An awakened soul no longer endeavors for the temporary fruits of karma or the empty promises of mundane welfare work. They resume their eternal, constitutional position as a loving servant of the Supreme Lord, guaranteeing their return back home, back to Godhead, and ending the cycle of birth and death forever.
