- They (the jnanis) say, "Here we shall be happy," and their dharma, or religion, consists of trying to make a peaceful atmosphere within this material world
- They (the rascals) will never agree to accept Bhagavad-gita as it is. They'll never agree. The other day I was there in Kuruksetra. They have got their own plan-manava-dharma, this dharma, that dharma. Krsna says, sarva-dharman parityajya
- They (the Six Gosvamis) were very, very expert in studying sastra very scrutinizingly. Why they studied so much? Because they wanted to establish sad-dharma, real type of religion, bhakti. They are quoting, therefore, from so many, nana-sastra
- They do not know the real problem is janma-mrtyu-jara-vyadhi. Therefore, following the real religious principle means sad-dharma
- They have different types of dharmas, but real dharma is bhagavata-dharma, what we learn from Srimad-Bhagavatam, to deal with the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Bhagavan. That is called bhagavatan
- This (character of sudra, brahmacari, grhastha, vanaprastha, sannyasa) must be systematically organized. That is called dharma. Because the real purpose is, dharmasya hy apavargyasya: just to nullify this miserable condition of material life
- This (dharma, artha, kama, moksa) is material principles. We have to surpass this material principle, then come to the spiritual platform. That is sarva-dharman parityajya
- This Bhagavata-dharma is not a cheating dharma. Bhagavata-dharma means in relation with the Supreme Lord. Bhagavati bhaktih. Bhakti can be applied only to Bhagavan. Bhakti means the business between Bhagavan and bhakta
- This dharma, vaisnava-dharma, rupanuga-dharma, following the footsteps of Rupa Gosvami, that is meant for paropakara. All other dharmas, any dharma, they execute dharma for personal benefit
- This is also necessary; the Vedic civilization considers all aspects of human life, including dharma (religion), artha (economic development), kama (sense gratification) and moksa (liberation). But humanity's first concern should be religion
- This is confirmed in Bhagavad-gita in the well-known verse yada yada hi dharmasya glanih. "Whenever there is a decline of dharma and a rise of adharma, O Arjuna, then I incarnate Myself
- This is four principle: dharma, artha, kama, moksa. And moksa, by the impersonalist, their moksa and real moksa . . . real moksa means liberation
- This is the best service. Instead of serving myself, let me serve the whole humanity, whole community, whole nation - But they are all asad-dharma. They are not sad-dharma
- This is the only central point - how to love Krsna (prema pum-artho mahan). People are generally pursuing dharma, artha, kama, moksa - religiosity, economic development, sense gratification, & liberation. But Lord Caitanya disregarded these four things
- This Krsna consciousness movement, you can take it as a religious movement, bhagavata-dharma. This is the only dharma, bhagavata-dharma. Except bhagavata-dharma, any other dharma, so-called dharma, is cheating. That is not dharma
- This rendering of service cannot in any way be divorced from the living entity, and it is this that constitutes the dharma of every living being. Without rendering service, one cannot exist
- This verse (SB 1.1.2) of Srimad-Bhagavatam rejects as cheating processes all religious activities that aim at achieving materialistic goals, including dharma, artha, kama and even moksa, or liberation
- Those interested in trivarga-that is, in dharma, artha and kama-are religious for the sake of achieving a material position with which to gain better facilities for sense gratification
- Those who are elevated in the living condition, they want to become religious or economically very prosperous, dharma-artha, and good facilities for sense enjoyment
- Those who are too much attached to family life - which consists of entanglement with wife, children, wealth and home - are engaged in kuta-dharma, pseudo duties
- Those who are trying for going to the heavenly planet for enjoying life more and more, increasing happiness, they are also wasting time. And the whole system of dharma is like that, increasing happiness and decreasing distress
- Those who aspire for liberation (mukti or moksa) and introduce themselves as vaidantika are also equal to those groups aspiring to improve religion (dharma), economic development (artha) and sense gratification - kama
- To accept any kind of religion or faith means to nullify these five kinds of vargas. Hard work, foaming, fearfulness, frustration, and ultimately, death. That is the purpose of dharma
- To become religious, dharmic, means how to nullify these five principles of material existence
- To create a new type of dharma has become fashionable in this age. So-called svamis and yogis support that one may follow any type of religious system, according to one's own choice, because all systems are ultimately the same

- Today I may be a Hindu, but tomorrow I may become a Christian or Moslem. In this way faiths can be changed, but dharma is a natural sequence, a natural occupation or connection

- Try to understand the word dharma, that it cannot be changed. Similarly, we living entities, we have got a dharma, or religion. That we cannot change. What is that? A living entity is servant
