- A Krsna conscious person does not even want to stop his cycle of birth and death. He simply prays, "I may take birth as You like, but my only prayer is that I may be engaged in Your service" - CC Antya 20.29, Siksastaka 4
- As explained by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu (Siksastaka 1): Glory to the Sri Krsna sankirtana, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years and extinguishes the fire of conditional life, of repeated birth and death
- As stated by Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu in His Siksastaka instructions, by the chanting of the holy name of the Lord - Hare Krsna, or by the process of hearing and chanting of the glories of the Lord, one's mind is gradually cleansed of all dirt

- I have not received the Bengali Bhagavata Darsana yet. We want first class printing - offset method is cheaper and good. You may use Srila Bhaktivinode Thakura's translation of the Siksastakam
- In His Siksastaka, Lord Caitanya describes the progressive benefits of chanting Hare Krsna. First, ceto-darpana-marjanam - CC Antya 20.12
- In His Siksastaka, Lord Caitanya says, param vijayate sri-krsna-sankirtanam: "All glories to the chanting of sri-krsna-sankirtana!" The Hare Krsna maha-mantra - is directly chanted by the Lord Himself, who gives us this mantra for deliverance
- In the Siksastaka, He (Caitanya) prays to the Lord: "O Lord, I do not wish to gain from You any wealth, nor do I wish to have a beautiful wife, nor do I wish to have many followers
- In this prayer (of CC Antya 20.29, Siksastaka 4) the word jagadisa means "Lord of the universe." Jagat means universe, and isa means Lord
S
- Since we are all pledged to work for Krsna we should follow the principle of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu trnad api sunicena taror api sahisnuna. This is Vaisnavism. So my request is do not be agitated. Let us do our duty honestly
- Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu teaches this lesson in His Siksastaka. The devotee is always eager to see the Lord face to face, but if he is brokenhearted because he cannot see the Lord, even life after life, he will never command the Lord to appear
- Sri Sri Siksastakam, 1968 - Glories to the sri-krsna-sankirtana, which cleanses the heart of all the dust accumulated for years together. Thus the fire of conditioned life, of repeated birth and death is extinguished
- Sri Sri Siksastakam, CDV 15 - Lord Caitanya gave us eight stanzas of His mission, what He wanted to do. They are explained in eight stanzas, and they are known as Siksastaka. Siksa means instruction, and astaka means eight

- The characteristic of a Vaisnava and the characteristic of the Lord mentioned in this verse (CC Antya 3.213) are very significant. In His Siksastaka (3) Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu has taught the characteristics of a Vaisnava
- The instruction given in Siksastak, "My Lord, whatever You like You can do, but unconditionally You are my only object of worship." That is pure devotion
- The verse referred to here (in CC Antya 20.62) is text 47, the eighth verse of the Siksastaka
- This (Siksastaka 7) is the perfectional stage of chanting the Hare Krsna mantra and eating the fruit of love of Godhead, as exhibited by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu
