Theme Analysis
Śrīla Prabhupāda explains that the Supreme Personality of Godhead operates on unchanging, divine principles designed to guide the living entities back to the spiritual world. By His descent as Śrī Kṛṣṇa, Lord Rāmacandra, or Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, the Lord practically demonstrates the ultimate principles of religion, morality, and unalloyed devotional service. Atheists and degraded administrators foolishly reject or remain ignorant of these divine laws, leading to their own downfall and punishment under the laws of material nature. A sincere devotee, however, achieves the ultimate goal of life simply by understanding and strictly following the principles established by the Supreme Lord and His authorized representatives.
- The Supreme Ruling Principle: The Absolute Truth is the ultimate governing principle of all existence, and all authorized expansions and potencies act in perfect harmony with this supreme source.
- Reestablishing Divine Law: Whenever there is a discrepancy in the execution of religious duties, the Lord or His avatāra descends to protect the devotees and reestablish the eternal principles of a godly society.
- The Ignorance of the Atheists: Demonic persons and foolish leaders remain deeply envious of the Lord, actively working against His divine principles, which ultimately forces them into the darkest regions of material existence.
- The Path of Perfection: By strictly adhering to the spiritual principles demonstrated by the Lord and His pure devotees, the conditioned soul is guaranteed relief from the material tabernacle and a return to the spiritual realm.
