- A Vedic injunction supported by Sukadeva Gosvami, one of the mahajanas, or authorities. He says, yathanukirtayanti: one should recite the mantra as it is, without deviation, for then one will be eligible to rise to the platform of all good fortune
- About the expertise of Krsna there is a statement in the Tenth Canto, 59th Chapter, 13th verse, of the Srimad-Bhagavatam, wherein Sukadeva Gosvami tells Maharaj Pariksit
- Although Maharaja Pariksit was a pure devotee, Sukadeva Gosvami did not immediately speak to him about the strength of devotional service
- An example of attachment for Krsna with overwhelming affection is given in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, Tenth Canto, 6th Chapter, 27th verse, where Sukadeva Gosvami addresses Maharaj Pariksit in this way
- As described by Śukadeva Gosvāmī, dhana-durmadāndha: Too much wealth makes one blind. This happens even to Indra in his heavenly kingdom, and what to speak of others in this material world?
- As far as Krsna's predomination is concerned, in the Tenth Canto, 43rd Chapter, 14th verse, of Srimad-Bhagavatam, Krsna is described thus by Sukadeva Gosvami to King Pariksit
- As stated in Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 5.6.18), muktim dadati karhicit. Srila Sukadeva Gosvami told Maharaja Pariksit that Krsna readily grants liberation but does not very readily grant perfection in devotional service
- At the end of the Ninth Canto, Twenty-fourth Chapter, Sukadeva Gosvami summarized the activities of Krsna
B
- Before speaking Srimad-Bhagavatam, Sukadeva Gosvami offered his obeisances to Krsna with this verse (SB 2.4.15). He said, - I offer my obeisances unto Him, for simply hearing of Him is subhadra, auspicious
- Being requested by Maharaja Pariksit, Sukadeva Gosvami continued to speak about the transcendental pastimes of Lord Krsna in the matter of His form, qualities, fame and paraphernalia
H
- Having summarized the teachings of Jada Bharata, Sukadeva Gosvami said: My dear King Pariksit, the path indicated by Jada Bharata is like the path followed by Garuda, the carrier of the Lord, and ordinary kings are just like flies
- He (Sukadeva gosvami) said that after finishing the Asvamedha sacrifice in the great sacrificial arena, King Yudhisthira, in the presence of great authorities, inquired from Lord Krsna on that very same point
- He (Sukadeva Gosvami) says that one can be perfectly purified if one either glorifies Krsna, meditates upon Him, or simply sits before the Deity of Krsna and sees Him, thinking, - How nicely dressed is Krsna. How nicely dressed is Radharani
- He (Sukadeva Gosvami) says, "Any person whose heart is attracted by the transcendental qualities of the S P of Godhead, Madhusudana, not to speak of material opulences, does not care even for that liberation which is aspired to by many great sages"
- He (Sukadeva Gosvami) spoke of how Krsna had personally appeared to reduce the burden on the earth, how He had manifested His pastimes as a householder, and how, soon after His birth, He had transferred Himself to His Vrajabhumi-lila
- How can these questions (Why am I suffering? Wherefrom have I come? What is my constitutional position? etc.) be solved? Sukadeva Gosvami says: nasnatah pathyam evannam vyadhayo 'bhibhavanti hi, evam niyamakrd rajan sanaih ksemaya kalpate - SB 6.1.12

- In this connection, Sukadeva Gosvami speaks in the Sixth Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam, 2nd Chapter, 17th verse, about the story of Ajamila, who began life as a fine and dutiful brahmana but in his young manhood became wholly corrupted by a prostitute
