- According to our Vedic information, the sky which you are seeing, this is the sky of one of the universes. And there are millions of universes. We get this information from Vedic literature, Brahma-samhita: yasya prabha prabhavato jagad-anda-koti
- After creating millions of universes, the first purusa entered into each of them in a separate form, as Sri Garbhodakasayi
- All the so-called stars are but different planets. Besides this universe, there are many millions of other universes, and each of them contains similar innumerable stars and planets
- Although we are seeing only one universe, there are millions of universes, and Krsna is supporting all these millions of universes with a single fragment of Himself
- Another devotee once said, "This Supreme Personality of Godhead from whose bodily pores come millions of universes, permanently rising, who is the ocean of mercy, who is the owner of inconceivable energies"
- As far as we can conceive, the space which contains the universe is the greatest, but Krsna has shown millions of universes in His mouth. The greatness of God cannot be comprehended by the living entities, who are part and parcel of God
E
- Even Lord Maha-visnu, who by His breathing creates many millions upon millions of universes, is Lord Krsna's kala-visesa, or plenary portion of a plenary portion
- Even the Brahmas, of which there are millions in different universes, are all liable to death either today or tomorrow. Therefore the entire material universe is called Martyaloka, the place of death
I
- "I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, endowed with great power. The glowing effulgence of His transcendental form is impersonal Brahman,i.e, absolute, complete, unlimited & displays varieties of countless planets, in millions of universes."
- If for a small government, three bighas of land, you require a personal governor, and such a huge government, millions and millions of universes, how the governor, the Supreme Person, supreme executive, shall not be a person? What is the reason
- Imagine what insignificant this vasudha (planet) in comparison to the whole material world. There are millions of universes, and in each and every universe there are millions and trillions of the stars and planets
- In Brahma-samhita it is stated, yasyaika-nisvasita-kalam athavalambya jivanti loma-vila-ja jagad-anda-nathah: many millions of universes come out of God's body when He exhales, and they again disappear when He inhales
- In his prayers, Citraketu said that millions of universes rest in the pores of Sankarsana, who is limitless, having no beginning and end
- In that effulgence (of Krsna) there are millions of universes, but yogis and jnanis cannot enter that effulgence even after many, many years of austerities, whereas bhaktas can capture Krsna simply by love and affection
- In the millions and millions of universes there are innumerable planets, and each and every one of them is different from the others by its cosmic constitution
- It is said that God is great, but we do not actually realize how great God is. He is so great that millions of universes are emanating from the pores of His body
J
- Jagad-anda means this universe and there are hundreds and millions. Numberless. And each universe is filled up with innumerable planets. Yasya prabha prabhavato jagad-anda-koti-kotisv asesa-vasudhadi-vibhuti-bhinnam
- Just as innumerable atomic infinitesimal fragments pass through the holes of a screened window, so millions and trillions of universes in their seedling form are coming out from the bodily pores of Maha-Visnu
K
- Kala-visesah means part, part of the part, kala. Amsa, and amsa's amsa, that's called kala-viseso. So that kala-visesa, Krsna, Maha-Visnu, He's creating millions and millions of universes. So just imagine what is the creative power of Krsna
- Krsna is always complete, and although He can create millions of universes, all of them full in all opulences, He remains as opulent as ever, without any change (advaitam)
- Krsna, as Garbhodakasayi Visnu, is within the gigantic universe, and He is lying in the Causal Ocean as Maha-Visnu, in a body so gigantic that when He exhales, millions and trillions of universes emanate from His body
M
- Maha-visnu lies on the Causal Ocean, and when He exhales, millions of brahmandas, or universes, come from the pores of His body. Then, when Maha-visnu inhales, all these brahmandas disappear
- Maha-visnu, from whose breathing millions of universes emanate and into whom they are again withdrawn, may be accepted as the Lord of the universe
- Millions of universes emanate from the breathing of the Maha-Visnu. In the Tenth Chapter of Bhagavad-gita (BG 10.42), Krsna gives Arjuna some indication of His infinite glory, and He concludes His descriptions with the following statement
N
- No, God is not so cheap. God has multienergies, and one of these energies is Durga. It is not that she is all and all, for there are many millions of Durgas, just as there are many millions of Sivas and millions of universes
- Not that Durga is all in all. There are many millions of Durgas, many millions of Sivas, because there are many millions of universes. Just like many millions of police force, similarly, these demigods, there are many, many millions. But God is one
S
- Simply by His (God's) breathing, millions of universes are created and dissolved. If this is the case, then how can the living entities claim proprietorship over anything
- Since everything is existing within the energy of the Lord, the Brahma of this universe and the Brahmas of the many other millions and trillions of universes are existing within the energy of the Lord
T
- The bodily effulgence of Krsna generates millions of universes. In this solar system the sun produces many planets, and because of sunshine the planets are warm and the seasons change
- The Brahma-samhita (Bs 5.38) states: Due to the rays of the Lord’s bodily effulgence, millions of universes are created, just as planets are created from the sun
- The demigods are departmental heads. The government of the Supreme Lord consists not only of one planet or two or three; there are millions of planets and millions of universes
- The glowing effulgence of His (Govinda's) transcendental form is the impersonal Brahman, which is absolute, complete and unlimited and which displays the varieties of countless planets, with their different opulences, in millions and millions of universes
- The glowing effulgence of His transcendental form is the impersonal Brahman, which is absolute, complete and unlimited and which displays the varieties of countless planets, with their different opulences, in millions and millions of universes
- The millions of brahmandas controlled by the Brahmas and other demigods come and go in this material world through the breathing of Maha-Visnu
- The opulences of the impersonal Brahman spread throughout the millions and millions of universes. That Brahman is but the bodily effulgence of Govinda
- The origin of the material creation is Maha-visnu, who lies in the Causal Ocean. While He sleeps in that ocean, millions of universes are generated as He exhales, and they are all annihilated when He inhales
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead and material nature work together to maintain this great universe, and not only this universe but also the millions of other universes beyond this one
- There are many millions of universes, and each of them has got a sun to conduct the business. And all these suns are created by somebody. How much complete He is, you can just imagine. That is God
- There are millions and billions of universes and millions and billions of suns and moons and planets (in the shining effulgence of the body of Krsna). But Krsna says that if one tries to go to one of these planets, he will simply waste his time
- There are millions and trillions of universes, and each universe, there are millions and trillions of planets, and each planet there are millions and trillions of living entities. So all of them combined together is only a portion of God's children
- There are millions of universes, and in each and every universe there are millions and trillions of the stars and planets. This is the whole creation of material world. And taking them together, this is one-fourth creation of God
- This universe is existing due to the Garbhodakasayi Visnu. There is not only one universe, but there are many millions, and they are all working very nicely because the Garbhodakasayi Visnu is present
- This universe is one of the universes. There are millions of universes. We do not know even one universe. We cannot study even one universe. They were trying to go to the moon planet, but that has become a failure
W
- We cannot calculate the extent of the material universe, but we have Vedic information that there are millions of universes within the entire creation, and beyond these material universes there is another sky, which is spiritual
- We have got creative power, and God has got creative power. He has created the whole universe - not only one universe, millions of universes. You can create one skyscraper building, that's all
- When we speak of brahmanda, we refer to the whole universe, or to the cluster of many millions of universes
