Prabhupāda: I don't believe anyone except Bhāgavata, Bhagavad-gītā. That is my science. They speculate. I don't believe it. Why shall I? And in the beginning Vyāsadeva said, kim anyaiḥ śāstraiḥ: "Take only Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam as the book of knowledge. Bās. You need not read any other." Nigama-kalpa-taror galitaṁ phalam (SB 1.1.3): "This is essence of all Vedic knowledge."
