- A disciple should always meditate on the order of the spiritual master, and that is perfectional meditation. Not only should he meditate upon that order, but he should find out the means by which he can perfectly worship and execute it

- In brahminical culture a brahmana's transcendental position is eternally maintained because the injunctions of the Vedas are accepted with faith, austerity, scriptural conclusions, full sense and mind control, and meditation

- Smoke is, although indication of the fire, but it is not fire. So similarly, so-called meditation, so-called spiritualism, concocted idea, there is some touch of spiritual life, but that is not spiritual life. One should understand. It is called abhasa
- So everyone does not know what is meditation, and they talk very much, "meditation." This is going on. These bluffers, they say "meditation," but what is the subject matter of meditation they do not know. Simply bogus propaganda. You see?
- So in Kali-yuga the practice of yoga is not possible. It was possible in the Satya-yuga. Krte yad dhyayato visnum. That is meditation. That was possible in the Satya-yuga. But in Kali-yuga you can do that, the same achievement you can have by hari-kirtana
- So that perfection of knowledge was achieved in the age of goodness by meditation, and in the age of Treta by sacrifice, and by Dvapara by worship, and in this age this krsna-kirtana

- This simplest method of meditation (chanting hare krsna) is recommended for this age. By practical experience also, one can perceive that by chanting this maha-mantra, one can at once feel a transcendental ecstasy coming through from the spiritual stratum
