- A small child, he's clapping. Why? "Hey Krsna." So anyway, everyone is remembering always Krsna. Keeping Krsna consciousness. Even a child here is the highest yogi. It is not our boastfulness. It is stated in authorized scripture like Bhagavad-gita
- A Vaisnava, or worshiper of Lord Visnu, gradually becomes poorer in material possessions because God does not trick His devotees into becoming materially entangled by possessions. Visnu gives His devotees intelligence from within, as Bhagavad-gita says

- According to the statement of the Bhagavad-gita (BG 9.25), persons trying to qualify themselves for promotion to the higher, heavenly planets can go there

- All Vedic knowledge is meant for understanding the Supreme Lord, as stated by the Lord in Bhagavad-gita (BG 15.15): vedais ca sarvair aham eva vedyah
- Although a pure devotee does not seek benedictions from the Supreme Lord for material advancement, it is stated in Bhagavad-gita that pious persons go to the Lord even for material benedictions

- Although my bodies have changed so many times, I am cognizant; I know that I had such-and-such body. Tatha dehantara-praptih: to transmigrate from one body to another. This is the authoritative statement of Bhagavad-gita

- Another name of Vasudeva is Yajna (sacrifice), and in the Bhagavad-gita it is clearly stated that all sacrifices and all activities are to be conducted for the satisfaction of Yajna, or Visnu, the SPG. This is the case also with the yoga systems
- Answer (for what is next after civilized form of life) is there in the Vedic literature that there is higher planetary system. We can see at night, there are so many millions and millions of planets. So we can go there. That is stated in the Bhagavad-gita

- As clearly said in Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.4), bhinna prakrtir astadha: the material elements are separated energies of the Supreme Lord. If He transforms Himself into the arca-murti, the worshipable Deity, which we see as stone or wood, He is still Krsna

- As it is stated in the Eleventh Chapter (of BG), only by devotional service can one understand (Krsna). The same is confirmed here (in BG 18.55); one can understand the SP of Godhead by devotional service and enter into His kingdom. BG 1972 purports
- As it will be seen, actual devotional service begins after liberation. So in Bhagavad-gita it is said, brahma-bhuta. After being liberated, or being situated in the Brahman position, one's devotional service begins. BG 1972 purports
- As Krsna says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 14.26): One who engages in full devotional service, who does not fall down in any circumstance, at once transcends the modes of material nature and thus comes to the level of Brahman
- As long as it (money) is in one's hand, it is better to spend it for a good purpose. If one spends it for bad purposes, he becomes entangled, but if he spends it for good purposes, he gets good in return. This is very clearly stated in Bhagavad-gita

- As Lord Krsna states in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 18.55). One can understand Me as I am, as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, only by devotional service. And when one is in full consciousness of Me by such devotion, he can enter into the kingdom of God

- They are rascals, asurim, atheists, all their hopes will be frustrated. This is stated (in Bhagavad-gita 9:12). And that is being done. They are making so big, big plan; now it is going to be frustrated
- This (Krsna is everything) enlightenment is attained by the great mahatmas or devotees, as it is stated in Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.19) that Vasudeva is all in all in everything and that there is no existence of anything without Vasudeva
- This (SB 7.7.18) is a very important verse in understanding the difference between the spiritual soul and the material body. The soul is eternal, as stated in Bhagavad-gita - BG 2.20
- This apasmrtih (forgetfulness of one's own identity) can be controlled by the Supreme Lord, for the Lord says, mattah smrtir jnanam apohanam ca: (BG 15.15) "From Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness"
- This bodily possession, whatever I possessed in this body, as soon as I die, I give up this body, then everything is finished with the body. Therefore in Bhagavad-gita it is said - I am death, and I, as death, I take away everything of every person
- This cause (of being subjected to the control of material nature) is distinctly stated in Bhagavad-gita (7.14): because one has not surrendered to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, he must work under the control of material nature & its stringent laws
- This covering is simply something like a hallucination or a dream. In Bhagavad-gita (BG 2.62) it is also said, sangat sanjayate kamah. Simply by association we create artificial material necessities. Dhyayato visayan pumsah sangas tesupajayate
- This entire material exhibition - its creation, its growth, its maintenance and its dissolution - is an emanation from the Supreme Person. In Bhagavad-gita also, the Lord says, "I am the beginning, the source of birth of everything

- This invention of atomic bomb, certainly it requires good brain. But Bhagavad-gita says that this genius, or this brain, intelligence, has been wrongly used
- This is an example of a less intelligent person worshiping a material thing. In the BG it is stated, less intelligent persons, in order to get immediate results from their fruitive activities, worship the demigods created within this universe
- This is confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita and Srimad-Bhagavatam, as well as in the Vedas, wherein it is stated, eko narayana asit, "Only Narayana existed before the creation"
- This is stated in Bhagavad-gita (9.34): Engage your mind always in thinking of Me and become My devotee. Offer obeisances and worship Me. Being completely absorbed in Me, surely you will come to Me
- This is stated in Bhagavad-gita: man-mana bhava mad-bhaktah (BG 9.34). Krsna wants everyone always to think of Him. Everyone should always offer obeisances to Krsna. This is the will of the Supreme Lord, and devotees should try to fulfill His desire
- This is stated in the Bhagavad-gita. Only by the grace of the Lord can the living entity understand the exact position of Brahman, Paramatma and Bhagavan
- This is the nature of lusty desires (SB 9.18.39). In Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.20) it is said, kamais tais tair hrta jnanah: when one is too attached to sense gratification, he actually loses his sense. The word hrta jnanah refers to one who has lost his sense
- This is the position of the preacher, that you simply repeat, like a parrot. No qualification. You simply . . . Whatever is said in the Bhagavad-gita, you repeat. And the others, simply hear

- This verse (SB 3.19.31) confirms the statement in Bhagavad-gita that the Lord appears as He is from His transcendental abode for the sake of killing the miscreants and saving the devotees
- This verse gives evidence confirming the statement of Bhagavad-gita that the orders of society - brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya and sudra - are calculated in terms of qualities and activities - guna-karma-vibhagasah - BG 4.13

- Thus the Bhagavad-gita also states again and again that the Absolute Truth always possesses inconceivable power
- To change the consciousness from ignorance to passion or from passion to goodness does not really solve the problem. As stated in Bhagavad-gita (BG 14.26), sa gunan samatityaitan brahma-bhuyaya kalpate
- Two sections of transcendental knowledge in devotional service become revealed to a person surrendered unto Vasudeva; as it is said in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.19), such a great soul, fully surrendered unto the lotus feet of Vasudeva, is very, very rare
U
