Śrīla Prabhupāda asserts that perfect knowledge can never be attained through empirical research, mental speculation, or reliance on our flawed material senses, which are bound by the four defects of conditioned life. True, infallible knowledge descends through the paramparā (disciplic succession) from the Supreme Perfect Person, Śrī Kṛṣṇa. By submissively hearing this deductive (avaroha-panthā) knowledge from a bona fide spiritual master and authorized Vedic scriptures, one transcends material ignorance. The ultimate perfection of this knowledge culminates in the realization that Śrī Kṛṣṇa is the source of everything (vāsudevaḥ sarvam iti), leading one to surrender completely in pure devotional service.
- The Imperfection of Material Speculation: Human beings are plagued by imperfect senses, the tendency to commit mistakes, illusion, and a cheating propensity. Therefore, any knowledge produced by the inductive, empirical method is inherently flawed.

- Modern politicians who pose themselves as dhiras are actually adhiras, and one cannot expect perfect knowledge from them. They are simply busy seeing to their own remuneration in dollars and cents

- Vedic knowledge means there is no mistake, there is no cheating, there is no imperfection. Everything is perfect. So science means which is perfect knowledge

- We are not interested now about calculation the perfect knowledge. This perfect knowledge comes from God, or Krsna, and it is distributed by parampara system, by disciplic succession
- We are so fool that we simply believe in direct perception. No. Direct perception is never perfect, because our senses are imperfect. So how you can get perfect knowledge? At night I cannot see anything, so what is the use of my these eyes?
- We can give you the name of the sun planet, the president of the sun planet, his address. We can give you the address of God, Krsna, His features, His activities. This is perfect knowledge. Simply vague idea, that is not knowledge
- We cannot accept this defective knowledge. Our knowledge is from Krsna. We accept that this body is dead because the soul has passed to another body. This is perfect knowledge
