- In the Srimad-Bhagavatam it is said that the transcendental subject matter becomes clear in the association of the devotees. Without good association, one cannot achieve transcendental knowledge. BG 1972 purports
- In their (Nanda Maharaja's and Yasoda's) association, all the other inhabitants of Vrndavana, the gopas and gopis, developed the culture of krsna-bhakti - SB 10.8.51

- The word 'nirgrantha' can be taken as an adjective modifying 'muni' and 'atmarama.' There is another meaning, which you may hear from Me, indicating association with a devotee
- The word rantidevanuvartinah indicates that Rantideva's officers, friends, relatives and subjects all became first-class Vaisnavas by his association. In other words, Rantideva is confirmed herein (SB 9.21.18) to be a first-class devotee

- There are many things which hinder one from entering devotional service. But by the association of pure devotees all these obstacles are removed

- There is one good opportunity - the association with devotees. Such association brings about great happiness. Due to this good quality, our strong desire to achieve liberation by merging into the Brahman effulgence has become weakened
- These are the necessary qualifications of a prospective candidate who can expect to be elevated to the position of a pure unadulterated devotee. Such a candidate must always seek the association of pure devotees
- These are the six principles we should always remember: enthusiasm, patience, conviction, following the regulative principles, becoming honest, and in the association of devotees
- These five are (so important in DS) (60) associating with devotees, (61) chanting the holy name of the Lord, (62) hearing the Srimad-Bhagavatam, (63) residing at a place of pilgrimage like Mathura, and (64) worshiping the Deity with faith and veneration
- They avoid that trap, they avoid association of women. But these women are not ordinary women. They are preachers. They are preachers. They are Vaisnava. By their association, one becomes a Vaisnava

- This is the influence of a pure devotee. If there is one pure devotee, his association can create hundreds and thousands of pure devotees
- This relishing of transcendental mellow in discharging devotional service cannot be experienced by all classes of men because this sweet loving mood is developed only from one's previous life's activities, or by the association of unalloyed devotees
