In the philosophy of Kṛṣṇa consciousness, acknowledgement is the foundational step toward spiritual sanity and gratitude. Śrīla Prabhupāda explains that a human being must recognize the source of all maintenance to avoid the status of a thief. By acknowledging the supremacy of the Lord, the authority of the spiritual master, and the sanctity of civilized social orders like marriage, the living entity moves from independent rebellion to a harmonious, peaceful existence under the protection of the Divine.
