- Studying God Through the Self: Because the living entities are minute parts and parcels of the Supreme Lord, one can understand the nature of God by minutely studying one's own spiritual identity.
- Observing the Lord's Energies: Just as one can understand the presence of a fire by seeing smoke, or understand the sun-god by observing the sunshine, one can study God by observing how His diverse energies are spread throughout the universe.
- Relishing Transcendental Pastimes: Unlike conditioned souls who are absorbed in mundane histories, intelligent persons study the transcendental narrations of Lord Kṛṣṇa's incarnations, forms, and pastimes, which purifies the heart and awakens deep attraction.
- Abandoning the "Frog Standard": It is foolishness to try and measure the inconceivable potency of the Supreme Lord using our own limited, materialistic standards. He must be studied through the authorized Vedic process.
- The Postgraduate Study: While jñānīs and yogīs may study the laws of God or His impersonal features, the bhaktas engage in the topmost study of the Supreme Personality of Godhead through texts like the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam.
