The relationship between God and the brāhmaṇas is a central theme in Vedic theology. The Supreme Personality of Godhead is universally recognized as the well-wisher of the cows and the brāhmaṇas. When a brāhmaṇa becomes a pure Vaiṣṇava, a beautiful dynamic of mutual worship unfolds. The qualified brāhmaṇa faithfully worships the Supreme Lord, and the Lord, out of His infinite affection and humility, accepts the brāhmaṇas as His worshipable deities. The Lord protects the brāhmaṇas, and the brāhmaṇas protect the spiritual principles of the world. By honoring and serving this exalted class of devotees, the Supreme Lord sets the perfect example for all of human society to follow, proving that the ultimate goal of all knowledge and brahminical culture is loving surrender to Him.
