- Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya specially requested Caitanya that, I neglected this person, Ramananda Raya. He was talking with me about spiritual subject matter, very highly elevated, and that I thought that he was a sentimentalist, so I neglected him
- Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya suggested, "On that Ratha-yatra festival day, after dancing before the Lord, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu will enter the Gundica garden. At that time you (King Prataparudra) should go there alone, without your royal dress"
- Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya then composed two verses on the leaf of a palm tree. Giving the palm leaf to Jagadananda Prabhu, the Bhattacarya requested him to deliver it to Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu

- The Bhattacarya noticed Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu outside, and with great haste he went to Him and offered prayers unto His lotus feet

- Upon becoming a student of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya wrote one hundred verses praising Him. Two of those verses are mentioned in the Caitanya-caritamrta
- Upon receiving Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's order, Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya and Pandita Gosani brought sufficient prasadam from the temple of Jagannatha. The Lord then dined with everyone at His own place

- When Lord Caitanya met Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya at Jagannatha Puri, Bhattacarya, being the greatest logician of the day, also wanted to teach the Lord Vedanta
