- She (Laksmidevi) says that everyone should simply serve the Lord without any motive. Since the Supreme Personality of Godhead is sitting in everyone's heart, He knows everyone's thoughts, and in due course of time He will fulfill all desires
- So everyone's heart, He is sitting. Ksetra-jnam capi mam viddhi sarva-ksetresu bharata (BG 13.3). But He takes special care of the devotee, guides him, gives him intelligence
- Some living entities have short durations of life, whereas others live for fantastic durations. Every one of them from Brahma down to the ant, acts according to the direction of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is sitting in everyone's heart

- Unfortunately, after being worshiped and seated in His place, Lord Balarama saw Romaharsana, the disciple of Vyasadeva (the literary incarnation of Godhead), still sitting on the vyasasana. He had neither gotten up from his seat nor offered Him respects
- Unless one receives dictation from the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who sits within everyone's heart, one cannot be induced to create anything

- When Caitanya said that He was an uneducated fool and could not follow the expositions, Bhattacarya replied: If You do not follow what I am saying, why don't You inquire? Why do You simply sit silently? It appears that You do have something to say
- When Lord Ramacandra returned from the forest, His brother, Bharata, was ruling as a saintly person. But as soon as the eldest brother came back, He entreated that - Now You sit down on the throne
- When the great personality Prahlada Maharaja saw that the Supreme Lord was sitting there, surrounded and worshiped by His intimate associates like Sunanda, he was overwhelmed with tears of jubilation
