- If you inquire from our students carefully, you will come to understand that these superficial matters are not very serious in the long run & that the students are becoming very happy by their acquiring spiritual knowledge & serving Krsna in so many ways
- If you sit down and write some article on Krsna, that means you have to concentrate on Krsna's activities, & that very process will purify your heart. Therefore we always recommend to our students that you write articles, read our magazine, read our book
- If you still cannot understand what is my instruction, then how can I help you? New students may say like that. You are intelligent, educated, old student. If you say...
- If you talk to whatever small number of followers I have, you will find that they talk better than any great philosopher, better than any scientist or politician. That is the quality of my students. What's the point in talking nonsense?
- In America, my students, these boys and girls, they have been known as "Hare Krsna People," "bright-faced people." You can compare their face with others, how they are feeling happy and blissful. That's a fact. It is not a story

- Mayavadi sannyasis are very proud of their Sanskrit education. Sometimes people ask our students, "Whether you have learned Sanskrit?" Krsna consciousness understanding does not depend on Sanskrit scholarship. That is the teaching of Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- Modern education is teaching lowest of the mankind. And if some of the students are taught to become highest of the mankind, their guardians become disturbed: "Oh, my son is going to be highest of the mankind? Swamiji, you are playing dangerous things"
- Most of my students are coming from the Christian and Jewish groups but because they agreed to follow our principles there was no difficulty to organize the society. Similarly Mohammedan or anyone else who has no objection to our principles is welcome
- My blessings are there for all of my sincere students
- My business is to chant the name of the Lord. So they (my students who are having spiritual names) are giving me chance to utter the name of the Lord

- Now any of my students, you ask them to change his position from Krsna consciousness to something else. I don't think they will agree. They are not fools; they are all qualified, educated. They are firmly convinced about Krsna consciousness

- Rupa Goswami says that enthusiasm, patience, conviction, acting exactly to the order of the Sastra & Guru, & always keeping oneself in the society of devotees, & this makes our devotional service successful. Our serious students should follow his advice

- Serious students of this Krsna consciousness movement must understand their great responsibility to preach the cult of Vrndavana (devotional service to the Lord) all over the world
- Similarly, I came in New York, in 1965, in the same position, and gradually many students like you have come to me. So don't be disappointed. Do and try your best and Krishna will give you all help
- So especially you must encourage the students to read our books throughout the day as much as possible, and give them all good advice how to understand the books, and inspire them to study the things from every point of view

- Sometimes we find that our Western students fail to chant even these sixteen rounds, and instead they bring many austere books and a worshiping method that diverts their attention in so many ways
- Sometimes we give instructions to our students about the bodily features of the Lord, and they paint Him. Their paintings are not imaginary. The description is given through disciplic succession, just like that given by Narada Muni

- These brahmacaris, they voluntarily change. Otherwise there are many students, just like we have got two, three students, they are working. They come like ordinary American gentlemen. There is no objection in that way. Dress is not very important thing
- These devotees, they are not interested at all. The cinema is here, a few steps away, but you will never see a student or a disciple of Krsna consciousness will go to that nonsense place

- They (our boys and girls) were living very irresponsibly in the former life. Now they are preaching this Krsna consciousness movement. Some of my students, they are married couples, young men
- This institute, Krsna consciousness movement has spread because the students who have joined us, they have given aural reception, by hearing
- This is the greatest service that you are all rendering in the matter of spreading Krsna Consciousness and Krsna and Caitanya Mahaprabhu will certainly bless you all my sincere students more and more in Krsna Consciousness

- Unless all of my students become very much fixed up in their spiritual progress, what is the use of so many programs for expansion?

- We are also giving our student position as brahmana, but if he remains a fool number one, then we are misusing our attempt. He should be very learned scholar. That should be the aim
- We are educating our students to practice how to revive his old . . . the eternal constitutional position to serve the Lord. This is our practice
- We are introducing this tapasya in nutshell. We are asking our students four principles, four regulative principles. No illicit sex life. Beyond marriage life, there is no sex. No intoxication, up to smoking and drinking tea. No meat-eating. No gambling
- We are not magician, but we ask our students "Simply you chant this transcendental vibration," and he becomes gradually cleansed of all dirty things within the heart. This is our process

- We initiate our students. The preliminary initiation is offering chanting. Then we observe at least for one year, how he is chanting, how he is doing. Then the second initiation confirms. That is the system
