The philosophical essence of this category establishes that beauty is one of the six primary opulences of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, and because He is the Supreme, His beauty is absolute, infinite, and unequaled. Śrīla Prabhupāda explains that God's beauty is not a material construct; it is a purely spiritual reality that defies all mundane comparisons, defeating the beauty of millions of Cupids and even surpassing the exquisite beauty of the goddess of fortune, Lakṣmī-devī. The Lord's transcendental features—His lotus eyes, His mind-attracting smile, His blackish hue resembling a fresh raincloud, and His perfectly structured body—are so enchanting that they captivate not only ordinary men but also the highest liberated sages, like Śukadeva Gosvāmī and the four Kumāras. Every part of the Lord's body is beautiful, and remarkably, His beauty even enhances the beauty of the ornaments He wears, rather than the other way around. The ultimate purpose of God's beauty is to attract the conditioned souls back to Him. By focusing one's eyes on the beautiful form of the Deity and meditating on His lotus feet, a devotee's material desires are extinguished, replaced by the eternal, blissful engagement of pure devotional service.
