One must hear from a realized soul who is a factual representative of Śrīla Śukadeva Gosvāmī, the liberated sage who first spoke the text to Mahārāja Parīkṣit. It is strictly advised to avoid professional reciters who use the Bhāgavatam merely as a business to earn their livelihood.
