Theme Analysis
Going against Kṛṣṇa can mean rebellion, envy, and bondage, but in rare intimate exchanges it may appear as loving complaint or playful opposition. Śrīla Prabhupāda shows that hostile opposition to Kṛṣṇa places the soul under māyā, while the affectionate complaints of Mother Yaśodā, the gopīs, and other Vṛndāvana devotees deepen transcendental relationship. The distinction is essential: rebellion rejects Kṛṣṇa's will, whereas loving apparent opposition serves His pleasure.
