- A false sense of everyone's being a miniature Krsna, who tries to enjoy the world to his best capacity, while overlooking the transcendental service of the Absolute Truth, the Personality of Godhead, the complete whole and the origin of all
- As far as Krsna is concerned, He is God always, either as a child on the lap of His mother, or as the coverer of the universe, Vamanadeva. He does not require to become God by undergoing severe penances, although some men think of becoming God that way
- As it is an offense to consider oneself to be Krsna, so it is offensive to consider oneself to be Yasoda, Nanda, or any other associate of the Lord. We should always remember that they are transcendental; they are never conditioned souls
F
- Foolish people who because of a poor fund of knowledge think that one can equal Krsna or become Krsna are condemned in every way. No one can equal or surpass Krsna, who is therefore described as asamordhva
- Forgetfulness of transcendental relationship between the living entity and the Personality of Godhead has created a false sense of everyone's being a miniature Krsna, who tries to enjoy the world to his best capacity
H
- He could not estimate his own position, Paundraka falsely thought himself to be Lord Vasudeva. Thus the messenger declared to Krsna that King Paundraka, the SP, had descended to the earth out of his causeless mercy just to deliver all distressed persons
- He does not defy Krsna or try to become Krsna. One who does so is not a mahatma but a duratma, a rascal. What is the position and knowledge of a mahatma
- He does not know what is the power of Krsna, how much He is Yogesvara. Still, he is falsely claiming to become Krsna
I
- If being able to manufacture gold is a criterion for becoming God, then why not accept Krsna, the proprietor of the entire universe, wherein there are countless tons of gold?
- If I think that "I shall become mother Yasoda," that is also Mayavada. That is also Mayavada, exactly like that, if one thinks that "I shall become Krsna." Our only proposition is how to be engaged in the service of Krsna
- In this material world, we are hankering after Laksmi, the goddess of fortune, but we are frustrated in our attempts. We think, "Now let me become the husband of Laksmi." Actually, no one can enjoy Laksmi but Narayana
K
- Krsna is bhokta and we are bhogya. It is not our position that we become Krsna and become bhokta. No. That is wrong conception
- Krsna's representative does not say, "I have become Krsna." Such a person is neither a representative nor a guru. He is simply a cheater
- Krsna, at the age of seven years old, He lifted Govardhana mountain. Govardhana-dhari, Giridhari. So what you are? You cannot raise even five kilos of load, and you are becoming God?
M
- Material bondage is caused by deviation from the service of the Lord and attempts to imitate Him. The Lord is imitated by Mayavadi philosophers who try to become one with the Lord in an artificial way
- Mayavadi theory is, "I am Krsna. I am God. Now I am overpowered by maya, & as soon as I become free from maya, again I become Krsna." But question is, - If you are Krsna or God, then why you became under the control of maya? What kind of God you are
T
- The doctrines of anthropomorphism and zoomorphism are never applicable to Sri Krsna, or the Personality of Godhead. The theory that a man becomes God by dint of penance and austerities is very much rampant nowadays, especially in India
- The duty of a spiritual master is to say give up all dharma and surrender unto the lotus feet of Krishna. He is a spiritual master. Otherwise the rest are cheaters. One who himself becomes Krishna, he is a cheater
- The purpose of creation is to give the conditioned soul, the rebellious soul, whose nature being constitutional nature is that he should be enjoyed by Krsna, but he has taken the wrong direction, that - I'll not be enjoyed by Krsna. I shall become Krsna
- This is our disease. We want to imitate Krsna. We want to become Krsna. We want to enjoy like Krsna. This is going on. So so long we have got this propensity, we are sinful. This is the substance
- This is the beginning of material life - to be envious of Krsna. "Why should Krsna be the enjoyer?" they think. "I shall also be the enjoyer. Why should Krsna enjoy the gopis? I shall become Krsna and make a society of gopis and enjoy." This is maya
- This kind of work (that living entities trying to become Krsna, to enjoy the world to his best capacity) is done under the spell of the modes of material nature, called maya, or the illusory energy
U
- Under a false egoistic sense, since he (the living entity) is constitutionally unable to do so (becoming Krsna, the supreme enjoyer), any more than the hands, legs, eyes, and so on can individually function as a complete, whole body
- Unintelligent men who do not understand Krsna are grossly puffed up, thinking that they are liberated or have themselves become Krsna or Narayana. This is ignorance
W
- We cannot become Krsna. We are eternally Krsna's servitors, part and parcel. This is real conclusion: qualitatively one
- We do not want to become Krsna. We are trying to become Krsna's servant. That is the difference between Mayavada philosophy and Vaisnava philosophy
- We don't want to become Krsna, but we want to become the most obedient servant of Krsna. That is our proposition
