Śrīla Prabhupāda explains that the activities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead are completely distinct from the mundane actions of ordinary living entities. While they may sometimes appear similar to human interactions, they are fully transcendental, expanding unlimitedly, and possess the potency to liberate anyone who hears them with a submissive and service-oriented attitude.
- The Unlimited Nature of Divinity: The glories and activities of the Supreme Lord are so vast that even the Lord Himself, as His energies expand, finds no limit to them; therefore, finite logic cannot measure the Infinite.
- Purification Through Hearing: The primary process of devotional service involves hearing and chanting about the Lord's pastimes, which acts as a powerful medicine to cure the material disease and reveal the Lord's identity within the heart.
- The Qualification to Understand: Only through the eyes of love and the path of unalloyed devotional service can one perceive the factual nature of God's activities; non-devotees and impersonalists, confused by illusion, view them as mythology or fiction.
- Transcendental Reality: Unlike the karma-bound actions of conditioned souls, the Lord's activities (lila) are beyond the modes of material nature, being fully spiritual, auspicious, and immune to the laws of karma.
