- The Lord (Krsna) Himself also speaks of pure, uncontaminated religion when He says, sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja: "Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me." - BG 18.66
- The Lord (Krsna) says in Bhagavad-gita (BG 7.14), mam eva ye prapadyante mayam etam taranti te: "Those who surrender unto Me can easily cross beyond My illusory energy."
- The Lord (Krsna) says, mam eva ye prapadyante mayam etam taranti te: (BG 7.14) "One who is surrendered unto Me cannot be conquered by the illusory energy"
- The Lord (Krsna) says, sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja: "Give up all kinds of material engagement and simply surrender unto Me." (BG 18.66) This is the primary principle of religion
- The Lord comes here to reestablish the principles of religion, and the basic principle is the development of an attitude of surrender to Him
- The Lord confirms (in the BG) "Although the stringent laws of material nature are very difficult to overcome, one who surrenders unto the Lord can very easily cross over nescience." There is no influence of material nature in the spiritual world
- The Lord is the vanquisher of the distresses of one who is surrendered unto Him. Thus He who desired to destroy His family told me previously to go to Badarikasrama
- The Lord says that surrendering unto Him is the guarantee for all protection from Him, but unfortunate persons are unable to accept this proposition, and therefore they suffer from all material miseries
- The Lord says, ye yatha mam prapadyante tams tathaiva bhajamy aham: (BG 4.11) "As the living entities surrender unto Me, I reward them accordingly." Even the karmi who wants everything for his enjoyment can get it from Krsna
- The Lord states in the Bhagavad-gita that one who surrenders unto the lotus feet of the Lord can get release from the clutches of nescience
- The Lord takes all responsibility for one who surrenders unto Him, and He indemnifies all the reactions of sin. BG 1972 Introduction
- The main trouble is janma-mrtyu-jara-vyadhi (BG 13.9). It will go on, unless we surrender to Krsna. Better surrender in this life and be perfect; then things are all right
- The medicines include hearing & chanting & remembering the glories of Godhead, worshiping the transcendental form of Godhead, offering Him transcendental service, accepting Him as one's supreme friend & lastly, surrendering unto Him in all circumstances
- The message of Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu was to give the same message as Krishna in the Bhagavad-gita: "surrender to Krishna". The pastimes of Radha-Krishna relationship are confidential and are not for the distribution to the ordinary public
- The messenger concluded, "All the kings are very anxious to see You (Krsna) so that they can all personally surrender at Your lotus feet. My dear Lord, be merciful upon them and act for their good fortune"
- The messenger said, "(Anyone who surrenders unto Your lotus feet is immediately immune to the reactions of sinful life) We therefore offer ourselves wholeheartedly unto Your shelter, and we hope that Your Lordship will now give us full protection"
- The messenger said, "Dear Lord, because we are now surrendered souls at Your lotus feet, You can give us relief from the entrapment of fruitive action made possible by the form of Jarasandha"
- The messenger said, "Dear Lord, we are not among these surrendered souls; we are still within the duality and illusion of this material existence. We therefore take shelter of Your lotus feet, for we are afraid of the cycle of birth and death"
- The messenger said, "It may be that Jarasandha has been deputed to give us such trouble because of our past misdeeds, but we heard from revealed scriptures that anyone who surrenders unto Your lotus feet is immune to the reactions of sinful life"
- The mission of human life, as described in the Bhagavad-gita, is to surrender unto the Supreme Lord and become His devotee, but the Mayavada philosophy misleads one to defy the existence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- The nine kinds of devotional service are hearing about Krsna, working as His servant, making friendship with Him and unreservedly surrendering to Him
- The nine kinds of devotional service are hearing, chanting, remembering Krsna, offering service to Krsna’s lotus feet, offering worship in the temple, offering prayers, working as a servant, making friendship with Krsna and surrendering to Krsna
- The one who is intelligent, he will take this process that, "I have tried my best to become happy, but everything is failure. Now let me surrender to Krsna." That's all
- The only means of becoming free from this entanglement is to surrender to the Supreme Lord
- The only solution to all problems of life social economic, or political is to surrender to Krishna. Krishna says - the material nature is very difficult to overcome, but one who has surrendered unto me can very easily cross beyond it
- The other day one professor came to see me from Khabudvipa(?). He was very submissive, but still, he would argue like this, that "Whatever Krsna is making me to do, I am doing." So I told him, "Krsna is asking you to surrender. Why don't you surrender?"
- The perfect process is to accept Krsna as the Supreme in everything, and the best perfection in culturing knowledge is to surrender unto Him because He is the source of everything. Only in that conception can one get rid of the misconception of I and mine
- The perfect process is to accept Lord Vasudeva as the Supreme in everything, and the best perfection in culturing knowledge is to surrender unto Him because He is the source of everything
- The perfection of knowledge is (BG 7.19) - After many births and deaths, he who is actually in knowledge surrenders unto Me, knowing Me to be the cause of all causes and all that is. Such a great soul is very rare
- The PG, Sri Krsna, has said in the Bhagavad-gita that after many births, learned sages eventually surrender unto Him, and that such a mahatma who is able to connect everything that be to Vasudeva (the plenary manifestation of Visnu) is rarely to be seen
- The point is to know Krsna, Vasudeva, as everything and surrender unto Him. Karmis do not know this
- The pure guru is he who is teaching simply, "You surrender to Krsna." That is it. That is the pure religion
- The purport is that when a person is a pure devotee but at the same time, by miscalculation, wants to lord it over material nature, the Lord shows His special mercy by taking away all material opulences until at last he surrenders unto the Supreme Lord
- The purpose of Bhagavad-gita is to surrender to Krsna, or God. But if you are deviating them to become atheists, naradhamah, then what is Bhagavad-gita preaching?
- The qualification for leading class is how much one understands about Krsna & surrendering to the process. Not whether one is male or female. Of course women, generally speaking are less intelligent, better she has heard nicely then she will speak nicely
- The real Bhagavad-gita is Krsna says that, "You surrender unto Me." Nobody says, neither Tilak, Gandhi, this Ramakrishna, this Aurobindo. Nobody says that. He's made purposefully avoiding his duty. And these rascals are going as dutiful
- The real devotee first offers his surrender to Krsna with his body, mind and words and then uses his body, mind and words for the service of Krsna as Krsna desires
- The real dharma is to surrender unto Krsna, but the rebellious living entity, instead of surrendering to Krsna, engages in adharma, in a struggle for existence to become like Krsna
- The real purpose of this movement? To teach people how he can surrender to Krsna, that's all. That is the sum and substance of this movement. If one accepts this principle without any difficulty, he is immediately a preacher
- The real religious principle is devotional service, or bhakti. This is confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita, where Lord Krsna says, "Give up all other religious principles and simply surrender unto Me"
- The representative is he who canvasses business for Krsna. That is guru. Krsna wants this business. What is that? "You rascal, give up everything and surrender unto Me," sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja. Krsna wants this business
- The representative of Krsna never tells his disciple, “Surrender unto me.” Rather he says, “Surrender unto Krsna.” If the disciple accepts this principle and surrenders himself through the representative of Krsna, his life is saved
- The representative says surrender to Krsna, and because he delivers the real knowledge, he's as good as Krsna
- The same process (as CC Adi 16.107) advocated by Lord Sri Krsna in His teachings of the Bhagavad-gita as it is - Surrender unto Me in all instances - was advocated by Lord Caitanya Mahaprabhu
- The sane person ceases to speculate on subjects beyond the jurisdiction of his tiny brain, and as a matter of course he tries to learn to surrender unto the Supreme Lord, who alone can lead one to the platform of real knowledge
- The simple process is that a conditioned soul should remain surrendered to the Lord, and the Lord will give him all protection to keep him out of the clutches of material contamination
- The sinful actions of one who has surrendered unto Krsna are compared to a snake with its poison fangs removed. Such a snake is no longer to be feared
- The six divisions of surrender are the acceptance of those things favorable to devotional service, the rejection of unfavorable things, the conviction that Krsna will give protection, the acceptance of the Lord as one's guardian or master
- The six divisions of surrender are: accepting those things favorable to devotional service, rejecting unfavorable things, the conviction that Krsna will give protection, accepting the Lord as one's guardian or master, full self-surrender, and humility
- The so-called progressive modern civilization has produced reprobate human beings, whose sins have been accumulating over many lifetimes. Yet if they surrender to Lord Krsna, even they will have all their sins eradicated forever
- The spiritual science becomes revealed to the devotee from within the heart according to the degree of his surrender to Krsna
- The Supreme Controller's order is, sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekamsaranam vraja (BG 18.66): You simply surrender unto Me, I take charge of you
- The Supreme Lord and His surrendered servitors have in various ways clarified and transmitted the knowledge of the Supreme Absolute, but those who offend the Supreme Lord and His devotees can never comprehend such topics
- The Supreme Lord gives all information in Bhagavad-gita about the aim of life, and at the end of Bhagavad-gita He demands surrender unto Him
- The Supreme Lord never bestows His benediction upon those fixed in the bodily conception. As Krsna clearly states in the BG 18.66: Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear
- The Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna, advises, sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja: "Give up all other varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me"
- The Tenth Canto of Srimad-Bhagavatam reveals the tenth object, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is the shelter of all surrendered souls. He is known as Krsna, and He is the ultimate source of all the universes. Let me offer my obeisances unto Him
- The thoughts of My pure devotees dwell in Me, their lives are surrendered to Me, and they derive great satisfaction and bliss enlightening one another and conversing about Me. BG 10.9 - 1972
- The whole conclusion is that unless one is surrendered to Krsna, he remains in darkness
- The whole process of sacrifice, either by yoga system or by jnana system or by observing the rules and regulation of the social system, everything is meant for reaching to that point. What is that? To surrender unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- The whole thing is revelation. It is not by experience, by scholarship. No: revelation. Ye yatha mam prapadyante. One who has surrendered proportionately, God reveals. Ye yatha mam prapadyante tams tathaiva bhajamy aham
- The wives of the brahmanas said, "Anyone who comes and surrenders unto You never goes back to the conditioned life of material existence. We expect that You will now fulfill Your promise"
- The wives of the brahmanas said, "We have surrendered unto Your lotus feet, which are covered by tulasi leaves, so we have no desire to give up the shelter of Your lotus feet and return to the company of our so-called relatives, friends and society"
- The word nipat means "to fall down," and pra means "without reservation." Transcendental knowledge is based on pranipata. Therefore Krsna says: sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja. (BG 18.66) - Just surrender unto Me
- Their (the gopis) fourth business is to surrender unto Krsna, the fifth is to create a jovial atmosphere, the sixth to give Them (Radharani and Krsna) assurance to enjoy Their pastimes, the seventh to dress and decorate both hero and heroine
- There are different processes of religion and purificatory processes by cultivation of knowledge, meditation in the mystic yoga system, etc., but one who surrenders unto Krsna does not have to execute so many methods. BG 1972 purports
- There are many mystics and yogis all over the world, but Krsna is the master of all yoga systems. Krsna's instruction is explicitly stated in Bhagavad-gita-surrender unto Krsna. One who does so is the topmost yogi. BG 1972 purports
- There are many processes of purification; they cannot be as useful as bhagavad-bhakti. Bhagavad-bhakti is so nice that Krsna says that "You surrender to Me", sarva-dharman parityajya" and immediately you become immune from all reaction of sinful activity
- There are six basic guidelines for surrender. Fifth, a devotee is always conscious that his desires are not independent; unless Krsna fulfills them, they cannot be fulfilled
- There are six basic guidelines for surrender. Fourthly, a devotee should always accept Krsna as his maintainer
- There are six basic guidelines for surrender. The first is that one should accept everything that is favorable for the discharge of devotional service, and one should be determined to accept the process
- There are six basic guidelines for surrender. The second is that one should give up everything that is unfavorable to the discharge of devotional service, and one should be determined to give it all up
- There are six basic guidelines for surrender. Thirdly, one should be convinced that only Krsna can protect him and should have full faith that the Lord will give that protection
- There are six points of surrender unto Krsna. One point of surrender is to believe that "Krsna will protect me." Just like a small child has got full faith in his mother: "My mother is there. There is no danger." Confident. I have seen it
- There is no need to worship the demigods, for this is avidhi, not in order. Simply by surrendering oneself at the lotus feet of Krsna, one can completely discharge one's duties; there is no need to worship various deities or demigods
- There is no way out other than surrender to Krsna. Krsna says that He will save us, even though we are very sinful
- There is spiritual significance only after one accepts the philosophy of Bhagavad-gita, which culminates in surrendering unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- These are the verdict of the sastra. When our heart is cleansed, then we can accept this religion, sarva-dharman parityajya. This is the religion. To accept Krsna, to surrender to the lotus feet of Krsna, this is religion
- These class of men, sinful men, rascal, lowest of the mankind, whose knowledge has been taken away by maya, and demon - these classes of men will never surrender to God
- These rascals thought that "It (sarva-dharman parityajya) is too much. Why I shall surrender to Krsna? I am also as good as Krsna. Why shall I surrender?" That is our mentality
- These rascals will change every year their theology. So what is the value of their words? Childish. He is a rascal. We say, "Krsna, the Supreme" We never change it. And "Surrender is the only process" We shall never change it
- These sentiments - morality, immorality, good, bad - they are simply manufactured. Actually, unless one surrenders to Krsna, there is no question of this ethics and morality
- They (devotees) are not under the control of maya. They are controlled directly of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Therefore they have no fear. The Krsna says, - Anyone who surrenders unto Me, I take charge of him
- They (devotees) are without material possessions, and they perform welfare work for everyone. They are peaceful, surrendered to Krsna and desireless. They are indifferent to material acquisitions and are fixed in devotional service
- They (Krsna's personal associates) are mostly looking on with tears in their eyes, and in the enthusiasm of their service they are not afraid even of the devastating fire generated by Lord Siva. They are souls simply surrendered unto Your lotus feet
- They (Nityananda Prabhu and Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu) have appeared just to reclaim the fallen souls of this age. So They are more kind than Krsna. Krsna, He is also very kind. He comes to deliver. But Krsna demands that first of all surrender
- They (the gopis) said "Krsna, You are very cruel! You should not talk like that. We are full-fledged surrendered souls. Please accept us, and don’t talk in that cruel way"
- They (the jnanis) simply think of becoming free from the contamination of the material world, but because they do not take shelter at the lotus feet of Vasudeva their knowledge is impure. When they become pure they surrender to the lotus feet of Vasudeva
- They (the rascals) think that to surrender to Krsna, this is slave mentality. "I shall remain free." But where is your freedom, sir? That is illusion
- They are thinking by learning Sanskrit they will become perfect. In the Bhagavad-gita I don't find that "You learn Sanskrit, then you become perfect." "You surrender unto Me, then you become perfect." That is wanted
- They are thinking, "By adjustment of this material world, we shall be happy." That is not possible. The maya, the material energy, will not allow you to become perfect unless and until you surrender to Krsna. That is her business
- They have been described as rascals. One who, I mean to say, estimates Krsna from material point of view, material vision, he is mudha. Therefore he cannot surrender to Krsna
- They may not hear it (you surrender unto Krsna) - that is up to them - but as servant of Krsna we have to push on this movement
- They want to remain servant of maya. So let Me directly say: 'You rascal, give up all this engagement. Surrender unto Me.' - That is Krsna
- They will discriminate: my engagement is not good, other's engagement is good, like that. They do not know the secret of surrendering to Krishna
- Thinking oneself to be nitya-krsna-dasa, everlastingly a servant of Krsna, is called dasyam, and sakhyam means being a well-wisher of Krsna. Krsna wants everyone to surrender unto Him because everyone is constitutionally His servant
- This (one who surrender unto Krsna is the topmost yogi) is confirmed in the last verse of the Sixth Chapter (of Bhagavad-gita). Yoginam api sarvesam. BG 1972 purports
- This (surrender unto Krsna) is the verdict of the Eighteenth Chapter (of Bhagavad-gita). BG 1972 purports
- This (surrendering to Krsna) may seem to be a simple instruction to follow, but invariably our reaction is, "Oh, surrender? Give up? But I have so many responsibilities"
- This complete surrender unto the Supreme Personality of Godhead is the most auspicious path for the conditioned soul because the Supreme Lord is the supreme objective of love
- This contention (that surrendering to the demigods is as good as surrendering unto Vasudeva) is denied herein (in SB 4.24.28) because if it were true, Lord Siva would have said that surrender unto him, Lord Vasudeva, Visnu or Brahma is the same
- This divine energy of Mine (Krsna), consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it
- This divine energy of Mine (Krsna), consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it. This was actually proved by the behavior of Haridasa Thakura
- This divine energy of Mine, consisting of the three modes of material nature, is difficult to overcome. But those who have surrendered unto Me can easily cross beyond it. BG 7.14 - 1972
- This is called initiation, that to the spiritual master or Krsna we surrender. He immediately excuses all sinful reaction of life. But if we commit again and again, that is not very good proposal
- This is confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita, wherein the Lord says that after many, many births, a great soul, or mahatma, surrenders unto the Lord, knowing well that Vasudeva, Krsna, is the cause of all causes
- This is explained by Lord Krsna in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 4.11): As all surrender unto Me, I reward them accordingly. Everyone follows My path in all respects, O son of Prtha
- This is oneness. I keep my individuality, but I am so surrendered that I have nothing to disagree with Krsna
- This is our protest to all of the interpreters of the Bhagavad-gita. If they do not believe in God, Krishna, and they don't want to surrender to Him, then let him preach atheism. Everyone has got the right to do this, but why through the Gita
- This is surrender. This is trust. Then activities begins. Then he will act according to the order of Krsna. When he has surrendered, he'll do as Krsna says, man-mana bhava mad-bhakto mad-yaji mam namaskuru
- This is the Lord's last instruction in the Bhagavad-gita (18.66): sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja. "Give up all other processes and just surrender unto Me alone"
- This is the opulence of the Lord. Although situated within the material nature, He is never affected by the modes of nature. Similarly, those who have surrendered to Him and have fixed their intelligence upon Him are not influenced by the modes of nature
- This is the opulence of the Lord: Although situated in the material nature, He is never affected by the modes of nature. Similarly, those who have surrendered to Him and fixed their intelligence upon Him are not influenced by the modes of nature
- This is the teaching of Lord Krsna in the Bhagavad-gita (BG 18.66): Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear
- This Krsna wants to see, that you surrender to Him and become perfect and go back to home, back to Godhead. That is Krsna's mission. So this Krsna consciousness movement is the same mission: to canvass
- This material civilization, they're decorating this body. So the bodily concept of life is condemned in the very beginning of Bhagavad-gita. This knowledge was given to Arjuna by Krsna when he surrendered. When he was talking friendly, He did not say
- This may sound very difficult (discussing the SPG among sadhus), but one can become a sat, a saintly person, within a second. If one is eager, one can immediately surrender to Krsna
- This person who came to surrender to Krsna, either by sentiment or some way or other but falls down, this man is better. There is no, - I mean to say - any great loss. Rather, it is a great gain
- This process (of surrendering to Krsna) is the best because the Lord assures, aham tvam sarva-papebhyo moksayisyami ma sucah: "I shall deliver you from all sinful reaction. Do not fear"
- This surrender is considered auspicious for the conditioned soul. Our life, property, home, wife, children, house, country, society and all paraphernalia which are very dear to us are expansions of the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- This teaching is imparted by the Lord Himself in the pages of the Bhagavad-gita, in which it is clearly described that the Lord (Sri Krsna) is everything, and that to surrender unto Him solely and wholly makes one the most perfectly pious man
- Those miscreants who are grossly foolish, lowest among mankind, whose knowledge is stolen by illusion, and who partake of the atheistic nature of demons, do not surrender unto Me
- Those who are envious of Krsna, Krsna says, "I put them eternally in the hellish condition of life." So if you want to save yourself from the hellish condition of life, you must take to Krsna consciousness and surrender unto Him
- Those who are freed from all material contaminations surrender unto the Supreme Lord and engage in His devotional service. As long as the material contamination is not completely washed off, they are by nature nondevotees. BG 1972 purports
- Those who are simply puffed up, thinking themselves liberated by some nondevotional process, are not polished or clear in intelligence, for they have not yet surrendered unto You (Krsna)
- Thus (if we surrender unto Krsna) we are immediately relieved from traveling from one body to another and from one planet to another
- To accept ajnana as jnana is the most unfortunate position. That is not jnana. Real jnana is how to surrender to Krsna
- To come to that Krsna consciousness rightly and surrender to Krsna, it takes many millions of births. But if one is intelligent, if this is the ultimate goal, that one has to come to this point, to surrender to Vasudeva, why not do it immediately?
- To eat and to vibrate sound is the business of the tongue. If you can control your tongue for prasadam, spiritual food, and make the sound vibration of the holy name, then by surrender of the tongue you can control all the other senses
- To escape the entanglement, he (the living entity) has only to perform his duty and to surrender unto the Supreme Lord with intelligence and devotion and with sincere Krsna consciousness
- To gain favor of that Personality of Godhead (Krsna), one has only to surrender, and this is a result of performing devotional service by hearing, chanting, etc. BG 1972 purports
- To get out of the entanglement of this strong banyan tree of material life, one must surrender to Krsna. As soon as one surrenders unto Krsna, he becomes detached automatically from this material extension. BG 1972 purports
- To get relief from tedious business of accepting one body & then giving it up to accept another & again another in continued material existence, just give up this process of sense gratification & surrender unto Me. Then you will be saved. - This is KC
- To have faith, this is called surrender. Not that, "Oh, Krsna says, but may not be able to protect me." No. Krsna is able. He is all-powerful, omnipotent. He can give you protection
- To say nothing of human beings, even the demigods in the upper planetary systems are unaware of it - surrendering unto the lotus feet of Krsna
- To surrender to Krishna all at once is not generally possible, but as we serve Krishna more and more, we gradually become more and more surrendered at His Lotus Feet
- To surrender to Krishna is not difficult all we have to do is follow the instructions given by Krishna in Bhagavad-gita under the guidance of his representative, the spiritual master
- To surrender to Krsna is not easy, but if one is jnanavan, he can do it. So make your country jnanavan, not these rascals, unnecessarily wasting time by opposing us
- To surrender to Krsna means to surrender to His devotees also, for no one can be a proper servant of Krsna unless he is a proper servant of a devotee
- To surrender to Krsna requires little qualification, and that qualification Sanatana Gosvami wanted. Therefore he has approached Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. We can follow his footsprints
- To surrender to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, that is religion. Not only surrender, but to act as He desires, or you become a lover of God. This is first-class religion
- To surrender unto the lotus feet of the Lord is also not very easy. Such surrender is possible by persons of austerity, cleanliness, mercy and truthfulness. These four principles of advanced civilization were remarkable features in the age of Satya
- Transcendental personalities are full of transcendental bliss, knowledge & life eternal. That's the real position of spiritual existence & as soon as he's fully cognizant of this transcendental position, he at once surrenders unto the lotus feet of Krsna
U
- Uddhava continued, "Although there are descriptions of different processes of self-realization, at the end Krsna recommends that one give up everything and simply surrender unto Him"
- Uddhava continued, "The Bhagavad-gita also says that this surrendering process is completed by a sincere person after executing the processes of self-realization in wisdom and austerity for many births"
- Uddhava said, "Although to accept the invitation offered by Narada as primary is quite appropriate, at the same time, my Lord, it is Your duty to give protection to the surrendered souls. Both purposes can be served if we understand the whole situation"
- Ultimately He advises that one give up all other ways and modes of worship and fully surrender unto Him alone (18.66). Only those who are cleansed of all sinful reactions can have such unflinching faith in the Supreme Lord
- Ultimately, when a person comes to understand that his self is the spirit soul and that the spirit soul is nothing but a part and parcel of the Supreme Lord, he recognizes the Supreme Lord as the ultimate goal of love and then surrenders unto Him
- Unable to get any help from Lord Siva, the Siva-jvara could understand that he had no means of escape outside of surrendering unto Narayana, Lord Krsna Himself
- Understanding one's spiritual identity is called dharma. The ultimate goal of dharma is enunciated by Sri Krsna Himself in BG (18.66). Sarva-dharman parityajya mam ekam saranam vraja: - Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me
- Understanding this (Krsna is all that is), the wise man will surrender immediately and not wait to take many, many births. He understands that this information is given by the Supreme Lord out of His infinite mercy on the conditioned souls
- Unfortunately persons who are engaged in destructive work are unable to surrender to the Personality of Godhead
- Unfortunately, foolish men have misinterpreted this prime teaching (Krsna says :"Give up all other processes and just surrender unto Me alone.") and misled the masses of people in diverse ways
- Unless he has surrendered, how he can take up this business, go door to door and say: "You surrender to Krsna. You surrender to Krsna"? That means he has surrendered. He has no other business
- Unless one is very wise and intelligent, he cannot become a devotee of Krsna. The first-class intelligent class of men surrenders to Krsna
- Unless one reads Bhagavad-gita, there is no question of faith in Krsna. One must have faith in the words of Krsna, particularly when Krsna says, - Abandon all dharmas and surrender to Me. I will give you all protection
- Unless one surrenders to Krsna, there is no jnana, no knowledge
- Unless you surrender to Krsna, there is no possibility of getting out of the clutches of maya. That is not possible
- Upon your surrender, the spiritual master and Krishna take responsibility for your sins. So if you commit sin again, the spiritual master becomes responsible for your sinful reaction
V
- Vaisnavas do not require to practice any yogic power to become materially powerful. He doesn't require. Simply his surrender to Krsna makes him all-powerful. This is the position of Vaisnava
- Vasudeva, Bhagavan Sri Krsna, personally teaches in Bhagavad-gita: "Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me" - BG 18.66
- Vedanta means "the ultimate knowledge." And what is that knowledge? Krsna explains in the Bhagavad-gita (7.19): bahunam janmanam ante jnanavan mam prapadyate. After many births, one who is actually in knowledge at last surrenders unto Me
W
- We are all part and parcel of the supreme whole, but not surrendering unto Him, misusing our independence, we are giving pain to the Supreme
- We are preaching this, that "You take to Krsna. Surrender to Krsna." Krsna said the same thing we are saying. We are not manufacturing it. Why should we manufacture? The words are already there
- We are servant of Krsna, but somehow or other, we revolted. Still we are revolting. Although Krsna coming and canvassing, "Just surrender unto Me," but still we are revolting. This is our disease
- We are so foolish rascal that we are prepared to become servant of the most abominable activities of our senses, but we are not prepared to surrender to Krsna and become His servant
- We are suffering because there is reaction of sinful life, but if you surrender to Krsna, then your all reaction of sinful life is immediately nullified, squared up
- We are surrendering, but we are not surrendering to Krsna. This is the disease. This is the disease. And Krsna consciousness movement means to cure this disease
- We are trying to take facilities from Krsna beginning from "O God, give us our daily bread, then give me motorcar, then give me airplane, then give me this, give me that." "Take all, but you will never be happy unless you surrender to Me"
