work of book distribution, Krishna has immediately recognized them as true servants. Just like during war, a farm boy or ordinary clerk who goes to fight for his country, immediately becomes a national hero for his effort
- Being freed from maya’s influence, one can again become a pure servant and equal qualitatively to the Lord
- Between the servitor and the served there is a feeling of oneness (mamata). This mamata begins with dasya-prema, service rendered to the master by the servant
- Bhakti is a relationship between master and servant. The servant's duty is to serve the master, and the master supplies whatever the servant needs. - Katha Upanisad 2.2.13
- Bhismadeva advised for all human beings nine qualifications: (7) not to be inimical toward anyone, (8) to be simple, and (9) to support servants or subordinates. One cannot be called a civilized person without acquiring these preliminary qualities
- Both the servant and the master are already purified because neither of them is in touch with the impurities of material existence. They are already equal in quality because both of them are the purest. However, there is a difference in quantity
- By following the regulative principles of devotion, the perfect associates of the Lord are further divided into four classes: the servants, the friends, the parental superiors and the fiancees
C
- Can anybody say in this meeting that he's not servant of anybody or anything? He must be, because that is his constitutional position. But the difficulty is that by serving our senses, there is no solution of the problem, of the miseries
- Consequently all the fruits of his activities were dedicated to the Lord, and he always thought of himself as the servant of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is the proprietor of everything
D
- Dasa means servant, and go means senses. And if you are master of the senses, then you are gosvami. Every word has meaning. So without being fit, we should not use this word as personal designation
- Dharma means characteristic. So what is our characteristic? I was going to explain. That we are now serving our senses. This is our material characteristic. Material characteristic because originally I am servant. I am not master
- Division of duties of the servants
- Due to the mode of passion, we desire many things, and according to our desire or anxiety and according to the order of the Supreme Lord, material nature gives us a certain type of body. For some time we play as master or servant
- Duty of a servant
- Duty of the servant authority
E
- Each servant is dancing according to the order of the Supreme. That's all. Nobody is master. So this false conception of becoming master is called maya, illusion. Nobody is master
- Education means to become servant, to write one application and go office to office: "Sir, give me some service." "No, no, no. No vacancy. Get out." This is education
- Either I become president or minister or head of the family, head of the community, society - whatever I may be, my position is servant, but I'm thinking that I have become master. This is called illusion
- Either you follow the father or you follow the servant, in the absolute world there is no such difference. It is called advaya-jnana, - no duality
- Engaged in devotional service in Krsna consciousness, one has no proprietorship claim, nor is one situated in the false egoism of thinking that he is God or the master. He always thinks himself the servant. That is the process of purifying consciousness
- Even Mahatma Gandhi, the great servant of India He served India so nicely. Still, the master was not satisfied, and the master killed him. He wanted to serve his country, but the result was that his countrymen killed him
- Even the President Johnson, he's not a master. He's also a servant. Every one of us is a servant. But what kind of servant?
- Every devotee is subordinate. Nobody is equal to Krsna. If we do that, then it is mistake. A devotee never says. Dasa. Dasa means servant. Servant is always the subordinate
- Every railway servant should see to it that the wheels of the carriages or vehicles must be moving always, which means that the railway is going nicely
- Everyone here, they want to imitate Krsna. Everyone is trying how to become a very big man, how to construct a very big, high skyscraper building, how to possess three dozen motorcar and how to possess so many servants, how to possess so many followers
- Everyone in Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya's house is very dear to Me, including his maids and servants and even his dog. And what to speak of his relatives
- Everyone in the material world is a servant; no one is master. One may think that he is the master, but he is actually a servant
- Everyone is a government servant, but no one is the government himself. That is the position of all living entities in the government of the Supreme Lord
- Everyone is a servant, and no one is a master. Everyone is serving someone or other. Although the president may be the chief executive of the state, still he is serving the state, and when his services are no longer required, the state disposes of him
- Everyone is a servant. No one can actually claim to be master. If we simply take shelter of Krsna, we do not have to offer sacrifices to various demigods. If we water the root of a tree, we do not have to water the branches, twigs, flowers or fruits
- Everyone is seeking a nice shelter. Somebody's seeking some occupation, service of some big man. Somebody's seeking servitorship of the government, government servant. But the ultimate shelter is Krsna, the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Everyone is servant here, all of us present, but someone is serving maya, the illusion, and someone is serving the Supreme Lord
- Everyone is servant. He's simply falsely thinking that he's God, he's master. You have got very nice example in the life of Mr. Nixon. He was thinking that he's everything: "I am the President." But now what is his position, you can understand
- Everyone is servant. Not that, "Oh, everyone is equal to Krsna." That has become a cheap business
- Everyone is servant. That is the definition given by Lord Caitanya, jivera svarupa haya nitya krsna dasa (Cc. Madhya 20.108-109): "A living entity is eternally servant of God." That cannot be changed
- Everyone is servant. Therefore we teach our students to address "prabhu." "I am your servant, you are my master, prabhu." That is the meaning of prabhu. Prabhu means master. And Prabhupada means supreme master. That is the meaning
- Everyone is servant; nobody is master. So there is gradation of service. That's all. Somebody is serving as President, somebody is serving as constable, somebody is serving as dog, somebody is serving as cat
- Everyone should consider himself the servant of the other. That will make management very nice
- Everyone wants to be master of another. Actually he does not serve anyone. He serves because he gets some money. So as soon as the money payment is stopped, immediately servant becomes disobedient. Therefore there is no service in the material world
- Everyone wants to be the master, because to become a servant is not a very palatable thing. But to become the servant of God is not exactly like this
- Everyone's servant means
- Everyone, if you address each other "prabhu," that mastership mentality will be less, if you remember that - I am not master. I am servant
F
- Faith can be changed, but my character is still that I am servant. That cannot be changed
- Father is the leader of the family. And why father is the leader? Because he earns, he maintains the children, wife, servant, and establishment; therefore naturally, he's accepted the leader of the family
- Footsteps of servants like Citraka, Patraka or Raktaka
- For example, on the material platform, when a servant serves a master, he is trying to satisfy not the senses of his master but rather his own senses. The servant would not serve the master if the payment stopped
- For money how unfaithfully and dishonestly they live. Who? First of all taskarah. Taskarah means - burglars, thief, how dishonestly they live, how awfully, sinful life they live, simply for money, taskarah and then sevakah - servants
- For some time we play as master or servant, as actors play on the stage under someone else's direction. While we are in the human form, we should put an end to this nonsensical stage performance. We should come to our original constitutional position
- Formerly he (Nawab Hussain Shah) was the servant of the cruel Nawab of the Habsi dynasty named Mujahphara Khan, but somehow or other he assassinated his master and became the King
- Formerly Subuddhi Raya had been a big landholder in Gauda-desa (Bengal). Saiyada Hussain Khan was then a servant of Subuddhi Raya
- Formerly, one servant was engaged, ten rupees or twelve rupees per month. Now you cannot get a servant unless you pay one hundred rupees. So in that comparison, everyone is getting more money, but still the condition is the same
G
- Genital has become my master, the tongue has become my master, the hand has become my master, the leg has become my master. So I am the servant of so many masters. So my position is very precarious
- Go means "senses," and svami means "master." When you are able to control your senses, then you are a gosvami or svami, the same thing. Otherwise, godasa. Dasa means - servant
- Govinda Gosani, the priest engaged in the service of Lord Govinda in Vrndavana, was a disciple of Kasisvara Gosani. There was no servant more dear to the Govinda Deity
- Guru as God, not become. He's servant-God. And Krsna is master-God
H
- He (King Nrga) prayed to them that he was their servant and that there had been some mistake. Thus, in order to rectify it, he prayed that they be very kind upon him and accept his offer in exchange for the cow
- He (Lord Caitanya) emphasized that Raghunatha dasa's life of material comfort as a very rich man's son with a very beautiful wife and many servants to attend him was like a ditch of stool
- He (Nanda Maharaj) entered deep into the water of the river, but he was arrested immediately by one of the servants of Varunadeva. This servant brought Nanda Maharaja before the demigod Varuna & accused him of taking a bath in the river at the wrong time
- He (Nixon) will take a position, claiming, "I will give you very good service," and "I shall be a first-class servant." Therefore people vote, "All right, you become president." And he is advertising: "Reelect me! Reelect me!" That means he is a servant
- He (Prahlada's father) was very powerful king, and whatever he ordered (to throw him into fire, to give him poison, to pull him from hill), his servant carried out. But he was saved in all circumstances by Krsna
- He (president Nixon) is thinking, "I am master." That is the position. Maya. One who is controlled by maya is thinking himself master, but he is a servant
- He (the devotee) is unlike either the deluded fruitive worker or the baffled empiricist. He is above these servants of material nature because he prefers to serve God, the master of material nature. He seeks the substance and does not wish to give it up
- He (the dog) is passing stool and urine, and the master is thinking, "I am master." But he is being controlled. That is maya. He has become servant of the dog, but he is thinking, - I am master
- He (the gentleman) was very rich man, and the Nawab of Bengal, Hussain Shah, when he was a boy, he was his servant. Later on he became the Nawab, the king
- He (the washerman) could have immediately delivered the clothing to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who promised him all good fortune, but being a servant of Kamsa, the sinful demon could not accept the offer
- He is actually servant, but he wants to become master. That is the defect. So he has to give up this mentality, mastership, then he'll be making real progress
- He is thinking, "I am the master of the dog." A family man is controlled by his wife, his children, by his servants, by everyone, but he is thinking, - I am master
- He said "I want to give money" just to worship the lotus feet of all the great devotees, servants and subservants of Lord Nityananda Prabhu
- He sprinkled the minds of the servants of Lord Jagannatha, the government officers, the pilgrim visitors, the general populace and all the residents of Jagannatha Puri
- He wanted some master, because a dog without master, his position is very precarious. Without master. . . So we are all servant. Every one of us, we are all servants of maya. Maya means we are servant of our desires
- He was a leader among gentlemen and a servant of the devotees. He was a totally qualified plenary expansion of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Therefore who could equal him in the performance of gigantic ritualistic ceremonies?
- Hearing this request, Raghunatha dasa's father agreed. Giving him many servants and materials, the father sent him to see Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, requesting him to return soon
- Hearing this, Sanatana Gosvami chastised his servant, saying, "Why have you brought this death knell with you"
- Hearing up to the point of spontaneous love, the Lord said, "This is all right, but if you know more, please tell Me." In reply, Ramananda Raya said, "Spontaneous loving service in servitude - as exchanged by master, servant - is the highest perfection"
- Here in this material world, service means neither master or servant. Service means to the senses
- Here we find love between mother & son, love between wife & husband, love between master & servant, love between friends & friend, love between the master & the dog or the cat or the cow. Same thing. These are only reflection of the spiritual world
- His father even had five watchmen guard him day and night. Four personal servants were employed to look after his comfort, and two brahmanas were employed to cook for him
- However, let me make it understood that he should come here without weapons. He may bring with him five or seven servants
I
- I (Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami) have thus described the power of the servants of Lord Nityananda. Now I shall describe another characteristic of His mercy
- I am servant of the establishment, but I'm given some power to control over certain departments. So simultaneously, I am servant and controller. As controller, I can be called isvara, isvara, god, as controller. But I am not controller, Supreme Controller
- I am the servant of Isvara Puri. My name is Govinda, and following the orders of my spiritual master, I have come here
- I do not wish the servants of Lord Jagannatha to touch me. I would remain there in the garden alone. That is my desire
- I have already explained that our real occupational duty is to become servant. So instead of becoming servant of Krsna, we are now servant of our senses. This is our material life
- I have got some official servant, and I have got very confidential servant. So to my confidential servant everything is disclosed. He knows everything. But official servant, he may not know everything
- I receive so many letters daily from people expressing how they have found hope in Krsna consciousness. Therefore, it is not a fact that Krsna descended here merely to collect some servants. Rather, He descended for our benefit
- I see in, in, in your country, there are so many gentlemen, they are very fond of becoming servant of cats and dogs. They have no children, but they voluntarily become servant of cats and dogs
- I think that Nrsimhadeva could not eat anything today, and therefore He is fasting. If the master fasts, how can the servant live
- If a servant cannot carry out the orders of his master without being defeated, what is the use of serving such a powerless master
- If a servant makes a mistake, the master is punishable because he is responsible for the offense. Taking this seriously, Yamaraja, along with his servants, prayed with folded hands to be excused by the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Narayana
- If all the people of the state, including the government servants, are taught the techniques of spiritual life, then although everyone is liable to be punished in different ways by the stringent laws of material nature, they will not be implicated
- If anyone has nothing to serve, he keeps a dog and cat and becomes servant of the dog and cat
- If he (the servant) cooks & enjoys himself without offering to the master, then what is his position? That is sinful position. Similarly the demons, they have no sense of God. They do not like to offer. They want to eat anything nonsense, like hogs & dogs
- If I am servant, then I have to serve. So why shall I serve the senses' dictation? I will serve Krsna, what He says." So he's self-realized immediately, within a second
