Theme Analysis
Śrīla Prabhupāda consistently teaches that Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and as such, no one is equal to or greater than Him (asamordhva). This principle distinguishes Kṛṣṇa from all other beings, including the demigods, who are His servants, and the living entities, who are His minute parts and parcels. The idea that a conditioned soul can become equal to Kṛṣṇa through penance or meditation is rejected as "sinful" and "condemned." However, in the spiritual realm of Vṛndāvana, Kṛṣṇa allows His intimate devotees to treat Him as an equal or even as a subordinate. This is not due to ontological equality but is a special dispensation of love (prema) where Kṛṣṇa willingly forgets His majesty to enjoy relationships like friendship (sakhya-rasa) and parenthood (vātsalya-rasa). Even expansions like Balarāma and Viṣṇu, though equal in potency, accept a subordinate role to serve the original Lord.
