- A common master looks to the necessities of his servant, so how much more would the all-powerful, all-opulent Supreme Lord look after the necessities of life for a fully surrendered soul
- A devotee is always protected by all of the Supreme Lord's opulences, of which no one can deprive him (tesam nityabhiyuktanam yoga-ksemam vahamy aham (BG 9.22)). Thus a devotee cannot be defeated by any opponents
