The Siksastaka prayers are the only written instructions left by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, yet they contain the entire essence of the philosophy of Krsna consciousness. - The Lord had formerly composed these eight verses to teach people in general. Now He personally tasted the meaning of the verses, which are called the Siksastaka
