The ultimate perfection of all religious, philosophical, and occupational endeavors is the development of unalloyed love for Kṛṣṇa. When a devotee successfully develops this pure love, their vision and lifestyle undergo a miraculous transformation. Just as a mother instantly sees her child when looking at their shoes or toys, a pure devotee whose eyes are smeared with the ointment of love (premāñjana-cchurita-bhakti-vilocanena) sees Kṛṣṇa twenty-four hours a day, within their heart and in everything around them. Without this developed love, it is impossible to remain engaged in Kṛṣṇa's service continuously. Because Kṛṣṇa includes everyone, a person who learns to love Kṛṣṇa perfectly and naturally loves all living entities, automatically acquiring all the exalted qualities of the demigods and achieving the ultimate cure for the material disease.
