Śrīla Prabhupāda explains that the deepest theological secret of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu's appearance is His adoption of the mood (bhāva) and complexion (dyuti) of Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī. Although He is Kṛṣṇa Himself, He appeared in this specific form to understand the depth of Rādhārāṇī's love, which even Kṛṣṇa Himself finds amazing.
