- A devotee like Narada can act wonderfully by his spiritual perfection, which every individual is trying to attain. Srila Narada is a cent-percent perfect living being, although not equal to the Personality of Godhead
- A hunter in the forest, although a great sinner, was not an intentional offender. He was at once influenced by the presence of Narada, and he agreed to take the path of devotion, leaving aside his hearth and home
- According to Narada Muni and Vedic culture, animal-killers are not even gentlemen, to say nothing of being religious men
- Actually, it is for this purpose (to teach the path of spiritual liberation) that Narada Muni compiled his Bhakti-sutra and gave directions in the Narada-pancaratra

- Because King Pracinabarhisat was engaged in performing various sacrifices in which animals were killed, Narada Muni pointed out that such sacrifices are influenced by the mode of ignorance. From the very beginning of Srimad-Bhagavatam
- Because Lord Brahma had finally descended from Satyaloka to Bhuloka, Narada Muni, Prince Priyavrata and Svayambhuva Manu came forward to offer him objects of worship and to praise him in highly qualified language, according to Vedic etiquette

- Both Narada and Parvata were once in trouble with the daughter of Maharaja Srnjaya. Maharaja Srnjaya got the benediction of a son by Parvata Muni
- Both Suniti and Narada Muni knew that the demand of Dhruva Maharaja was impossible for any demigod to fulfill, and therefore both of them recommended following the process of devotional service to Lord Krsna
- Brahma informed Narada that none of the great sages, including himself, could estimate the potential strength & energy of the Supreme Lord. He admitted that even if Ananta with His thousands of tongues tried to estimate the Lord's energies, He would fail
- Brahma, Narada and all others are simultaneously one with the Lord and different from the Supreme Lord. We are all one with Him, just as the gold ornaments are one in quality with the stock gold, but the individual gold ornament is never equal in quantity

- By my (Narada's) special favor, after the expiry of one hundred years by the measurement of the demigods, they (Nalakuvara and Manigriva) will be able to see the SPG, Vasudeva, face to face, & thus revive their real position as devotees - SB 10.10.20-22

- Daksa criticized that Narada Muni was an offender to the Lord although he was known as an associate of the Lord
- Daksa was extremely angry at Narada because he thought that Narada had done him a great injustice. According to Daksa's opinion, Narada Muni had misled Daksa's inexperienced sons
- Devarsi Narada is described herein (SB 1.13.38) as bhagavan due to his being the most confidential devotee of the Lord
- Devotees like Brahma, Narada, Vyasadeva and Sukadeva Gosvami are directly servants of Krsna, and one who becomes a servant of Narada, Vyasadeva and Sukadeva, like the six Gosvamis, is still more devoted
- Dhruva frankly admitted that he was lacking in brahminical humility and was therefore unable to accept the philosophy of Narada Muni

- Even personalities like Lord Brahma, Lord Siva, Manu, the Prajapatis (headed by Daksa), the four Kumaras, Marici, Atri, Angira, Pulastya, Pulaha, Kratu, Bhrgu, Vasistha and even Narada himself could not properly receive the causeless mercy of the Lord
- Even Vyasadeva is surrendering to Narada. Such a great scholar. Even Arjuna is surrendering to Krsna. So why? Either you have to surrender to Krsna or Krsna's representative. Then there is solution. Otherwise there is no solution
- Every one of them (Brahma, Siva, Visnu, Narada and other powerful demigods, men, supermen, sages, rsis, dead bodies, satans, evil spirits, jinn, aquatics, birds and beasts) possesses only a fragment of the great potencies of the Supreme Lord
- Everyone is afraid of danger at every moment, but when one sees a devotee like Narada, all fear is relieved
- Everyone thinks - The butcher thinks, "It is my life. I must cut the throat of the animals daily." Just like that - what is that hunter? And Narada Muni met him? Yes, Mrgari

- Family affection is very strong, and therefore Narada Muni followed this tactic of reminding them (the Savalasvas) of their family relationship with the Haryasvas
- For Narada Muni, the door of every house is open. Although there is perpetual animosity between the demons and demigods, Narada Muni is welcomed everywhere
- For the present day, the pancaratriki-vidhi as enunciated by Narada Muni is the only hope

- God's creations are described nicely by such liberated souls as Srila Narada, Vyasa, Valmiki, Devala, Asita, Madhva, Sri Caitanya, Ramanuja, Visnu Svami, Nimbarka, Sridhara, Visvanatha, Baladeva, Bhaktivinoda, Siddhanta and Sarasvati
- Great authorities like Narada, Vyasadeva, Lord Chaitanya, Siddhanta Sarasvati, Bhaktivinode Thakur, Arjuna, and what to speak of the countless others say that Krishna is the SPG. So to understand these authorities you have to follow in their footsteps

- He (Akrura) also saw there the Lord in His Visnu form as well as Narada and the four Kumaras, who were worshiping Him
- He (Brahma) returned to his own planet with the four Kumaras and Narada because they were not going to be married
- He (Daksa) improperly thought Narada Muni to be asadhu, or nonsaintly, because Narada had foiled his intentions. Desiring to train his sons to become grhasthas fully equipped with knowledge, Daksa had sent them to execute austerities by Narayana-saras
- He (Daksa) was aggrieved because Narada Muni had misled his sons for a second time. He wanted to prove that Narada Muni, although dressed like a sadhu, was not actually a sadhu; he himself, although a householder, was a greater sadhu than Narada
- He (God) is accepted as the Supreme Personality of Godhead by learned scholars & saints like Vyasadeva, Narada, Asita and Devala in the past & by Arjuna in the BG as by the acaryas like Sankara, Ramanuja, Madhva and Lord Sri Caitanya in the modern age
- He (God), being absolute, is nondifferent from the science of God, Srimad-Bhagavatam. Brahmaji received this science of Godhead from the Lord directly, and he handed over the same to Narada, who in his turn ordered Srila Vyasadeva to expand it
- He (Hamsavatara) also explained unto you (Narada), lucidly, the full science of devotional service, which is especially understandable by persons who are souls surrendered unto Lord Vasudeva, the Personality of Godhead
- He (Narada Muni) is a liberated spaceman. The causeless mercy of Lord Visnu is unparalleled, and such mercy is perceived by the devotees only by the grace of the Lord
- He (Narada Muni) thinks himself deficient in the inspiration of being feelingly absorbed in Krsna consciousness. This does not mean, however, that the enemies of Krsna are more elevated than Krsna's pure devotees
- He (Narada Muni) was very pleased with Dhruva Maharaja because in one lifetime, by dint of his severe penances and austerities, he had achieved Vaikuntha, which was never achieved by any other king's son or rajarsi throughout the whole universe
- He (Prahlada Maharaja) asked the Lord to engage him in the service of His servant Narada Muni. This is the symptom of a pure devotee
- He (Srutadeva) spoke very highly of the Lord and the sages (Narada and others), and he and his wife washed the feet of each one of them. After this, he took the water and sprinkled it over all the members of his family
- He collected expositions of the Vedas which deal with devotional service and which inspire nonfruitive action
- He got the opportunity to serve the devotees, and simply by eating the remnants of their foodstuff and carrying out their orders he became so elevated that in his next life he became the great personality Narada

- He then fetched water and washed the sages' feet with great devotion. Then both husband and wife drank that water and sprinkled it on their heads

- Here (in SB 7.10.35) Narada Muni is relating how in three different births the associates of Lord Visnu were killed by Lord Visnu Himself. First they were the demons Hiranyaksa and Hiranyakasipu
- Here (in SB 9.2.17) it is said, ksatram brahma-bhuyam gatam ksitau: although the Dharstas belonged to the ksatriya, they were able to convert themselves into brahmanas. This gives clear evidence supporting the statement by Narada in SB 7.11.35
- Herein (SB 7.11.35) it is clearly stated by Narada Muni that one should not be accepted as a brahmana, ksatriya, vaisya or sudra according to birth, for although this is going on now, it is not accepted by the sastras
- His (Brahma) other sons - Sanat, Sanaka, Sanandana, Sanatana and Narada - went back with him in his swan-shaped airplane
- His (Narada Muni's) first offense was that he went to join the sankirtana party in the company of lusty women

I
- I (Narada Muni) beg one thing from you only," Narada implored. "Please accept it
- I (Narada Muni) then passed alone through many forests of rushes, bamboo, reeds, sharp grass, weeds and caves, which were very difficult to go through alone
- I (Narada Muni) was the only son of my mother, who was not only a simple woman but a maidservant as well. Since I was her only offspring, she had no other alternative for protection: she bound me with the tie of affection
- I (Narada Muni) was very much attached to those sages. I was gentle in behavior, and all my sins were eradicated in their service. In my heart I had strong faith in them. I had subjugated the senses, and I was strictly following them with body and mind
- I (Prabhupada) have already spoken to you about Narada. He has also accepted Him. That means authorities. He's quoting authorities
- I (Pracinabarhi) now can understand the distinction between devotional service, knowledge and renunciation. I had some doubts about them, but you (Narada) have now very kindly dissipated all these doubts
- I am known as a grhavrata because these yajnas are called vratas (vows). Unfortunately, you have given me great displeasure by misguiding my sons, for no reason, to the path of renunciation. This can be tolerated once
- I beg you that from this day on you will kill animals completely and not leave them half-dead
- I had some doubts about them, but you have now very kindly dissipated all these doubts. I can now understand how even the great sages are bewildered by the real purpose of life. Of course, there is no question of sense gratification
- I passed through hills & mountains full of reservoirs of various minerals like gold, silver & copper, & through tracts of land with reservoirs of water filled with lotus flowers, fit for the denizens of heaven, decorated with bees & singing birds
- I shall thus be relieved of my obligations to the reactions of my karma, and my fortune will be to receive the dust from the lotus feet of great devotees like Narada Muni
- If one takes shelter of Narada instead of material teachers, this (confidential) knowledge is possible to understand. Understanding does not depend upon high parentage
- If the brahmin, by not executing his prescribed duties, he becomes a sudra - so Narada Muni says: What is the loss there? Because Krsna consciousness is so nice that it will not leave the person who has once taken to Krsna consciousness

- In this age, devotional service of hearing and repeating the holy glories of the Lord is strongly recommended, and one who takes the vow of renunciation of family life need not imitate the parivrajakacarya like Narada or Lord Caitanya

- Is He going to quit His earthly pastimes, as Devarsi Narada indicated? Has that time already arrived?
- It (Krsna Consciousness) is accepted by authorities like Lord Caitanya, Ramanujacarya, Madhvacarya, Narada, Asita, Vyasa - there are so many authorities

- Living entities, beginning from Brahma, the highest demigod, down to the lowest ant, have right to use natural resources. Narada Muni points out that we can use these resources as much as we require, but if we take more than required, we become thieves

- O best of the brahmanas, you are directly the son of Prajapati (Lord Brahma). Because of your austerities, mystic yoga and trance, you are considered the best of all of Lord Brahma's sons
- O best of the saints among the demigods, O best of spiritual leaders, how did Hiranyakasipu give so much trouble to Prahlada Maharaja, the pure and exalted saint, although Prahlada was his own son? I wish to know about this subject from you
- O brahmana (Narada), O master, I (Yudhisthira) have never heard of such a contradiction as an affectionate father's punishing his noble son with the intention of killing him. Kindly dissipate our doubts in this regard

- O King, I shall now describe the qualifications for a vanaprastha, one who has retired from family life. By rigidly following the rules and regulations for the vanaprastha, one can easily be elevated to the upper planetary system known as Maharloka

- Past, present and future are known to me (Lord Siva), Sanat-kumara, Narada, the most revered Lord Brahma, Kapila (the son of Devahuti), Apantaratama (Lord Vyasadeva), Devala, Yamaraja, Asuri, Marici and many saintly persons headed by him
- People may say, to satisfy his friend, Arjuna has accepted Him (Krsna) as param brahma. But that is not the fact. Arjuna gives evidences that, Not only I, but the great authorities like Vyasa, Narada, Asita, Devala, they have also accepted You as the SPG
- Personalities as Narada must be offered all due respects, like those offered to the Personality of Godhead Himself
- Prahlada Maharaja is a mixed siddha; that is, he is perfect partly because of executing devotional service and partly because of eternal perfection. Thus he is compared to such devotees as Narada

- Prajapati Daksa wanted to prove that he had been most tolerant in not having said anything when Narada Muni, for no reason, induced his ten thousand innocent sons to adopt the path of renunciation
- Prajapati Daksa was right in pointing out this defect (of false renunciation), but he did not know that Narada Muni had aroused the spirit of renunciation in the Haryasvas and Savalasvas through full knowledge. Such enlightened renunciation is desirable
- Prajapati Daksa's accusation that Narada had not actually elevated his sons to the platform of knowledge was not factual. All the sons of Prajapati Daksa had first been raised to the platform of jnana and had then automatically renounced this world
- Prince Priyavrata regularly served the lotus feet of Narada, and thus the Prince perfectly understood transcendental subjects in truth (sa-tattvah). The word sa-tattvah means that Priyavrata knew all the facts about the spirit soul

- Seeing my (Narada's) attempts in that lonely place, the Personality of Godhead, who is transcendental to all mundane description, spoke to me with gravity and pleasing words, just to mitigate my grief
- Since Daksa's sons (Haryasvas and Savalasvas) had not liberated themselves from these three debts (obligations to the demigods, the saints and their father), how could Narada Muni have led them to the renounced order of life?
- Since Kalakanya, the daughter of Time, was deputed by Narada Muni to offer herself to Yavana-raja, the King of the Yavanas could not refuse her. All transactions must be performed in light of the sastric injunctions
- Since neither Lord Siva nor you nor I could ascertain the limits of spiritual happiness, how can other demigods know it
- Since Prajapati Daksa was a karmi, he could not appreciate the great service Narada Muni had rendered his eleven thousand sons
- Since these offspring (sixty daughters) of Daksa were women, Narada Muni did not try to lead them toward the renounced order of life. Thus the daughters were saved from Narada Muni
- Since these two persons (Nalakuvara and Manigriva) have been blinded by the pride of celestial opulence and have become attached to women, I (Narada Muni) shall relieve them of their false prestige
- Since these two persons (Nalakuvara and Manigriva), drunk with the liquor named Varuni, or Madhvi, and unable to control their senses I (Narada Muni) shall relieve them of their false prestige - SB 10.10.19
- So Narada Muni became astonished that he, he was a learned scholar and brahmana, and he would take so much time, and the cobbler would be liberated in this life
- Sometimes a sincere servant and devotee of the Lord is also called bhagavan. Sri Narada is called bhagavan, and Lord Siva and Vyasadeva are also sometimes called bhagavan
- Sometimes an actor in a drama plays the part of Narada Muni, although in his private life he is not at all like Narada Muni because he is not a devotee. Such actors are not needed in dramatic performances about the lives of Sri Caitanya and Lord Krsna
- Sometimes he (Narada) would laugh very loudly, sometimes he would cry very loudly, sometimes he would remain silent
- Sometimes he (Sukadeva Gosvami) went to the sun planet with the permission of his father and Naradaji

- Srila Naradadeva is stressing this particular defect in the Vedic literatures compiled by Vyasadeva, and thus he is trying to emphasize describing everything in relation with the Supreme Lord, and no one else
- Srila Sanatana Gosvami, in his Tosani, says that the word narada - adibhih means that Narada & the demigods were accompanied by other saintly persons, like Sanaka & Sanatana, all of whom came to congratulate or welcome the Supreme Personality of Godhead
- Srila Vyasadeva's compilation of different Vedic literatures on the basis of regulated performances of fruitive activities as depicted in the Mahabharata and other literature is condemned herewith by Srila Narada
- Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 6.3.20) states that there are twelve mahajanas: Brahma, Narada, Sambhu, the four Kumaras, Kapila, Manu, Prahlada, Janaka, Bhisma, Bali, Sukadeva and Yamaraja

- Tears from the eyes of a devotee is an automatic reaction, and because Sri Narada Muni in his previous birth attained that stage very quickly after his departure from home, it was quite possible for him to perceive the actual presence of the Lord
- The 12 mahajanas, or great souls are: (1) Brahma, (2) Siva, (3) Narada, (4) Vaivasvata Manu, (5) Kapila (not the atheist, but the original Kapila), (6) the Kumaras, (7) Prahlada, (8) Bhisma, (9) Janaka, (10) Bali, (11) Sukadeva Gosvami and (12) Yamaraja
- The adjustment is that all these incidents (killing Sankhacuda, chastising Kaliya, rasa dance) would take place in the future, after the time when it was being foretold by Brahmaji to Narada
- The affection of all the elderly gopis in Vrndavana is a mixture of parental love, servitude and fraternity. The affection of the sons of Madri - Nakula and Sahadeva - as well as the affection of the sage Narada, is a mixture of friendship and servitude

- The allegorical story narrated by Narada Muni to King Barhisman is especially meant to engage conditioned souls in devotional service
- The asuras sometimes become so powerful that they can engage even Narada Muni and similar devotees in their service. This does not mean that Narada was subordinate to Hiranyakasipu
- The authentic scriptures are compiled by personalities like Vyasadeva, Narada, Asita and Parasara, who are not ordinary men. All the followers of the Vedic way of life have accepted these famous personalities

- The King replied: O best of the brahmanas, I am very much addicted to my wife, and I am so fallen that I have abandoned all merciful behavior, even to my son, who is only five years old
- The Lord's mercy descends to a devotee like Brahma and, through Brahma, to Narada, from Narada to Vyasa, from Vyasadeva to Sukadeva and so on in the bona fide chain of disciplic succession
- The Lord, Sri Krsna, appeared as a human being, yet He performed many uncommon and wonderful pastimes by His own potency. How can I say more about His activities than what has already been said by great saintly persons?
- The mahajanas, or great personalities, are Brahma, Lord Siva, Narada Muni, Manu, the Kumaras, Prahlada Maharaja, Bali Maharaja, Yamaraja, Bhisma, Janaka, Sukadeva Gosvami and Kapila Muni
- The nine different processes enunciated by Prahlada, who learned them from Narada Muni, may not all be required for the execution of devotional service; if a devotee performs only one of these nine without deviation, he can attain the mercy of God

- The prompt diagnosis of Sri Narada is at once declared. The root cause of the despondency of Vyasadeva was his deliberate avoidance of glorifying the Lord in his various editions of the Puranas
- The question put by Narada before Brahma concerning the sustenance of the material creation is thus answered
- The questions may be asked why Naradaji was not aware of the Supreme Lord and why he mis-conceived Brahmaji to be the Supreme Lord, although factually he was not

- The Supreme Personality of Godhead said: Freed from all sinful reactions are those who rise from bed at the end of night, early in the morning, and fully concentrate their minds with great attention upon Narada Muni; Lord Siva and Prahlada
- The three animals that were half-killed were then brought to their consciousness by the sage Narada. Indeed, the animals got up and swiftly fled
- The transcendental form of the Lord, as it is, satisfies the mind's desire and at once erases all mental incongruities. Upon losing that form, I (Narada Muni) suddenly got up, being perturbed, as is usual when one loses that which is desirable
- The word samsucitam in this stanza is also significant. One should not think for a moment that the realization of Narada was childish imagination only. It is not like that. It is so realized by the expert and erudite scholars
- The word tantram is significant herein. Sometimes tantram is misunderstood to be the black spiritual science of materialistic persons engaged in sense gratification, but here tantram means the science of devotional service compiled by Srila Narada Muni

- These sons, who were named the Savalasvas, also (like the Haryasvas) engaged in worshiping Lord Visnu to beget children, but Narada Muni convinced them to become mendicants and not beget children
- They (demons) manufacture their own religious principles and disobey great personalities like Vyasa, Narada, and even the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Krsna
- They (great devotees) are always peaceful, thinking of Krsna, and therefore they are called dhira. The best example of such a devotee is Narada Muni
- This (CC Madhya 20.318) is a quotation from Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB 2.6.32). Lord Brahma gave this information to Devarsi Narada when he was receiving instructions from Lord Brahma to understand the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Paramatma
- This KC movement means we are presenting the BG as it is. That's all. We have no difficulty because Krsna is accepted as authority, the SPG, by all the acaryas; not only formerly, like Vyasadeva, Narada, Asita, Devala, many, many big, big stalwart
- This kriya-yoga or karma-yoga, as recommended by Sri Narada to Vyasa, is specifically recommended because the principle is to satisfy the Lord

- This Narada Muni's history is very interesting, that he was not educated, a boy, and not coming from cultured family - maidservant's son. The only qualification was that nirupito balaka eva yoginam. He was engaged as a boy servant to the yogis
- This rascal is thinking more than Brahma, Narada, Kapila, Prahlada. He is thinking he is more than them. That means rascal, overintelligent
- This Valmiki Muni was a dacoit, a plunderer. He used to plunder, I mean to say, innocent men on the road, kill him and take everything. That was his business. But by chance, he was associated with Narada Muni, and he rectified him
- This very significant question (how associates of the Personality of Godhead were cursed to descend in material bodies like ordinary persons) would be difficult for an ordinary person to answer, but Narada Muni, being an authority, could answer it
- Those who are not interested in hearing directly about the activities of the Lord, or who cannot understand them, can very effectively hear such stories & fables as this one narrated by Narada. The following are some of the allegorical usages
- Three great personalities - Priyavrata, Narada and Svayambhuva Manu - were sitting on this hill. According to Brahma-samhita, each universe is filled with different planetary systems, and every system has a unique opulence
- To bestow upon them (Nalakuvara and Manigriva) special favor, Narada Muni arranged things in such a way that after being released, they would be able to see Krsna in Vrndavana and thus revive their dormant bhakti
- To satisfy the mind perfectly, I (Sukadeva Gosvami) shall hereafter describe the characteristics of these nine devotees when I discuss the conversation between Narada and Vasudeva

- Under the shadow of a banyan tree in an uninhabited forest I (Narada Muni) began to meditate upon the Supersoul situated within, using my intelligence, as I had learned from liberated souls
- Unfortunately, Prajapati Daksa, the father of the Haryasvas and Savalasvas, did not understand the great service rendered by Narada Muni
- Unless one is disciplined . . . this is the only qualification, that Narada Muni was disciplined - so much disciplined that he's a small boy, still, he would not talk anything nonsense. He was so disciplined
- Upon hearing this, the boys came to their senses and begged Narada to be pardoned for their offenses

- Vidhi means Brahma, the first created living being. He is the original student as well as professor of the Vedas. He learned it from Sri Krsna and taught Narada first. So Narada is the second acarya in the line of spiritual disciplic succession
- Vyasadeva is the original writer of Vedic knowledge. He accepts Krsna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Vyasadeva's guru, Narada. Narada's guru, Brahma, he accepts, isvarah paramah krsnah sac-cid-ananda-vigrahah (Bs. 5.1)
- Vyasadeva was further inquisitive to know about the perfection of Naradaji, and therefore he wanted to know about him more and more
- Vyasadeva's disappointment was due to insufficiency in presenting the science of devotional service. Narada knew the defect, and it was confirmed by the position of Vyasa

- Wanting to prove that he had been magnanimous to Narada Muni, Prajapati Daksa stressed that when Narada had misled his first sons, Daksa had taken no action; he had been kind and tolerant
- We are all infected by Your illusory energy; therefore we are very attached to the body, which is full of stool and urine, and to anything related with the body. Except for devotional service, there is no way to give up this attachment
- We can just imagine the extent and unlimitedness of his (Narada Muni) freedom, which is as good as that of the Supreme Lord
- We have both come to relieve you from this false lamentation, which is due to your being merged in the darkness of ignorance. For those who are advanced in spiritual knowledge to be affected by material loss and gain is not at all desirable
- We have many times mentioned the names of twelve selected authorities (dvadasa-mahajana), of which Brahma, Narada and Lord Siva head the list as the first, second and third in order of merit of those who know something of the Supreme Lord
- We have seen the example in the life of Narada Muni
- We have to accept the philosophy as it was contemplated by Lord Brahma, Narada, Madhvacarya, Madhavendra Puri and Isvara Puri. These great acaryas are beyond the imperfections of so-called scholars
- We should carefully note that the statements described herein (SB 2.7.33) are the statements of Brahmaji to Narada, and he was speaking to Narada of events that would happen in the future, during the advent of Lord Krsna
- Whatever was spoken by the Supreme Personality of Godhead to Lord Brahma in those four verses of Srimad-Bhagavatam was also explained to Narada by Lord Brahma
- Whatever you have spoken about me is not false because unless and until one is aware of the Personality of Godhead, who is the ultimate truth beyond me, one is sure to be illusioned by observing my powerful activities
- When a touchstone touches iron, it turns the iron to gold. Parvata Muni called Narada Muni a touchstone because by his touch the hunter, who was the lowest among men, became an elevated and perfect Vaisnava
- When all the animals fled, the hunter wanted to chastise Narada with abusive language, but due to Narada's presence, he could not utter anything abusive
- When Daksa heard this news, which was brought to him by Narada Muni, he began to lament. Although he was the father of such good sons, he had lost them all. Certainly this was lamentable
- When Dhruva Maharaja was talking with his mother, Suniti, of all the incidents that had taken place in the palace, Narada was not present

- When I am not covered by the material elements, sarvopadhi-vinirmuktam tat-paratvena nirmalam (CC Madhya 19.170), then I can go everywhere, automatically. Just like Narada Muni goes everywhere. He has no impediment
- When King Dhrtarastra, Vidura, Yudhisthira, Bhima, Arjuna, Bhismadeva, Dronacarya, Kunti, Nakula, Sahadeva, Narada, Vyasadeva and many other relatives and kinsmen were about to depart, they felt separation and therefore embraced each and every member
- When Lord Krsna was sitting on His throne and Narada fortunately entered His assembly, even Lord Krsna immediately stood up with His officers and ministers to offer respectful obeisances to Narada

- When Narada Muni learned that Jambhasura had been killed, he informed Jambhasura's relatives Namuci, Bala and Paka, who then went to the battlefield and attacked the demigods
- When Narada Muni left the forest path and went to the hunter, all the animals immediately saw him and fled
- When Narada returned to earth and approached the brahmana, the brahmana said, - Oh, you have seen the Lord? What was He doing
- When Parvata Muni saw the ecstatic loving symptoms of the hunter, he told Narada, 'Certainly you are a touchstone'
