- A devotee does not live either in hell or heaven, he lives in Vaikuntha always. He doesn't care for hell and heaven
- A devotee does not live on the material plane-he lives in Krsna. BG 1972 purports
- A devotee not only lives forever in the Vaikuntha planets, but by his reputation he also lives forever within this material world

- Raghunatha Bhatta Gosvami lived by Radha-kunda in a small cottage. In the Gaura-ganoddesa-dipika (185) it is said that Raghunatha Bhatta Gosvami was formerly the gopi named Raga-manjari

- When a devotee is promoted to the spiritual world, Vaikuntha, he receives four kinds of facilities. One of these is salokya, living on the same planet as the Supreme Personality
- When a devotee lives in this way (considering his dangerous condition to be due to his past misdeeds and takes it as an opportunity to pray to the Lord), his salvation - his going back home, back to Godhead - is guaranteed
- When Haridasa Thakura went to Jagannatha Puri, he lived outside the temple, at a place called Siddhabakula. A monastery has now been erected there, known as Siddhabakula Matha
