- According to the Vedic literatures, Brahma, who may be compared to the sun, is not the ultimate creator. It is stated in this sloka that Brahma was taught Vedic knowledge by the Personality of Godhead
- Although Lord Krsna is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, He taught His disciple and devotee Arjuna how to lead a life ending in going back home, back to Godhead (tyaktva deham punar janma naiti mam eti so 'rjuna) - BG 4.9

- Sarvabhauma Bhattacarya thus offered his prayer to the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who had now assumed the form of Caitanya Mahaprabhu just to teach people how to develop knowledge, become detached, and become pure devotees of Krsna
- Sometimes materialists, forgetting the pastimes of Radha-Krsna and Krsna-Balarama, go to Vrndavana, accept the land’s spiritual facilities and engage in material activity. This is against the teachings of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu

- When mother Sita was kidnapped by Ravana and the Raksasas, Lord Ramacandra, as the SP of Godhead, could have married hundreds and thousands of Sitas, but to teach us how faithful He was to His wife, He fought with Ravana and finally killed him
- When the Kazi came down to see Him (Lord Caitanya), the Lord offered him proper respect and a seat because he was a respectable government officer. Thus the Lord taught us by His personal behavior
- When the Lord Himself appears as an incarnation within this material world, He is not allured by the material atmosphere, and He has nothing to do with material activity, yet by His example He teaches the common man how to become a devotee
