The Vedic system of education and social organization relies heavily on the transformative power of personal example. However, he strictly warns that following does not mean superficial or dangerous imitation (such as attempting to mimic Lord Śiva). Furthermore, Śrīla Prabhupāda places a heavy responsibility on the leaders, parents, and senior members of the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement to perfectly follow his own tireless example, ensuring they set an unblemished standard that will inspire and protect the entire society.
