- Above our planet there are so many other planets. This is called Bhur-loka. Above this, Bhuvar-loka; there is Svargaloka, then Janaloka, then Tapoloka, then Maharloka, then Satyaloka, then there is spiritual sky. Then there is spiritual planet
- Above that (Bhuvarloka) there is Svarloka, there is Janaloka, there is Tapoloka, there is Maharloka, there is Satyaloka, there is Siddhaloka, there is Brahmaloka. What do they know, the modern astronomers? They do not know anything
- Above this planetary system is Bhuvarloka. Above that is Svarloka (the moon belongs to the Svarloka planetary system). Above Svarloka is Maharloka; above that is Janaloka; and above that is Satyaloka
- According to Srila Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura, sons always outlive their fathers in other planetary systems and other lands in this universe, especially on Svargaloka
- All these planetary systems (Bhuloka, Bhuvarloka, and Svargaloka) are controlled by Savita, the sun-god
- All, every each and every planet: Janaloka, Tapoloka, Maharloka, what kind of men are living there, what they are doing - everything is there (in Bhagavata). Svargaloka

- Although you fell from the higher planet Svargaloka and became trees, you were most favored by him. I knew of all these incidents from the very beginning
- As explained by Visvanatha Cakravarti Thakura, there are various roles one may play in such a position (as mother Yasoda). Putana was immediately promoted to Vaikunthaloka, which is also sometimes described as Svarga
- As explained in Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.25), yanti deva-vrata devan. Those interested in being elevated to the higher planetary systems (Devaloka or Svargaloka) must prepare to do so
- At the end of every kalpa the sun is covered by a great cloud, and incessant rain covers the lower planetary systems up to Svargaloka
- At the end of Lord Brahma's day, everything up to Svargaloka is inundated with water, and the next morning, when there is darkness in the universe, Brahma again brings the phenomenal manifestation into existence
B
- Bhukti means karmis, those who are aspiring after being elevated to the higher planetary system, Svargaloka, or higher status of life. That is called bhukti

- Even if he (spirit soul) goes up to the Svargaloka, he will find no permanent abode for his hankering soul. The hankering soul must be satisfied by the perfect scientific process of perfect devotional service
- Even if one is promoted to the higher planetary systems by performing great sacrifices, which are accompanied by the sinful act of sacrificing animals, the standard of happiness in Svargaloka is also not free of disturbances
I

- If you prepare yourself as the karmis do, to be elevated to the higher planetary system - Svargaloka, Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka, Brahmaloka - that is very good
- If you prepare yourself to go to the higher planetary system, Candraloka, Suryaloka, Indraloka, Svargaloka, Brahmaloka, Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka - there are so many, hundreds. If you want to go there, then you prepare in that way
- In the creation, during Brahma's day, the three planetary systems - Svarga, Martya and Patala - revolve, and the inhabitants, including the lower animals, human beings, demigods and Pitas, appear and disappear in terms of their fruitive activities
- In the Gayatri mantra, we chant, om bhur bhuvah svah tat savitur varenyam. Above the Bhuloka planetary system is Bhuvarloka, and above that is Svargaloka, the heavenly planetary system

- One can, however, reach heavenly planets by virtuous activities, but one can never expect to go beyond Svarga or Janaloka by such mechanical or materialistic activities, either gross or subtle
- Outside of the three planetary systems (Svarga, Martya and Patala), the four yugas multiplied by one thousand comprise one day on the planet of Brahma. A similar period comprises a night of Brahma, in which the creator of the universe goes to sleep
S
- Surrounding these planetary systems (the three primary planetary systems - Bhuh, Bhuvah and Svah) are the eight directions, namely east, west, north, south, northeast, southeast, northwest and southwest
- Svargaloka is not so very comfortable. Above the Svargaloka there is Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka, Satyaloka, Brahmaloka, like that, seven lokas. So who will go there
