The presence of conflict in the material world is inevitable as long as living entities remain disconnected from their spiritual source. Śrīla Prabhupāda explains that human life is naturally meant to be easy, healthy, and completely free from antagonism. However, materialistic persons are inherently averse to the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Similarly, Lord Ṛṣabhadeva faced such intense antagonism from the general populace that He had to adopt the behavior of a python to avoid their opposition. Yet, despite the perpetual impediments created by antagonistic demons, Śrīla Prabhupāda guarantees that the pure preaching mission of Kṛṣṇa consciousness will always emerge victorious by the divine grace of the previous ācāryas.
