Theme Analysis
Śrīla Prabhupāda explains that the entire world is anxiously striving for peace through various organizations like the United Nations, yet these efforts continually fail because they lack the proper spiritual foundation. The actual peace formula is clearly enunciated by the Supreme Lord Himself in the Bhagavad-gītā (5.29). To achieve lasting peace, or śānti, human society must understand three absolute facts: Kṛṣṇa is the supreme enjoyer of all activities, the supreme proprietor of all planets, and the supreme well-wishing friend of all living entities. When we accept this formula, recognizing that we are all children of the Supreme Father with the right to use His property without encroaching on others, global harmony naturally follows.
