The philosophical essence of this category establishes that the Supreme Personality of Godhead, along with His activities, forms, and potencies, is fundamentally beyond the comprehension of the tiny human brain. Śrīla Prabhupāda explains that the Lord possesses acintya-śakti, or inconceivable energy. Because of this energy, the Lord can perform wonderfully contradictory feats: He is completely all-pervading yet simultaneously situated in His personal abode; He is the supreme controller yet appears to take birth; and He sustains millions of floating planets simply by His will. Frog-philosophers and mental speculators attempt to measure God using their limited intellects, which only leads to illusion and vague explanations. However, pure devotees do not waste time trying to artificially calculate the Lord's magnitude. Instead, they accept His inconceivability on the authority of the Vedic injunctions and achieve perfect understanding through the process of loving surrender.
- The Definition of Acintya-Śakti: The Lord's energies are entirely beyond the range of mundane thought or physical calculation. This inconceivable power allows Him to perform acts that are logically impossible for a conditioned soul.
- The Futility of Mental Speculation: Tiny human brains and modern scientists can only offer vague, impractical explanations for the cosmic manifestation. Attempting to understand the Supreme Lord through mere intellectual speculation is a useless endeavor.
- Reconciling Contradictions: The inconceivability of the Absolute Truth is the only way to perfectly reconcile apparent contradictions, such as the Lord being simultaneously personal and all-pervading, or the greatest of the great and the smallest of the small.
