- Another thing I request is that everything in the Temple should be kept nice and clean. Everyone should wash hands before touching anything of Krishna's

- GBC does not mean to control a center. GBC means to see that the activities of a center go on nicely
- GBC means to be a practical example to all residents of temples and devotees
- Generally, as preachers, we are middle class devotees. So we should not remain as neophyte devotee who does not know how to preach. He simply goes to the temple, and offers everything with devotion to the Deity
- Get married outside the temple, take all risk for supporting wife and home, live outside the temple, like that. But they should live nearby and take part as much as possible in temple activities, such as mangala aratrik, sankirtana, etc

- Hari, the Supreme Personality of Godhead is like the moon. So we established this temple, Mayapura-candrodaya. So this is the idea, that Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu is just like moon
- He (one European gentleman) said that "I find in this temple there is God." "Why? Why you conclude like that?" "That in every temple I saw, that the god, deity, is doing something. But here I see the God is enjoying. He has nothing to do"
- He appears to plan to want to "close the door" to their present temple. So he has asked me for a decision
- He has caused a great difficulty in the management of our Honolulu temple. Of course Gurukrpa has got to handle the situation nicely, but what can I do from here
