- A devotee who is fully in Krsna consciousness, who is not attracted by any other loka, or planet, including Brahmaloka and Sivaloka, is immediately transferred to Krsnaloka (mam eti). That is the highest perfection of life and of the evolutionary process
- A person (who considers the association of Krsna to be the highest perfection of life) does not wish to be elevated to the higher planets such as the moon or sun, or even the highest planet Brahmaloka. He has no attraction for that. BG 1972 purports
- A short life in the land of Bharata-varsa is preferable to a life achieved in Brahmaloka for millions and billions of years because even if one is elevated to Brahmaloka, he must return to repeated birth and death
- Above that (Bhuvarloka) there is Svarloka, there is Janaloka, there is Tapoloka, there is Maharloka, there is Satyaloka, there is Siddhaloka, there is Brahmaloka. What do they know, the modern astronomers? They do not know anything
- Above the human form of life there are demigods, Caranas and Siddhas on up to Brahmaloka, where Lord Brahma lives, and among these demigods there are always different grades of knowledge
- Above the sky is the sun and its orbit. This is the entrance to the heavenly planets. Above the heavenly planets are other planets, up to Brahmaloka, where those advancing in spiritual knowledge reside
- Abrahma-bhuvanal lokah punar avartino 'rjuna (BG 8.16). Abrahma-loka. The highest planetary system, Brahmaloka, he can go. That is also required superior judgment, what he has done for being promoted
- Abrahma-bhuvanal lokah punar avartino 'rjuna: (BG 8.16) aside from the moon, even if one goes to Brahmaloka, one must return
- According to Jiva Gosvami, Vaikuntha is called Brahmaloka
- According to Srila Jiva Gosvami, this Brahmaloka is the loka or abode of Brahman, or the Supreme Lord. In the spiritual sky all the planets are as good as the Lord Himself
- Actual mukti, or liberation, can be attained only by devotional service, because by devotional service one can go above Brahmaloka, or to the spiritual world, wherefrom he never comes back
- Actually, as stated in Bhagavad-gita, one cannot get relief from the chain of birth and death even if he goes to the highest planet, Brahmaloka, because the influence of time is present everywhere within this material world
- After instructing and pacifying all the demigods, as well as Bhumi, with sweet words, Lord Brahma, the father of all Prajapatis, or progenitors of the universal population, departed for his own abode, the highest material planet, called Brahmaloka
- After traveling to all these different planets, he (Arjuna) finally went to Brahmaloka, where even mystic yogis cannot go. By the grace of Lord Krsna, Arjuna had that power, and he went above the heavenly planets to Brahmaloka
- After undergoing severe austerities and penances, they rise up to the Brahmaloka, param padam. Patanty adhah, again falls down, again falls down
- All are but material enjoyments, and one should be thoroughly convinced that he has no need of such a long duration of life, even in the Brahmaloka planet. He must return home, back to Godhead & must not be attracted by any amount of material facilities
- All planets in the material world - beginning from Brahmaloka down to the hellish planets - are unfit places for a devotee. padam padam yad vipadam na tesam. A place where there is danger at every step is certainly not a comfortable place
- All the brothers (Trita, Ekat and Dvita the three sons of Prajapati Gautama) were great sages and strict followers of the principles of religion. By dint of severe penances they were promoted to Brahmaloka
- All the conditioned living entities are evolving within the universe in different planets and different species of life. Thus one may be elevated to Brahmaloka, but then one must again descend to earth
- All the great sages mentioned in this verse (SB 4.29.42-44) have their planets near Brahmaloka, the planet where Lord Brahma resides along with four great sages - Sanaka, Sanatana, Sanandana and Sanat-kumara
- Although life on Brahmaloka is fantastically long compared to life on Earth, it is only a flash in comparison to the eternal life of the nonmaterial worlds
- Although the demons are insignificant in comparison to Lord Brahma, because of the strength of their guru they were so powerful that they could even seize Brahmaloka from Lord Brahma. We therefore pray to the spiritual master
- Although they (impersonalists who come down from the brahmajyoti) may attain Brahmaloka, or Satyaloka, all such planets are situated in the material world
- Annihilation of the material world takes place in two ways. Partial annihilation occurs at the end of every 4,300,000 x 1,000 solar years, or at the end of each day of Brahmaloka, which is the topmost planet in the material world
- Any place where one cannot hear about the Supreme Personality of Godhead from realized souls, even if it be Brahmaloka, is not very congenial to the living entity
- Anyone who can reach Brahmaloka, or Satyaloka, by dint of spiritual perfection and practice is qualified to attain three different types of perfection
- Anywhere you go within this material world, either the moon planet or sun planet or Brahmaloka, Krsna says, abrahma-bhuvanal lokah punar avartino 'rjuna (BG 8.16). Even if you go to the Brahmaloka, that is also not permanent settlement
- Anywhere you go, the threefold miseries of material existence, that will continue. You cannot get free. Even Brahmaloka, the Brahma, he is subjected to die
- As indicated in Bhagavad-gita (BG 8.16), one does not escape material miseries even if he is elevated to Brahmaloka. Similarly, one is not very safe even if he is promoted to Sivaloka, because the planet of Sivaloka is marginal
- As Krsna says in BG (8.16), abrahma-bhuvanal lokah punar avartino'rjuna: as long as one is within this material world, either on Brahmaloka or on any other loka within this universe, one must undergo the kala-cakra of one life after another - BG 8.19
- As persons on earth are elevated to higher planets, people in higher planets such as Brahmaloka, Candraloka and Indraloka fall down to earth. BG 1972 purports
- As the impersonalist jnanis or the demons killed by the Lord attain Brahmaloka, or Satyaloka, persons killed by a devotee of the Lord also attain Satyaloka
- As the residents of the upper three planetary systems offered their prayers to the Lord, it is understood that His body expanded throughout the sky, beginning from the topmost planet, Brahmaloka, or Satyaloka
- As Vamanadeva, the Lord was so powerful that simply by stepping forward He covered the whole universe from Brahmaloka down to Patalaloka
- At heart Dhruva Maharaja wanted a kingdom that would be far better than Brahmaloka. This was a natural desire for a ksatriya
- At the present moment so-called advanced civilized men are trying to go to other planets, but they do not know that even if they go to the highest planetary system, Brahmaloka, they have to come back again to this planet
- At the time of dissolution, Lord Brahma, along with all the inhabitants of Brahmaloka, goes directly to the spiritual world. This is confirmed in the Vedas
- Attached persons do not know that even if one goes to the highest planet, Brahmaloka, destruction exists there also. In Bhagavad-gita the Lord says that one can even go to Brahmaloka, but still he will find the pangs of birth, death, disease and old age
- Avyakta means the night of Brahma, when partial annihilation takes place and the living entities of that particular brahmanda, up to the planets of Brahmaloka, along with the big oceans, etc., all repose in the belly of the virat-purusa
B
- Because of the existence of the mind and intelligence on Brahmaloka, its residents have feelings of happiness and distress, but there is no cause of lamentation from old age, death, fear or distress
- Because of their exalted position, those who are on Brahmaloka at the time of dissolution go directly back home, back to Godhead, along with Lord Brahma
- Because of this opportunity, the inhabitants of Bharata-varsa are praised even in the heavenly planets. Even in the topmost planet of this universe, Brahmaloka, the position of Bharata-varsa is discussed with great relish
- Because these living entities do not wish to keep their individual existences, they are combined and allowed to remain in Brahmaloka like so many atomic particles of sunshine emanating from the sun
- Before reaching there (the residential planet of God), the mystic passes over the Milky Way to reach Brahmaloka, and while going there he first reaches Vaisvanara-loka, where the demigod controls fire
- Beginning from Satyaloka, the topmost planet of the universe, situated just below the eternal Brahmaloka, as described above (SB 2.5.40-41), all the planets are material
- Being thus deputed, the great sage Bhrgu Muni first of all went to his father’s residence in Brahmaloka. The three deities are the controllers of the three material qualities, namely the qualities of goodness, passion and ignorance
- Below Vaikunthaloka is the material universe, where Lord Brahma and others in Brahmaloka can live until the annihilation of this universe; but that life is not permanent
- Better that you travel on this planet and serve Krishna. We don't care for such moon travel. Rather after this life we want to travel to Krishna. If even we go to Brahmaloka, the topmost planet, still we have to come down
- Between the two creations - the material creation and the spiritual creation - is a river known as Viraja, as well as a place known as Brahmaloka. Viraja-nadi and Brahmaloka are shelters for living entities disgusted with material life
- Beyond Brahmaloka is the spiritual sky, and in that spiritual sky there are innumerable Vaikunthalokas
- Beyond the urdhva-loka planets, that is to say above the Brahmaloka, are the material coverings of the universes & above that is the spiritual sky, which is unlimited in expansion, containing unlimited self-illuminated Vaikuntha planets inhabited by God
- Brahma, the master of this universe, after offering humble & respectful obeisances unto the SP of God & circumambulating Him three times, was ready to return to his abode, known as Brahmaloka. By His gesture, the SP of God gave him permission to return
- Brahma-bhuta living entities are allowed to stay in Brahmaloka or Siddhaloka, but unfortunately they sometimes again fall into the material world because they are not engaged in devotional service
- Brahmaloka and Viraja-nadi are also attained after difficult austerities, but in these realms there is no understanding of the Supreme Personality of Godhead and His transcendental loving service
- Brahmaloka mean where the topmost planet. They have calculated, the modern astronomers and the planet-goers, that it takes about forty thousands of years to go to the topmost planet of this universe. So these things are there
- Brahmaloka or Siddhaloka is a place where many sparklike living entities, parts and parcels of the Supreme Lord, are assembled
- Brahmaloka, or the highest planetary system, where Brahma lives, is considered to be the head of the Lord
- By following that path, one is certainly elevated gradually to the highest planetary system, Brahmaloka, from which one is promoted to the spiritual world along with Lord Brahma. Thus one's repetition of birth and death in the material world ceases
- By perfecting their yogic practice, yogis can reach the highest planet, Brahmaloka, or Satyaloka, and after giving up their material bodies, they can enter into the body of Lord Brahma
C
- Comfortable life means thousands and thousands of better conditions of life than on this planet. You go to the moon planet, sun planet, Mahar-loka, Jana-loka, Tapa-loka, Siddha loka, Brahma-loka - there is so many. So you can elevate there also
- Conditioned souls are strictly under the laws of fruitive activities, and as such they sometimes go up to Brahmaloka and again come down to Patalaloka, as if they were unintelligent children on a merry-go-round
D
- Despite this long duration (4,300,000 x 1,000 x 2 x 30 x 12 x 100 solar years), however, Brahmaloka is subject to destruction
- Devotees (who always think favorably of Krsna as their master or friend) must attain a situation better than Brahmaloka, the impersonal bodily effulgence of Krsna
- During that time of partial annihilation, the topmost planets such as Brahmaloka are not annihilated
- Durvasa Muni went back to Brahmaloka through the spaceways, he did not need an airplane, for great mystic yogis can transport themselves from any planet to any other without any machine
- Durvasa Muni's purpose in going to Brahmaloka was apparently to speak to the residents of Brahmaloka about how powerful a devotee is and how a devotee can surpass every living entity within this material world
E
- Either you become Rockefeller or Ford in this life, and next life the king of moon planet or sun planet or in any way, up to the Brahmaloka, Lord Brahma, Krsna says, still, you have to die, either come down or remain there - there will be change of body
- Either you go to Brahmaloka or Patalaloka or any loka, this form or that body, you will have to go through these four principles of material condition: birth, death, old age and disease. That is not possible to overcome
- Elephant has got a particular type of body, and it has got its standard of living. Similarly, there are higher beings also, in the higher planetary system. They are called Svargaloka, Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka, Brahmaloka
- Elevated sannyasis are promoted to Brahma's particular planet, Brahmaloka, which is the highest planet in the material universe and which survives all the heavenly planets in the upper strata of the planetary system. BG 1972 purports
- Even after traveling all over the universe, from Brahmaloka to Patalaloka, one cannot escape the attack of birth, death, disease and old age. But one who enters the kingdom of God, the Lord says, is never again obliged to come to the material world
- Even from material prosperity, if one is situated in the modes of goodness, then he can be elevated to the higher planetary system - Svargaloka, Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka, Brahmaloka, Satyaloka
- Even if one goes to Brahmaloka, the highest planet in the material atmosphere, one is not actually perfectly situated. There is really no benefit because even on Brahmaloka the four miseries of material existence are found: birth, old age, disease & death
- Even if one goes to the highest planet, Brahmaloka, he has to return to the miseries of birth and death
- Even if one is promoted to Brahmaloka, if one is not freed from material bondage one must return to this planet earth and continue in the miserable condition of material existence
- Even if one is promoted to Brahmaloka, if one is not freed from material bondage one must return to this planet earth and continue in the miserable condition of material existence (bhutva bhutva praliyate) - BG 8.19
- Even if one is promoted to Brahmaloka, the highest planet in the universe, he has to come down again to the lower planetary systems. Thus he is wandering up and down perpetually, under the influence of the three modes of material nature
- Even if we are promoted to the highest planet, Brahmaloka, the planet where Lord Brahma lives, our situation there is still not eternal. So why should a devotee be interested in such a place
- Even if we go to Brahmaloka, the highest planet, through some sort of mechanical contrivance by maybe traveling for forty thousand years, we will still find the material inconveniences of birth, death, disease and old age. BG 1972 Introduction
- Even if you go to the Brahmaloka, where one twelve hours means thousands of four yugas, but still there is death. So we cannot avoid this
- Even if you go to the highest planetary system, Brahmaloka, then there also punar avartinah, means the four principles of material existence, namely birth, death, old age and disease, they will accompany you
- Even if you go to the highest planetary system, Brahmaloka, then there also punar avartinah, means the four principles of material existence, namely birth, death, old age and disease, they will accompany you. Wherever you go
- Even in the higher planetary systems near Brahmaloka, like Maharloka, Janaloka and Tapoloka, the festival of glorification of Lord Krsna was going on
- Even on Brahmaloka, the highest planet in the material universe, repetition of birth and death are also present. We have to go to Krsna's planet in order to be free from this
- Even the happiness obtained on the planet Brahmaloka is also temporary and illusory
- Even the highest planetary system, Brahmaloka, may be reached, but scientists say that it will take forty thousand years at sputnik speed. Who is prepared to travel in space for forty thousand years?
- Even your life in the Brahmaloka, that is stated in the Bhagavad-gita, so many millions of years you can live there, but it is also temporary
F
- For a devotee like Maharaja Pariksit, none of the material planets, even the topmost Brahmaloka, is as desirable as Goloka Vrndavana, the abode of Lord Sri Krsna, the primeval Lord and original Personality of Godhead
- From Bhagavad-gita we can understand that even if we enter Brahmaloka, the highest planetary system of this universe, the four principles of misery will be present
- From the Bhagavad-gita we learn that on the Brahmaloka planet the duration of one day is calculated to be 4,300,000 x 1,000 solar years
H
- He (Angirasa) could travel in space, and therefore he could present himself even in the planets of Brahmaloka and Indraloka. He advised the King of heaven, Indra, about conquering the demons. Once he cursed Indra, who thus had to become a hog on the earth
- He (King Kulasekhara) fully understands the statement in the Bhagavad-gita that from the lowest planets up to Brahmaloka, the highest planet in the universe, there is no spiritual bliss, which the living beings hanker for
- Here (in SB 10.12.35) the word anti means - near, indicating that even in the higher planetary systems near Brahmaloka, like Maharloka, Janaloka and Tapoloka, the festival of glorification of Lord Krsna was going on
- Here the jnanis have got a very nice body, brahminical body, pure, cleansed and beautiful, knowledge. The higher development, they can go still up, Maharloka, Janaloka, Tapoloka, Satyaloka, Siddhaloka, Brahmaloka
- Higher planetary system begins from the sun, moon, and there are others, Janaloka, Tapoloka, Maharloka, like that, up to Satyaloka, Brahmaloka. So this is the chance
- Higher planets, such as Maharloka, Tapoloka, Satyaloka and Brahmaloka, do not dissolve in the devastating water. This is because of the causeless devotional service rendered unto the Lord by their inhabitants
- Hiranyakasipu wanted to gain all the yogic perfections like anima and laghima, to be deathless, and to be the only king of the entire universe, including Brahmaloka
- His (Brahma's) abode is called tri-dhama-paramam. There are three divisions of the universe - the upper planetary system, the middle planetary system and the lower planetary system - but his abode is above even Siddhaloka
- Hunger can be satisfied only when the living being is situated in immortality, which is attained in the spiritual sky, far, far above the Brahmaloka, in the association of Lord Mukunda, who awards His devotees the transcendental pleasure of liberation
I
- If we are pious, then we are promoted to the higher planetary system, Svargaloka, Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka, Brahmaloka, Satyaloka. There are so many
- If you act like a brahmana, then get your promotion to the higher planetary system, Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka, Brahmaloka, Siddhaloka. There are so many planets. The people do not know. There is no such education
- If you associate with the modes of goodness, then you are promoted to the higher planetary system, beyond heavenly planets: Janaloka, Tapoloka, Maharloka, Satyaloka, Siddhaloka, Brahmaloka. So that is possible
- If you prepare yourself as the karmis do, to be elevated to the higher planetary system - Svargaloka, Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka, Brahmaloka - that is very good
- If you prepare yourself to go to the higher planetary system, Candraloka, Suryaloka, Indraloka, Svargaloka, Brahmaloka, Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka - there are so many, hundreds. If you want to go there, then you prepare in that way
- In addition to there being no influence of time, the planets in, Brahmaloka, due to being spiritual, are never annihilated
- In BG (8.16) it is clearly stated, abrahma-bhuvanal lokah punar avartino 'rjuna: "My dear Arjuna, even if you go to the highest planetary system, which is called Brahmaloka, you will have to come back." Therefore, interplanetary travel is not new
- In Bhagavad-gita the duration of one day in years multiplied by 1,000. And the month and year in Brahmaloka are calculated in that measure
- In Brahmaloka everyone is self-realized
- In Brahmaloka there is an unlimited number of airplanes that are controlled not by yantra (machine) but by mantra (psychic action)
- In Brahmaloka, everyone is self-realized, and thus there is no need of philosophical speculation to come to the conclusion of the Absolute Truth
- In due course Brahma and all inhabitants of Brahmaloka are subject to death, according to the law of material nature. BG 1972 purports
- In His incarnation as Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Lord Sri Krsna descended to deliver all the living beings in the three worlds, from Brahmaloka down to Patalaloka
- In order to go to the spiritual world after penetrating the covering of the material universe, one must penetrate Brahma-loka, the spiritual effulgence. Then one can come to the Goloka Vrndavana planet
- In others' opinion (some say Brahmavarta is in Kuruksetra), Brahmavarta is a place in Brahmaloka, where Svayambhuva ruled
- In Siddhaloka (Brahmaloka) there live two kinds of living entities - those who are killed by the SP of Godhead due to their having been demons in their previous lives and those who are very fond of enjoying the impersonal effulgence of the Lord
- In the Bhagavad-gita (BG 8.16) it is said by the Lord that even in the topmost planet of the universe, namely the Brahmaloka, where the duration of life is multiplied by millions of years by earth calculation, one cannot satisfy his hunger
- In the Bhagavad-gita (BG 8.16) the Lord says that even if one goes up to Brahmaloka, he again comes back (abrahma-bhuvanal lokah punar avartino 'rjuna)
- In the Bhagavad-gita Krsna says that by pious activities one can elevate oneself to the highest material planet, known as Brahmaloka, where the duration of life is millions and millions of years
- In the material sky, even if we approach the highest planet (Brahmaloka), we will find the same conditions of life, namely birth, death, disease and old age. BG 1972 Introduction
- In the material world the topmost planet is called Satyaloka, or Brahmaloka. Beings of the greatest talents live on this planet. The presiding deity of Brahmaloka is Brahma, the first created being of this material world
- In the material world, even by attaining the topmost planet (Brahmaloka), one cannot get rid of the conditions of repeated birth and death, but still we do not accept the path of attaining perfection
- In the material world, even if you promote to the highest planetary system, Brahmaloka, still, you'll have to come back again
- In the spiritual world, Krsna and His devotees are friends, and they play together as cowherd boys. They are not interested in Brahmaloka or Candraloka, for these planets will ultimately be annihilated
- In this way a living entity becomes devoid of his real intelligence and becomes perpetually lost in the cycle of birth and death. Thus he goes up and down from a microbe in stool to a high position in the Brahmaloka planet
- It (Brahmaloka) is compared to the glow of the sun. Within the sun’s glow is the sphere of the sun, where one can experience all sorts of varieties
- It (living in the Brahmaloka) may be millions of years; that is also limited, because within the time eternal, some millions of years, that is also temporary; some hundreds of years, that is also temporary. So everything here, temporary
- It (the bhakti-lata-bija) attains brahma-loka, the Brahman effulgence, and penetrating through that stratum, it reaches the spiritual sky and the spiritual planet Goloka Vrndavana
- It appears that Brahmaloka, the abode of Lord Brahma, is also transcendental, above the three modes of material nature - apavrtam
- It is said that Yajnavalkya described the transcendental abode of the Lord to Gargi, and that the abode of the Lord is situated above the highest planet of the universe, namely Brahmaloka
- It is stated there (Mrtyunjaya-tantra) that the highest planetary system within the material world is Satyaloka, or Brahmaloka, beyond which are Rudraloka and Maha-Visnuloka
K
- Krsna points out that even if one enters into the highest planet of all, called Brahmaloka, there is still repetition of birth and death. Other planets in the universe are full of living entities
- Krsna says, even if you go to the Brahmaloka, that is also not security that you get rid of the four principles of material life, birth, death, old age and disease. A-brahma-bhuvanal lokah punar avartino 'rjuna. Again coming down
L
- Life on such a planet (Brahmaloka) is indeed long, yet even after trillions of years, the inhabitants of Brahmaloka have to face death. Unless we go to the spiritual planets, there is no escape from death
- Lord Brahma lives for one hundred years according to time on the Brahmaloka planet, but one day of Brahma is equal to millions of years on this planet. Similarly, the days on the heavenly planets are equal to six months on this planet
- Lord Brahma lives in the highest planetary system, known as Brahmaloka or Satyaloka. In every planet there is a predominating deity
- Lord Brahma's abode. the highest planetary system, is called Satyaloka or sometimes Brahmaloka. Brahmaloka refers to the spiritual world. The abode of Lord Brahma is Satyaloka, but because Lord Brahma resides there, it is also sometimes called Brahmaloka
- Lord Brahma's duration of life is so long that it is difficult to estimate even the duration of one day in his life, and yet Lord Brahma also dies, as do the residents of his planet
- Lord Brahma, who is situated in the highest planetary system (Brahmaloka), has to die. Lord Brahma's birth & death may be different from an ordinary man's, but within this material world he cannot avoid the distresses of birth, old age, disease and death
- Lord Krsna, in the Bhagavad-gita, also informs us that this material world is full of miseries in the shape of birth, old age, disease and death. Even in the topmost planet of the material universe, Brahmaloka, these miseries are present
M
- Material scientists are attempting to go to the moon and other planets, but they cannot imagine going to the topmost planet, Brahmaloka, for it is beyond their imagination
- Miseries and mixed happiness are two features of material life, and they are obtained in Brahmaloka and in other lokas also. They are obtained in the life of the demigods and also in the life of the dogs and hogs
N
- Naked saints and sannyasis who undergo severe physical penances, who can raise the semen to the brain, and who are completely equipoised in Brahman can live in the realm known as Brahmaloka
- Narada spoke as follows: "First I may inform You (Krsna) that King Yudhisthira has all material opulences which are possible to achieve in the highest planetary system, Brahmaloka"
- Narada spoke as follows: "King Yudhisthira is so opulent that he has attained all the opulences of Brahmaloka even on this earthly planet"
- Not to speak of going to the moon, even if one is promoted to the highest planetary system, Brahmaloka, there cannot be any happiness in this material world
- Now we are living in the Bhurloka, middle. Then above this, there is Bhuvarloka. Above this, there is Svarloka. Above this is Janaloka, Maharloka, Tapoloka, Brahmaloka
O
- O King, if a yogi maintains a desire for improved material enjoyments, like transference to the topmost planet, Brahmaloka, or the achievement of the eightfold perfections, then he has to take away with him the materially molded mind and senses
- O King, when such a mystic passes over the Milky Way by the illuminating Susumna to reach the highest planet, Brahmaloka, he goes first to Vaisvanara, the planet of the deity of fire, wherein he becomes completely cleansed of all contaminations
- On the other side of Brahmaloka is the spiritual karana-samudra, or Causal Ocean. The material energy exists on the other side of the Causal Ocean, without touching it
- On this planet (Vaisvanara), which is situated on the way to Brahmaloka, the topmost planet in the universe, such an advanced materialist can free himself from all traces of vice and its effects
- On this platform (of the causal ocean), a living entity is completely free from material entanglement. For the jnanis who want to merge into the Brahman effulgence, there is Brahma-loka
- On Vaisvanara-loka the yogi becomes completely cleansed of all dirty sins acquired while in contact with the material world. The Milky Way in the sky is indicated herein (SB 2.2.24) as the way leading to Brahmaloka, the highest planet of the universe
- One can get complete liberation from all the above-mentioned material pangs when one enters into the eternal Brahmaloka sanatana atmosphere, the kingdom of God
- One in goodness attains higher planetary systems, like Brahmaloka or Janaloka, and there enjoys godly happiness. BG 1972 purports
- One may elevate himself to the higher planetary systems, even up to Brahmaloka, by dint of pious activities, but when the effects of such pious activities are finished, one again comes back to this earth to begin a new life of activities
- One may rise to the Brahma effulgence, but because there is no shelter there one will return to the material atmosphere. One may go to Brahmaloka, the highest planet in the material sky, but one's position there is temporary
- One may think of Brahmaloka as the top of Krsna's skull, and one may think of the Patalaloka planetary system as the soles of Krsna's feet. Thus one may think of Krsna as greater than the greatest - mahato mahiyan
- One should always keep this understanding in mind (even if one is promoted to Brahmaloka, if one is not freed from material bondage one must return to this planet earth) so as not to be allured by any kind of sense enjoyment, in this life or in the next
- One should not endeavor to wander to different planetary systems within this universe, for even if one goes to the topmost planetary system, Brahmaloka, one must return again
- One sometimes, after practicing much severe austerities and penances, he can approach the Brahman, param padam, that is Brahman realization, or Brahmaloka. Patanty adhah. But from there also you will fall down
- One who attains the place (Brahmaloka) by dint of devotional service is specifically mentioned here (in SB 2.2.28), in relation to how he can penetrate into the different coverings of the universe
- One who attains the place (Satyaloka or Brahmaloka) by dint of devotional service can penetrate into the different coverings of the universe and thus ultimately disclose his spiritual identity in the absolute atmosphere of supreme existence
- One who experiences the fragrance of the lotus feet of Lord Krsna does not value even the standard of happiness available in Brahmaloka, the topmost planet. And what to speak of heavenly happiness
- One who has attained the place (Brahmaloka) by dint of virat or Hiranyagarbha worship is liberated along with the liberation of Brahma
