- You have to become a strict brahmacari and sit in the forest with your body at a right angle to the ground, pressing your nose with your finger for six months - Who could follow such an instruction
- You have to become a submissive, submissive. You have to accept a spiritual master who knows. Then you'll know. It is not that in a meeting by challenging, you can know. No
- You have to become an ideal society. You live locally and be self-sufficient. They will see that it is possible to live locally without movement, and still highly cultured men, self-sufficient. That is required
- You have to become God conscious. Then you will understand what is God. It is not a so trifle thing you ask me and in one minute, you understand God. That is foolishness. You have to study the science of God. God is not so cheap
- You have to become real human being. That is wanted. And what is the human being? That is explained in the Vedanta-sutra
- You have to beg for the mercy of Krsna; then this blazing fire can be extinguished, not by your arrangement. That is not possible
- You have to carry out his orders, that's all. God's representative is the guru. He asks you to do this, to do that - if you do that, that is pleasing
- You have to change body. But our method, this tyaktva deham punar janma naiti (BG 4.9). You don't get anymore material body
- You have to change the consciousness. What you are doing? For whom you are doing? For yourself or for Krsna? This is Krsna consciousness. And that is the perfection of life
- You have to change their doggish quality. Then there will be peace. How you can expect peaceful society amongst the dogs
- You have to change your body. And that will be selected not by you, not by your government, not by your father, not by your so-called guru. It will be decided by the laws of nature. That you cannot avoid
- You have to change your body. That is a fact. You believe or not believe, you are changing your body every moment. So simply you have no eyes to see, you have no brain to understand
- You have to change your consciousness, make it full with Krsna or God. Then everything will be all right
- You have to change your desire. That is KC movement. Sarvopadhi-vinirmuktam. You have to understand that - I am not this body. I am neither Indian, nor American, nor Russian. I am part and parcel of God. Therefore my business is to serve God
- You have to cleanse the mirror of your consciousness, then the reflection will be properly viewed. If you keep it dirty, then it is not possible. Therefore we require first-class men to understand this philosophy, not the fourth-class man
- You have to collect the ointment of love for Krsna. And if you apply that ointment on your eyes, then . . . Just like we use surma for clear vision, similarly, when the love of Krsna surma is applied on the eyes, these eyes, you'll see Krsna
- You have to come above, transcend this position of goodness also. So goodness is not qualification for spiritual advancement, but it is helping. If a man is very good man, then it is helping to spiritual life. But that is not the cause
- You have to come to the stage of spiritual platform; then there is question of love, brotherhood, equality, fraternity, otherwise, all bogus propaganda. It's not possible
- You have to come to this stage, vasudeva sarvam iti, fully, firmly convinced that "Vasudeva is my life. Vasudeva is everything. Krsna is my life." And the highest perfection is visible in the Vrndavana atmosphere, especially by the gopis
- You have to conquer Him by your love. He will reveal to yourself
- You have to consult sastra. There is direction. It is . . . practically it is the same. Just like Manu-samhita, it says that if one is a murderer then he should be killed. Life for life. He should be hanged. That is the old system
- You have to convince your countrymen that what is this civilization, nonsense civilization? Stop this kind of civilization. Learn how to become civilized. Don't claim yourself as civilized man and eating like tigers and dogs and cats
- You have to deal with cats and dogs. But still there is hope, because they have got this human form of life. There is hope. It is not hopeless. Don't be disappointed, but this is the job. You have to meet with cats and dogs
- You have to develop love for Krsna and you'll see Him. He can be seen by love, not by your method. He is not under any method, but He is under love
- You have to develop your God consciousness, or Krsna consciousness. There are books. There are explanation. There are teachers
- You have to die, but when there is warning of death, why you fly? Rascal, why you fly? That means you do not want to die. You give this slogan, that "When there is warning of death, why do you fly? You have to die"
- You have to die. That is a fact. Nobody will live here. "As sure as death." So before death we must finish the atonement of our sinful activities. This is recommended. But nobody knows
- You have to die. Then where is your happiness? If you can make such arrangement that you will not die, whatever you have created you will enjoy, then it can be said as happiness. But that is not possible. You have to die
- You have to do your own duty. But result, depend on Krsna. This is KC. You don't be sorry if there is failure, you don't be unhappy if there is success, uh, you don't be too much, I mean to say, jubilant if there is success. Everything is done by Krsna
- You have to eat the grains and the fruits and the vegetables along with a slice of meat, you take. Still, for that slice of meat, you are killing so many poor animals. How much sinful it is
- You have to eat. These things are eatable: food grains, vegetables, fruits, milk, sugar. That's all. Why should we eat nonsense things? This will keep your health very nice. Sattvikahara
- You have to educate yourself how your soul can be saved from this cycle of birth and death within the species of 8,400,000's in different planets and different places

- You have to fight. Certainly you have to fight with your brothers, brothers-in-law and nephews, and you are lamenting. But first of all understand whether you are body or not. - That is the beginning of Bhagavad-gita
- You have to find out a bona fide school, you have to find out a bona fide teacher, and then you learn. That's all
- You have to find out pratikaram, counteraction, how to save yourself from danger. Just like when we walk, we see in so many doors, "Danger," so that you may be . . . you are warned. Sometimes the doors are, "Beware of the dog." So you have to take care
- You have to find out such an authoritative person (who is coming under the disciplic succession) and surrender unto him. Surrendering unto him means surrendering unto God because he is God's representative
- You have to find out such person. Then your life is successful. So that will also . . . you will get according to your sincerity of purpose, because Krsna is within you
- You have to first of all place yourself in a platform which is free of all anxiety. Evam prasanna-manaso. Prasanna means full of joy, full of life

- You have to give up these things: no illicit sex, no intoxication." He said: "Oh, it is impossible. For us, it is impossible." So actually, these four prohibitory rules is impossible for the rascals
- You have to go and lecture all the universities, calling these rascals fools. That will be our mission. They do not know anything and talking all nonsense. That's it. There was nobody to challenge till now
- You have to go back to home, back to Krsna, where there is everything variety, spiritual varieties. You can play with Krsna. You can dance with Krsna. You can talk with Krsna. You can fight with Krsna
- You have to go in the parampara system, submission, tapasya, jnana. Bahavo jnana-tapasa puta mad-bhavam agatah. So by jnana, by knowledge, by tapasya, you have to make progress. This is Krsna consciousness movement
- You have to go through God's representative. By the mercy of the spiritual master one is benedicted by the mercy of Krsna
- You have to go to guru to understand. You cannot understand personally. That is not possible. Therefore our system is to see through the guru and sastra, not by these naked eyes. That is misleading
- You have to go to guru. Guru means who knows more than you. That is guru. So who can know more than Krsna? Therefore we have to accept Krsna as guru and learn from Him. Then you'll get perfect knowledge
- You have to hear from the pure source, give aural reception, and think of it, meditate upon it. Simply by doing this, you are liberated
- You have to know so many things. But if you understand Krsna, to understand Krsna means to understand everything
- You have to know what sort of life we should accept, pravrtti - this is called pravrtti - and what sort of life we should reject. This is required. This is the distinction between sura and asura
- You have to learn from the authority, "It is like this," that much. It is not under your experimental knowledge. That is not possible. Because your knowledge is so imperfect, you cannot deal with these things
- You have to learn from the authorized Vedic literature. You cannot imagine. You cannot speculate. You have to learn from authority
- You have to learn how to contact Krsna everywhere in everything. That is explained in the system of yoga. Krsna consciousness is also yoga, the perfect yoga, the highest of all yogic systems
- You have to learn. If you want to remain rascal, fool, and still you want to know, that is not possible. You have to know from the real source. Then you'll know
- You have to live ten months within the womb of your mother in suffocated condition, either you take your birth in aristocratic family or in abominable family, either in human mother's womb or animal mother's womb. That does not make any difference
- You have to live with us. Then your friends will not ask you, "What about marijuana?" Keep the association of devotees. We are opening centers to give people a chance to associate with us
- You have to live within this body certain age. So if you change the body, new, that doesn't mean you prolong your life. That is not possible. It is the duration of life, that is considered
