Prabhupāda: ...approach Kṛṣṇa. Not that (indistinct) ...Hmm ...not for material benefit but for getting facilities to approach gopīs they worship Kātyāyanī for getting Kṛṣṇa as a husband. So we should follow. (indistinct).
- sṛṣṭi-sthiti-pralaya-sādhana-śaktir ekā
- chāyeva yasya bhuvanāni bibharti durgā
- icchānurūpam api yasya ca ceṣṭate sā
- govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi
- (Bs 5.44)
She acts according to the order of Govinda. Therefore to approach Govinda, if one prays to Kātyāyanī, it is very helpful.
