- A devotee is simply interested in the supreme eternal, Sri Krsna. The Supreme Lord is the supreme leader of the nityas, the eternal living entities. We are all nityas, eternal, and Krsna guides and plays with us
- According to the mimamsa philosophers, everything is eternal, nitya
- All these (the sakhis, nitya-sakhis, prana-sakhis, priya-sakhis and parama-prestha-sakhis) fair-complexioned associates of Srimati Radharani, the Queen of Vrndavana-dhama, are expert artists in evoking erotic sentiments in Krsna

- Bhagavan means who is the proprietor of all riches. So we are sons of such a rich man. Nityo nityanam cetanas cetana... But we have become mad. We have become mad. We want to enjoy
- Bhagavata is so powerful that nityam bhagavata-sevaya: we have to read Srimad-Bhagavatam daily, and twenty-four hours. That is the injunction: nityam. Nityam means "always." So our members especially, I mean to say, those who are inmates
- Bhagavata never becomes old, nityam bhagavata-sevaya

- If I am nitya, eternal, then I should be interested in eternal happiness. But the eternal happiness is not possible to enjoy by this body
- If one actually becomes wise, jnanavan, he understands this simple truth, that jivera svarupa haya krsnera nitya dasa, this simple truth, that every living entity is eternally the servant of Krsna
- In this way (by thinking of Krsna), at the end of life, one may be transferred to the association of Krsna. This is technically called nitya-lila-pravista, entering into the planet Goloka Vrndavana
- It is said that the gopis are divided into five groups, namely the sakhis, nitya-sakhis, prana-sakhis, priya-sakhis and parama-prestha-sakhis

- Nitya Avataras have their eternal abodes in the spiritual sky and Naimittic Avataras are expansions of Nitya Avataras for some timely purpose
- Nitya means eternal. And nityanam. Nityanam means plural number of nityas. So there are many nityas, means many living entities, but there is one nitya Supreme. That is God. He is also a living entity like us
- Nitya means eternally; ananda means happy. So Nityananda has no unhappiness. But He was passing on the street, there was a crowd, and Nityananda Prabhu inquired, - Why there is so much crowd?
- Nitya refers to the Personality of Godhead, beginning from Krsna to Maha-Visnu, Narayana and other expansions of Lord Krsna
T
- The creator "I" and the created "I" are both accepted in the Vedas as qualitatively one because both of them are nityas and cetanas
- The eternal world means there is no past, present and future. Because there is not this material body. This is the difference between past, present, and future. Therefore it is called nitya. Nitya means eternal, where there is no influence of this time
- The leader, perfect leader, is God. Nityo nityanam cetanas cetananam (Katha Upanisad 2.2.13). That nitya and cetana, all living entities, we are eternal, and we are conscious
- The living entity has senses, and if the senses stopped working, the living entity would no longer be a living entity; he would be exactly like stone or wood. This is not possible. Because he is living, he is nitya and cetana - eternally sentient
- The living entity is eternal (nitya) like the Supreme Personality of Godhead, but the difference is that the Supreme Lord is the greatest, no one being equal to or greater than Him, whereas the living entity is suksma, or extremely small
- The Lord is described here as the jiva because He is the leader of all other jivas (living entities). In the Vedas He is described as the nitya, the leader of all other nityas
- The Lord is purusa, or the supreme enjoyer. Not only is He the enjoyer when He appears as a manifested incarnation, but He is the enjoyer since time immemorial, from the very beginning (puratanah), and eternally - nityam
- The next process of devotional service is arcanam, worship of the Deity, the form of Krsna in the temple. It is not that one should worship Krsna once a week or once a month. Rather, one should worship Krsna twenty-four hours a day - nitya
- There are always two: Brahman and Para-brahman, atma and Paramatma, isvara and Paramesvara, the individual living being and the supreme living being, nitya and nityanam, cetanas and cetananam
- This body is to be annihilated, but I am not to be annihilated. Nityasyoktahsaririnah. Saririnah means "one who possesses." He is nitya
- This is the purport of sanatana-dharma. Sanatana means nitya, or "eternal," and krsna-dasa means "servant of Krsna." The eternal occupational duty of the human being is to serve Krsna. This is the sum and substance of the Krsna consciousness movement
- Two words are there. One is singular number, nitya, eternal, and the other is plural number, nityanam. So we are plural number. Plural number eternals. We do not know what is the numerical strength of the living entities. They are described as asankhya
W
- We can become immediately liberated from this prison house of material existence if we accept this teaching of Caitanya Mahaprabhu, jivera svarupa haya nitya krsnera dasa
- We have several times explained what the eternal occupational duty of the living being is. Indeed, it has been explained by Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu. Jivera 'svarupa' haya-krsnera 'nitya-dasa': - CC Madhya 20.108
- What is the distinction between this singular number, nitya, and the plural number, nityas? The distinction is that that singular number, nitya, is maintaining this plural number, nityas. Eko bahunam yo vidadhati kaman. That is the distinction
