- This is an instance of fearfulness caused by a ferocious animal and of the search for shelter while remembering Krsna in ecstatic love
- This is the difference between DS and all other methods of perfection. One who performs severe austerities for sense gratification is fearful to the entire world, whereas a devotee who performs even a slight amount of DS is a friend to everyone
- This material world is fearfulness. Its prisoners are always fearful as within a prison house
- This material world, in which there is fear and danger at every step (padam padam yad vipadam), is not meant for those who have taken shelter at Krsna's lotus feet. Such persons are delivered from this fearful world
