The pursuit of spiritual life begins when one stops wasting time on material anxieties and starts asking the right questions. Śrīla Prabhupāda instructs his disciples to constantly make submissive inquiries about the Absolute Truth rather than diverting their attention to mundane business. Despite his immense global responsibilities, he considers it his sacred duty to personally answer the sincere philosophical questions of his followers. As the movement expands, he trains his senior leaders and local husbands to become fully competent in answering inquiries, establishing a strong, decentralized society. Through this dynamic system of authorized questioning and answering, known as sva-goṣṭhī, the entire institution remains deeply connected to the pure scriptural reality.
